"Wonderful little hotel close to everything"
We stayed three nights. Perfect location for tourists. Walking distance to major sights. Easy access to transportation. (A few blocks) Cute neighborhood. Darling well appointed small rooms. Very helpful staff. We'd definitely come back!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Quaint, historic, meticulously pleasant hotel in the Marais"
This hotel is the epitome of quintessential, antique Parisian experience. My girlfriend and I stayed in the a higher-floor room facing the street: spacious, quaint, with all the original trappings you'd want from an old French hotel (we had stayed in the just as authentic, but definitely not as polished, Hotel Esmerelda, a few nights before).Hotel stationary and accoutrements are thoughtfully laid out, the desk and closets are antique and spacious, and our room even had a small patio with extendable roof cover on top to enjoy the picturesque breakfast (13 euro) served to the room, which fed two. (The details are honestly thought out to a bewilderingly pleasant t, such as individual insignia'd cups and saucers, tiny nightstand coves bed-side, and lush Parisian soaps and whatnot--with a modest flat screen tv in there to boot.) Concierge and attendants extremely thoughtful, and the lobby feels like a jewelry box. Honestly not sure how much more you would want from a hotel like this -- a real slice of time,
"Cozy hotel in centre"

We had a lovely weekend stay in this cozy hotel. It is a bit quirky, but this just adds to the experience. The rooms are not huge but they are adequate for a weekend and have real character. The day and night staff were all really helpful with tips for Paris. The location is really good for the metro, although on the advice of the receptionist we bought a book of bus tickets so that, as he told us, 'why travel around beautiful Paris underground?!
"Charming Hotel, Excellent Service!"

This is an adorable hotel... The best I've ever stayed at in Paris. Everything was period appropriate but still very clean and well equipped. The breakfast in bed was perfection. The view is stunning, and the service was impeccable. The owner offered a discounted last minute reservation over the phone because someone had recommended the hotel to us.
"Lovely hotel and great staff in Paris"

The hotel was recommended to us by Emilie from France Just For You and we were very pleased with her recommendation. It may not be a 5 star hotel but its staff are and so is their service. It has a lot of charm and in a very good location. They are helpful and always greet you with a small- gave us directions and even booked tickets for us. You can opt to have in-room breakfast or down in their breakfast area. We left some items in the room and they happily sent it to us on urgent parcel to Provence free of charge. The hotel is a walking distance to Rue Rivoli, The Louvre and many other sites of historical value. There are many Cafe's, Boulangerie, boutique shops to choose from around the area as well as Amarino and Pozzetto. We had no difficulty getting a cab and it is very close to the metro stop - about 3 minutes.. It is not a very busy street so even being on the 1st floor was not a problem for us - occasional cars speeding by. If you are a light sleeper, try and book a room in A higher floor. That said, we will be happy to stay in this hotel on our next trip to Paris!
"Beautiful Hotel In The Heart Of Paris"

Including Paris in our summer holiday itinerary for a few days, we wanted a place that had a good location and offered comfort. We found all that we were looking for in Caron de Beaumarchais, named after the writer of "The Marriage Of Figaro". It was located between the St Paul and Hôtel de Ville underground stations, making everything easily accessible. The decoration of the hotel captivated us from both the outside and the inside with its 18th century style. The exterior could be mistaken for a lovely boutique, with its blue-framed windowpanes. Once we entered, we felt like being taken back in time, in 18th century France, visiting a friend's or relative's house. We felt very much at home and certainly loved taking the lift, just as cute, with the painting and the flowers. Our room had a nice big bed with wardrobes on both sides, a flat screen TV with plenty of channels to watch, and a comfortable bathtub. Breakfast was not included in the price, but it was entirely worth the additional 13 euros. Undoubtedly, the best breakfast we have ever had, with freshly baked croissants, pain au chocolate, boiled eggs, delicious French cheese, marmalade, kiwi, yogurt, coffee, tea, and milk. We had the greatest pleasure of having the company of the owner's dog, Bobby, who treated us with his loveable and playful personality. The staff were beyond friendly and helpful, providing a map for us, suggesting restaurants, and printing out some tickets. Staying in this beautiful hotel made our trip to Paris all the more enjoyable. We will definitely choose it again if we are to visit Paris another time.
"stayed here last year, amazing service!"
I came here for my husbands birthday last year, at first I was a little hesitant because it is a small hotel, but the rooms are so artfully decorated, not to mention the service is amazing! Such friendly hotel staff! Location is awesone, Rue de Rivoli is my favorite street in Paris, and this hotel is a ten second walk from it, highly recommended!

We stayed here in June with our 2 daughters and their husbands. The hotel is conveniently located, the rooms are small but nice, and the breakfast was delicious and convenient. But what I'll remember most about our visit was the amazing staff. I don't believe I have ever stayed in a hotel where I was treated so kindly. Genevieve is a gem, going way above and beyond the norm to help with reservations, directions, and recommendations. When a restaurant lost our reservation and was going to turn us away, she convinced them to find a table for us! When one of us left an iPad in the room when checking out, the gentleman (owner?) RAN, in a suit, about 3 blocks to catch us and return the iPad before we boarded the Metro….who does that? Wouldn't even think about staying anywhere else.
"We Loved this Hotel!"

This hotel is in a great location within walking distance to Notre Dame Cathedral and surrounded by cafés and restaurants. It is also close to two metro stops on Rue de Rivoli. Our room was small but very comfortable and clean. The staff was very helpful with giving us directions to various places. On our last night in Paris my husband needed to buy train tickets and the person at the front desk (I wish I knew his name) helped him plan our route and purchase tickets on line. This was around 3:00 A.M., which shows you the lengths they will go to accommodate their guests!
"Chintzy furnishings, but slightly seedy area"

I stayed at this hotel with my daughter in early July. I had asked (by online application at the time of booking) for a fifth floor room as I had read from the reviews that these rooms had a little balcony and I thought it would be nice to have breakfast outside: I was told that they couldn't guarantee it, but in fact we were placed in room 51, which indeed had a tiny balcony. The room was pleasant enough, but the balcony was so small it was a bit hard to access, and so noisy from the traffic that I don't think an al fresco breakfast would have been very pleasant. As it was, it rained nearly the whole time we were in Paris so we couldn't use the balcony anyway (there was no shelter on it). It rained so hard that water started coming in through the roof of our room and dripped into my daughters open suitcase. I phoned reception and they came up straight away with a glass vase to catch the drips - they knew where to put it, so I think they were aware the roof leaked. It wasn't really a huge problem, but there was no offer to move us to a different room, nor any other recompense, and we had to move gingerly around the vase for the rest of our stay. The room was very hot at night, and the AC unit was incredibly noisy, so we tried leaving the door open the first night, but the noise of the street was so great (I like a bit of traffic noise, but this was unpleasant) that we put up with the heat the next few nights. I'm not sure I'd want to stay here in the heat of summer. We ordered breakfast in our rooms the first morning - freshly squeezed orange juice, tea/hot chocolate, croissants, boiled eggs, yoghurts, kiwis for 13E each - it felt a bit pricey, but then Paris as a whole seems so. The next two mornings we had breakfast in a little café round the corner. I found the district surrounding the hotel generally a bit disappointing. It seemed a bit seedy, and didn't have any of the appeal of 'village Paris' like you'd get in say Montmartre. We struggled to find a restaurant with any charm within walking distance. It was only about ten minutes walk from Notre Dame though, so it depends what you want in a hotel location. It was a bit like staying in Leicester Square in London: not very pretty, but very central.
"excellent service, great location"

Wonderful, comfortable hotel. The staff was very helpful with great restaurant selections and they were always available to help with other suggestions. The owner of the hotel often can be found sitting in the lobby making sure you're being taken care of. The room is small, but very comfortable. And quiet! There's only 3 rooms per floor and we never ran into or heard any other guests. Not sure why they added flat screen TVs to the room - but I guess some people like to watch TV even when visiting Paris. ;) Location is great! Walking distance to Nortre Dame, Louve and the Marais neighborhood has so much to explore. Also an easy access to many Metro stops. (US citizens note: get a credit card w/"chip" before you travel - the Paris metro doesn't use "slider" style credit cards.) The breakfast they offered is very large. More than we needed to eat - so it's good deal if you want to skip lunch. Would go back again - one small note: there is construction going on next door, but it never interfered with our sleep. About 60 Euros to the airport - but had no problem getting a taxi.
