"très bonne adresse en plein centre de Paris"
très agréablement surpris par cet hôtel : accueil impeccable et souriant, chambre calme et bien tenu, situation géographique exceptionnelle (à côté de l'hôtel de ville, à proximité de la ligne 1 du métro) les chambres donnant sur la rue sont plus grandes que celles donnant sur la cour. Excellente adresse : j'y reviendrai.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Stayed 3 nights with my boyfriend in November. Very cosy hotel, walking distance to Notre Dame and Louvre. Ask for a room with view to the street - we had view to the backyard, could not even see the sky. Friendly and helpfull staff.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Helt top!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Genuine Expedia guest review
"Loved this little Gem!!"
12/20/14 Dawntrills Houston, Texas
This is a small gem that is simply lovely. In the middle of all the hustle and bustle of the Marais is this tiny oasis of comfort and great service. The front desk staff could not have been more helpful from making dinner reservations, suggestions for rental car return, and to going out of their way to make calls necessary after a lost wallet. We stayed several days and the rooms were quiet, clean, and comfy. The breakfast downstairs was very nice and made an easy start for the day. Loved the décor and history of this location! Great curb service to help with all our luggage. Would stay here again!
"Quaint and quiet gem of a hotel!"

What a charming boutique hotel in the middle of the Marais, run by an owner for whom this is a labor of love, who leaves no detail unattended -- who truly understands the needs of his guests! Our family stayed for five nights in two rooms; one on the front side, the other on the rear side. The rooms were clean and boast many helpful details for the convenience of guests, such closets on each side of the beds and a laundry line that can be stretched across the length of the tub. The rooms and rest of the hotel are appointed tastefully with Beaumarchais-era artwork and antiques, which we enjoyed. The rear rooms are darker and more quiet, but the front rooms have a balcony overlooking a main street; we enjoyed sitting out with snacks and people-watching. The noise was never so loud that it disrupted sleeping; in fact, the hotel, in general, is quiet. The hotel is situated amid a host of good restaurants, shops and sights. It's a short walk from the Saint Paul and Hotel de Ville metro stations. The hotel breakfast costs 13 Euros and was to die for: Fresh juice, pastries, an egg, cheese, yogurt, kiwi, and butter and jam. The carafe of delicious coffee was easily enough for two people. An added plus is the owner's Scottish Terrier, "Bobby." You'll find him occasionally at breakfast and in the lobby, and he's as comical and sweet as can be. Not least, the owner and staff are top-notch professionals -- always eager to help with everything from restaurant recommendations to transportation planning with specific instructions. In one case, they called about taxi service in a small town we were visiting, printed out a map and highlighted directions. We haven't often experienced this level of attention to detail. Then again, that's what this hotel is all about: Attention to the finest detail. One side note: Of the many good restaurants in the area, we enjoyed Restaurant Les Philosophes, a couple of blocks away on rue Vielle du Temple. If you go, be sure to try their apple tart dessert, the customer favorite "Tarte Tatin." We've traveled extensively and Hotel Caron de Beaumarchais will be our go-to hotel for Paris; we enjoyed it that much!
"A Gem in the Marais"

I selected the hotel from Trip Advisor and it did not disappoint. Very convenient to the shops and sites in the Marais and to the Seine, Caron de Beaumarchais is a sophisticated small hotel with a gracious staff. I was a guest for three nights. Etienne was particularly helpful to this solo traveler by making dinner reservations and arranging transportation to the airport. The room was quite small but charming and well appointed and quiet. I specified a small room because I was alone but there are larger ones!

Booked this hotel for 3 days in December 2014 and had no regrets. Very conveniently located close to the Ille de la Cite, it was close to major attractions like the Notre Dame, the Lourve and Place Vosges. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The only issue I had was that there were not enough electrical power points; only one available in the room, the other was in the toilet. highly recommended hotel.
"Great place to stay"
11/19/14 Margaret M Liverpool, England, United Kingdom
We stayed here in November for 5 nights. The hotel is charming and totally different from the larger chain hotels which is why we wanted to stay there. The rooms are small, but with everything that you need for a short stay maybe a small kettle with tea/coffee available would be an advantage (so glad I took our own kettle). Bed was comfortable and it was lovely to sit on the balcony one late sunny afternoon with a glass of wine. The staff were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. They changed our Seine river cruise ticket to the Eiffel tower ticket, this was great as we used the batobus to get around so we had our river cruise anyway. 18Euros for 2 days, good value, hop on hop off to see the sights along the river. We had an excellent breakfast for 2 mornings but then preferred to have a brunch on the other mornings. The location is brilliant, near Notre Dam, the river and lots of restaurants. The staff recommended a couple of places to eat which we used and found to be excellent. The Marais district is a wonderful place to stay due there being small streets around the hotel with lots of restaurants. Try the falafel at lunch time, it is very tasty and filling. Would return to this hotel and definitely recommend to others.
"Agree with previous good reviews"
Caron de beaumarchais is in a great location very close to the islands. We had a small room but no complaint about that, had smaller. Fascinating furnishings. Great breakfast well described by others. Friendly staff.

This hotel was located so perfectly, especially for first time visitors to Paris. It was very close to the main bus line, walking distance to Notre Dame, and great restaurants. The staff was so friendly, attentive, and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our private bathroom and breakfasts. We will definitely stay here again.
"Charming hotel, good location"

I stayed at the Caron de Beaumarchais for a romantic weekend with my husband. The hotel has a great location in the middle of Marais, close to restaurants, bars, sights and shopping - a short walk from Metro stations St Paul and Hotel de Ville. The hotel is very romantic and charming - it looks like a shop from the outside and you feel like you went to the country side when you step in. The rooms are tiny, but clean and fitted with what you need for a short stay. Our room was quiet and dark and we slept very well. The staff are very friendly and speak fluently English.
"We Loved it!"
10/28/14 CenterMtraveler Center Moriches, New York
My husband and I recently spent 5 nights at the Hotel Caron de Beaumarchais. We absolutely loved it! It is perfectly located, a short walk to many Paris attractions. And if you need to go farther afield, there is a metro station only a 5 minute walk away. We stayed in room 60, and believe me, it was TINY! Hardly more room than the bed itself. But we had a little balcony with a table and chairs, we were able to eat some meals outside, overlooking the rooftops of Paris. We felt like royalty! Our room was beautifully decorated, in keeping with the theme of the hotel. Lots of antiques and interesting things to look at. Very small tv, but you're not visiting Paris to watch tv, are you? Nice bathroom, good shower. The hotel staff were wonderful. They were courteous and very helpful. How nice to be staying in a hotel where they welcome you by name when you return from your adventures each day. Special thanks to Genevieve and Philip for extra help along the way. The hotel breakfast at 13 euros was convenient and plenty of food for 2 people. I cannot imagine ordering a second breakfast. The breakfast consisted of 3 nice big delicious pastries, one egg, one yogurt, one kiwi, butter and jam. The coffee carafe contained enough coffee for 3 cups. But you have the option of ordering one breakfast with an extra coffee if you are 2 really serious coffee drinkers. The hotel is located near lots of restaurants. And there are cerrtainly many bakeries, cheese shops, meat shops and other fine French food available if you want to prepare a picnic meal. If you need a hotel with lots of bells and whistles, then Caron de Beaumarchais is not for you. But if you are looking for a wonderful, warm, small hotel with lots of French charm and atmosphere, you won't be diappointed.
"Can't beat the location, great value"
10/27/14 LucyMarley Toronto, Canada
I've stayed here with my husband on four occasions over the last 8 years. We've loved it every time. The location is fantastic with plenty of great restaurants and bars nearby. Staff are extremely helpful in giving advice or making dinner reservations. We usually pass on the breakfast and grab something at a nearby bakery. My husband likes to get a coffee and english newspaper delivered to the room in the morning. We like the street facing rooms with the balconies. Rooms are not huge but are big enough and the hotel overall is great value. Would highly recommend it.
