"Wonderful little hotel close to everything"
We stayed three nights. Perfect location for tourists. Walking distance to major sights. Easy access to transportation. (A few blocks) Cute neighborhood. Darling well appointed small rooms. Very helpful staff. We'd definitely come back!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"old world charm"

Staff is a pleasure, the continental breakfast is perfect..... the rooms are small , as was to be expected . We had a little balcony off our 2nd floor room which was a nice treat. What the room lacks in space it makes up in charming features - small antique accent pieces, wood beam ceilings and a lovely chandelier. Buses and underground are conveniently just steps away.My only complaints: we had to ask for shampoo and buy our own conditioner, as it was not provided. my suggestion: add a couple of Euros to each night stay and please supply these basics. The bedding ( cushions and blankets need an update too).Rectify these shortcomings and this little hotel would deserve 5 stars from me.
"Great Boutique Hotel!"

What a perfect little place to stay in Paris. It's a charming, independently operated hotel in a great location in the Marais. Exceptional service throughout our stay. Breakfast was great each morning, and the owner was very helpful to us as we determined our site-seeing and travel plans.
"Small, but perfectly formed."

What a find. We were refugees from a previously much used hotel and this was our first try at Le Caron. It really provided us with everything you could need in a cosy 3-star establishment and the staff could not be more attentive. Our room was small but had all mod cons and a good bathroom. It was quiet and on the 5th. floor but there was a lift. The reception is furnished like an 18th.c parlour, with spinet, a table laid as if for cards and gaming, and in winter an open fire. Full marks to the owner who recognises what guests want, to which he adds courtesy and charm.

We have stayed twice in this fabulous hotel in the marais ! The last time we were lucky enough to have a room with a balcony which overlooks the rooftops of Paris ! The staff is great and very helpful. Rooms are small but comfortable and clean ! Can't wait to return !

We stayed here for a week and it was absolutely lovely! The location is right in the middle of the Marais- close to everything, and perfect for those using the bus or metro to get around the city. All the shopping and cafes in the area are incredible, and all the big sites are walking distance. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Would absolutely stay here again!

This hotel is in an ideal location in the Marais district. The Notre Dame is only a 10 minute leisurely walk away. The Louvre is also within walking distance. There are great restaurants within 5-10 minutes walk of the hotel. The staff are all very friendly and helpful.
"Quaint, historic, meticulously pleasant hotel in the Marais"
This hotel is the epitome of quintessential, antique Parisian experience. My girlfriend and I stayed in the a higher-floor room facing the street: spacious, quaint, with all the original trappings you'd want from an old French hotel (we had stayed in the just as authentic, but definitely not as polished, Hotel Esmerelda, a few nights before).Hotel stationary and accoutrements are thoughtfully laid out, the desk and closets are antique and spacious, and our room even had a small patio with extendable roof cover on top to enjoy the picturesque breakfast (13 euro) served to the room, which fed two. (The details are honestly thought out to a bewilderingly pleasant t, such as individual insignia'd cups and saucers, tiny nightstand coves bed-side, and lush Parisian soaps and whatnot--with a modest flat screen tv in there to boot.) Concierge and attendants extremely thoughtful, and the lobby feels like a jewelry box. Honestly not sure how much more you would want from a hotel like this -- a real slice of time,
"Cozy hotel in centre"

We had a lovely weekend stay in this cozy hotel. It is a bit quirky, but this just adds to the experience. The rooms are not huge but they are adequate for a weekend and have real character. The day and night staff were all really helpful with tips for Paris. The location is really good for the metro, although on the advice of the receptionist we bought a book of bus tickets so that, as he told us, 'why travel around beautiful Paris underground?!
"Charming Hotel, Excellent Service!"

This is an adorable hotel... The best I've ever stayed at in Paris. Everything was period appropriate but still very clean and well equipped. The breakfast in bed was perfection. The view is stunning, and the service was impeccable. The owner offered a discounted last minute reservation over the phone because someone had recommended the hotel to us.
"Lovely hotel and great staff in Paris"

The hotel was recommended to us by Emilie from France Just For You and we were very pleased with her recommendation. It may not be a 5 star hotel but its staff are and so is their service. It has a lot of charm and in a very good location. They are helpful and always greet you with a small- gave us directions and even booked tickets for us. You can opt to have in-room breakfast or down in their breakfast area. We left some items in the room and they happily sent it to us on urgent parcel to Provence free of charge. The hotel is a walking distance to Rue Rivoli, The Louvre and many other sites of historical value. There are many Cafe's, Boulangerie, boutique shops to choose from around the area as well as Amarino and Pozzetto. We had no difficulty getting a cab and it is very close to the metro stop - about 3 minutes.. It is not a very busy street so even being on the 1st floor was not a problem for us - occasional cars speeding by. If you are a light sleeper, try and book a room in A higher floor. That said, we will be happy to stay in this hotel on our next trip to Paris!
