"Boutique hotel in the middle of the key sites"
This was a great location for our first stay in Paris. The Metro (Etienne Marcel) station is one block away and the RER (les Halles) station is just a few blocks away. Take the RER - B line from the CDG airport and you will be at the hotel quickly. Room was nice and clean. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.Genuine Expedia guest review
Of 6 different inns over 13 days in France, Relais les halles had the best shower facilities. We had a pretty, nicely decorated, corner room (#502) with views up two streets. Easy access to Metro at Etiene station & Velib sites & little grocery around the corner. Neighborhood looks a bit seedy after dark but we had no problems. Would stay there aga […] in. "Great boutique hotel, great service."
Lovely small hotel with delightful staff. Hotel is in quiet location and centrally located in the 1st. Our stay was wonderful thanks to Vincent and others. Really comfortable bed (my husband is 6'3") and nice bath accommodations. We'll be back!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Le Relais des Halles"
Lovely boutique hotel with great restaurants across the street. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We checked out and were about to board a train when I realised we left our passports in the hotel safe. Vincent sent them to us straight away in a taxi. Superb!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Central hotel in Paris with friendly staff"
Stayed one night this week for a job interview. From the moment I arrived the staff could not have been more helpful. I was offered a cold bottle of Evian and given recommendations for restaurants as well as travel details (Metro tow mins away) and how to log on to wifi which was free! The room was big enough for one or two persons with tasteful and […] recently upgraded decor and super clean bathroom. Bed was extremely comfortable too and the soundproofing excellent. I was given petit dejeuner on the house which was one of the best I have eaten, along with the Toblerone I ate from the mini bar! Cannot recommend highly enough. Felt like a home from home. I will be back! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Small hotel about 1/2 mile or so north of Notre Dame. Excellent location, good clean hotel with good sized rooms and great staff. We would recommend the breakfast, 15 Euros each but probably the best continental buffet breakfast We have had. Would definitely stay here again if we return to Paris.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great hotel in an excellent location"
We stayed here for 2 nights on a recent trip to Paris - we booked 3 rooms, 2 were comfort and 1 was classic - all were excellent. The only difference with the classic room was that it had a smaller bathroom but it was still of ample size! During check-in Vincent (as many people have already mentioned) was very helpful. He went through a map with me and marked places of interest, explained how to get to them and reserved us a table for dinner. The hotel is small but this was perfect for us as it had a boutique feel and the staff were all very attentive and helpful. The location is also great within easy walking distance to Notre Dame and with a metro stop just a few minutes away. We would definitely stay here again when in Paris and would recommend it to everyone.

We're just back from a 4-night stay at this excellent hotel. It's very small but perfectly formed; we were in room 100 which seemed to be the only room on the ground floor. It was charming, reasonably priced for Paris and very well located. The soundproofing was amazing, and we slept extremely well. The hotel is bright and airy, with a welcoming Reception area and excellent staff - particularly Vincent, who went above and beyond and seemed genuinely pleased to help. Our room was well equipped, with the Apple Mac computer being a nice touch. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of hanging and storage space, which is not always the case in the centre of Paris. The bathroom was large (although there was only a shower; there was room for a bath and one would have been appreciated). Bathrobes were also strangely absent, and again would have been welcome. There is no restaurant, although a room service menu is available in the evenings. There are lots of restaurants in the surrounding area so you will not be short of places to eat. Breakfast is served in a small but pleasant basement, with the usual croissants and pastries, fruit, omelettes, cereals and meats. We would have preferred slightly extended hours from the 7-10 a.m. for weekdays and 8-11 at weekends; 7-11 throughout would have been perfect, but perhaps this is the sort of compromise you have to make with such a small hotel. There are two well-connected Metro stations within a couple of minutes walk; Etienne-Marcel is only seconds away. And you can easily walk to central attractions like the Louvre and Pont Neuf. The total cost was also very reasonable, coming in at under 200 GBP per night for such a wonderful location inclusive of breakfast. Central Paris is not short of great boutique hotels, but Le Relais des Halles has jumped to the top of our favourites and is the one we will choose for our next visit to this beautiful city.
"a very good hotel"

We were very pleased from our stay here, the hotel is a small boutique kind , very kind and helpful staff- Piere in the front desk was our city guide - excellent location, super clean, the beds are to kill for, you will not want to get out fo them. My only problem was there weren' t any gluten free options in breakfast but this is not really an issue. Also many coffee shops and restaurants just a few steps away and the most important only five min walk from the metro station. We had a lovely stay and i strogngly recomend it.
"could not fault it!"

This was a delightful small hotel, such comfortable beds, newly renovated, lovely bathrooms, in a quiet street near to three metros. It was five stops from Gare du Nord. We were given recommendations on restaurants and anything else we required was immediately done. The staff were very pleasant and we were even offered iPads for the hotel room. We borrowed umbrellas when it rained, .... I could go on! If I had to find any downside, it would be that we thought the breakfast, at 15 euros was a tad too much. We had that at other cafes in the area.
"Small but perfectly formed"

Charming small hotel - staff so pleasant and helpful both pre visit online and during our stay. Rooms not large but nicely decorated and very comfortable. Excellent soundproofing. Hotel is a hundred yards from forum des halles metro/rer hub, and ten minutes walk takes you to le Marais in one direction, Norte dame and in another and St German just fifteen mins across the river. Au Pere tranquille in next block does good basic brasserie fare - upstairs if room available. Excellent location, quality hotel - we'll be back
"Great Service & Location"

This was the first hotel my wife and I stayed for our honeymoon and we were so pleasantly surprised by the service and help rendered to us by Vincent. He advised us on the various sites to visit not just within the vicinity but in Paris as well. It really did make our first day in a foreign country feel welcoming. Hotel wise, it was a charming boutique hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there, even extending it by a day. We would definitely visit again when we are in Paris.

This was our first trip to Paris and I booked this hotel based on the reviews and it was a good choice. The location was in easy walking distance to Notre Dame and Louvre. Our room was on the smaller side but excellent linens with a very nice bathroom with shower and tub. Breakfast was standard but good with many cafe and bar options nearby as well. The service was excellent with front desk being very helpful with recommendations and suggestions. I think overall it was a great value and I would plan to stay here again.

Location is awesome. The staff was awesome. Breakfast awesome. . Wifi was weak but with all the awesomes it was easy to overlook this. The staff gave us a very good detailed list of what to see, where to eat and so much more. Just plain awesome the whole experience.
"Good infrastructures, service could be more consistant"

Le Relais des halles offers a good location in the center of Chatelais les Halles, walking distnace to metro station and RER. The hotel is very quiet and our room (Comfort) was very comfortable, spacious shower and good bed. It was smelling a little old tobaco, this is the only small minus we found. The breakfast was small but made of fresh products, coffee was ok, nothing to complain of. This hotel could be a little gem if they would work a little more on service consistancy. When we arrived the receptionist looked like he didn't know much: we asked for a taxi station and he said he didn't know, the next day when we checked-out, he charged our credit card once and forgot to press the button and he said the transfer didn't go through and wanted to charge our card once again but my wife said that she clearly saw the transfer happened on the display. We speak a little French so there was no communication issues. But there was an american couple who required a doctor and the receptionnist (an other one) understood that they wanted an adaptator! Then he called the doctor line but could not remember the room number of the guests, etc. We had to wait in the lobby of the hotel for some time because our flight was late and some staff was seated with the receptionnist and they were looking at the Internet to buy a new I-Phone and discussing in front of us payments, and other details since the lady was forbidden of credit card, she wanted to get the receptionnist to buy the Iphone for her, etc. It was somehow funny but not really what you would expect to give the right atmosphere to the place. On the good side and since we had to wait the receptionnist prepared us some tea and coffee and gave us some bottled water to take with us in the train.

We stayed here in October 2013 as we were celebrating our 5 year anniversary and impending parenthood. This is a lovely hotel - quiet, free wi fi, decent typical European breakfast, nice soaking tub in bathroom, two metro stations within easy walking distance as well as tons of restaurants. The best part of the hotel is Vincent as others have said. He was totally awesom!!! He assisted with great dinner reservations and helped us get tickets to the eiffle tower when the website showed they were sold out. He was so personable and attentive - he totally makes the hotel!! We would stay there again no question.
