"A/C issues, leaking shower"
I have stayed here previously and loved it and had no complaints. This time I checked into one room and the a/c didn't work and made a horrible sound that woke me up every hour. They moved me to a new room the next day and the A/C was broken in there and I had to ask them to fix it 3 times. Each time they said it was fixed but it wasn't. Bot rooms also […] had showers that leaked all over the entire bathroom floor. The rooms were much much smaller than I'd had before (even though the previous stays I had 'small' rooms), and the a/c and shower problems were a clear sign that I got the cheap rooms because I got a cheap rate. I will think twice about revisiting, which is hugely disappointing because I had a great experience there in the past. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Outstanding place to stay"
Location is brilliant, staff is very acommodating, the location is close to everything and the atmosphere is very social - excellent if you are travelling alone. The pool on the roof top was an added plus, the spa was great and the rooms very clean - the showers are amazing!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Surprised my husband with a weeekend in Berlin as a birthday present and booked SoHo house after recommendations. So glad I did, the hotel really made our stay! I'd booked the smallest room however the layout was great and loved the interior. Price for room and food at the hotel was very good, you rrally get a lot for your money. Would highly recom […] mend. "Most special hotel ever stayed in"
the bed, the bath, the shower, the amenities, the service, the resteraunt, the pool - everything about this hotel is special. cant wait to stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This is one of those hotels that are so nice that I don't want to tell anyone about. With its superbly stylish decor and world class club bar (very reasonably priced, too) and fantastic spa and friendly staff, what's not to love about?Genuine Hotels.com guest review

I have been to a lot of the various houses around the world ... and they are all of an equally high standard . The food is a bit samey after a while but you really do manage to relax and the staff are fantastic . On my stay this time in Berlin , there were a couple of glitches ...but overall the service was great .Genuine Expedia guest review
"Uber-cool hotel in central Berlin"
Great spot. Cool without being unfriendly. Stayed in a room marked as "tiny" but it was no less spacious than a typical hotel room. Good value.Genuine Expedia guest review
Hotel was great and rooms were comfy + clean. Staff very helpful especially when we rented some bikes!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Incredible Room and In-Room Amenities"
We stayed in a "medium" room and absolutely loved it! The room was in fact quite large, well designed, with a great terrace and every amenity we could ever need. From a Babylis hair iron to a carefully curated magazine collection to a full selection of Cowshed shower gels, you would be hard pressed to find a better selection of amenities anywhere else! […] You'd also have a hard time finding a better shower. The huge rainwater shower head was divine, with just right water pressure and a huge bench, it made for the perfect bathing experience. Other great experiences at this hotel are Brunch in the Soho House club and a workout at the fully equipped, full-scale gym - both are must-dos. The only shortcoming of this hotel is that they do not offer 24/7 room service, but otherwise there is no better place to stay in Berlin! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Best hotel I've ever stayed in."
I travel regularly work work and pleasure and stay in hotels on average once or twice a month and I have to say Soho Hotel Berlin takes top honours. Amazing looking rooms, great staff, and an amazing bar. If you ever get the chance you must stay here!Genuine Expedia guest review
First class stay from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Great location. The comfiest beds & pillows I've ever encountered.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Absolutely loved my stay. Going to the bar by the pool for a few drinks after work made my working day much more pleasant. The staff were lovely and attentive. Although the staff serving breakfast were super slow! The rooms were amazing, the bed was super comfortable. I will definitely stay again and highly recommend it to everyone else.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We stayed for one night on a short trip to Berlin and had a fantastic stay. All the staff were extremely helpful and polite. Our room was lovely - really comfortable bed and pillow and very quiet too. The roof terrace was fantastic for sunny evening drinks and a relaxed breakfast in the morning. Loved our stay and would definitely go back.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Somewhere different to stay"
This is an edgy place. It's a building with a past and that makes it fascinating to explore. The interiors are lovely. We had a "small" room which was pretty big by our standards. It was very comfortable, with an amazing shower. Although the hotel is on a busy intersection the room was quiet and the curtains kept out the light efficiently by means of […] an arrangement I have noted for future use ... I guess the ethos of the place is direct communication - so there wasn't any written info in the room - which is fine, but different. Because Soho House is a club first, there wasn't much hotel atmosphere, which was also fine but perhaps a tad unsettling. The staff were all charming and unfailingly polite and everything was very high quality. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Private members club in the heart of Berlin"
Really impressive décor, luxury furnishings, leather bed with massive headboard, beautiful bathroom, all with the trademark Soho House industrial feel but still luxurious. There is the signature funky Soho House bar on the 7th floor, a scaled down version of the one in Shoreditch House in London. Only thing that let's this place down is the service […] - the waiting staff are cool and groovy but they haven't been properly trained in the finer points of attentive service - I had to forego my breakfast as they forgot to take my order! However I forgive them, I love this hotel/private members club and will definitely make it my base in Berlin - normally you can't get in without membership or as a guest so to be able to book rooms and get in that way is great. "Fantastisk hotel - meget anderledes"

it was not long ago rated as mu favorite hotel in the world.... and it has plummeted. everything that could go wrong. Arrived after a long road trip.... went to the restauarant.... arrived at 11.30.... asked if the kitchen was open... yeah, sure, they said... we waited a long time for a waiter (they all seemed very busy.. with eac other)but finally one came.... took our order (11.45) put the plates out... and then came back at 12.05 saying that the kitchen closed at midnight. Next day, early morning we went to the spa to make reservations for massages, two receptionists helped us make the reservations.... and when we came back, the receptionist pretended she had never heard from it... when one of the girls who made our reservation told her that she had written it down she barked in german at her she should shut up and continued lying to us that she never had heard of our reservations. Unfortunately for her we speak german. the manager of the hotel tried to fix it for us by shipping us off to another hotel with a lousy spa with outrageous prices. when we came back, exhausted, we ordered roomservice. only half of all our dishes arrived (because they had changed the menu in the restaurant but obviously not in the rooms) but what arrived was so poor, really so disgusting, tuna tartare on a bed of avocado with a dill mousse was four pieces of unripe avocado and three pieces of stringy tuna, that we decided to pack our bags, and even though we had paid for two more nights, leave... so sad. the rooms are spectacular, the location is fantastic, but the level of service has plummeted. And then, for that price, there are so many better options to be found in town. I am so sorry... I will really miss the Soho.
"Excellent - truly excellent."

Girlfriend and I have just returned from a 5-day stay at Soho House Berlin, and we were incredibly pleased with it. The Room - we were on the 1st floor, which was slightly noisy from the road, but the room itself was superb, and the bed incredibly comfy. I could sleep on a washing line, so the noise wasn't to bother me, but the other half is a light sleeper but she slept better than she has in a long time. We had a small room (30sqm, approx 320sft), which is plenty big enough unless you're a princess/ staying for the long hall. The Gym - didn't use it, but it looked good, very clean, well equipped and with very friendly staff. The Club Rooms/Bar - really cosy, with big comfy sofas, a great drinks list (although I wasn't a huge fan of the Soho Mule, but that's just personal preference), and superb service. The restaurant - large range of food for honest prices. The Rib-Eye was particularly good! General ambience of the place was great - I'll be back. I actually preferred the ambience in here to most other bars and restaurants in Berlin. I'll be back to Soho House Berlin, and I'll probably become a member if I can get a recommendation. Last but not least, the staff were super. My German is non-existent, but their English was superb, and their service impeccable. 5-Stars, no brainer.
"Utter luxury and fabulousness"
Just spent two nights in this hotel and it was one of the main highlights of our trip to this amazing city. Rooms are beyond Devine and the customer care focus from all the staff sets the benchmark in terms of excellent and value. I am a member of the house and don't normally leave feedback - but this stay warrants a review and 5 star posting. A big thumbs up to Ben on level 7. A cheeky KIWI with bags of happy.
"Worst soho house so far"
12/07/14 trip a London, United Kingdom
We have stayed in many soho houses, but this one is definitely at the bottom of the pile. It feels like a big, cold, empty hotel rather than a private members offering which, lets not forget is what Soho House is first and foremost. The stark, big, hollow entrance with two sides and two rows of people serving is confusing and we were passed from person to person - we felt very unwelcome from the moment we arrived and the first impressions are not great. It felt unfinished. This hotel genuinely feels like everything the group isn't supposed to be - mass, a huge hotel, and very poorly run set on a main, unattractive road, rather than down a quaint, cool side street. Upon booking we stipulated the style of room we really didn't want, and although I know that they never guarantee rooms - the place has so many they could easily have given us one that was differently designed to the one we got - I even went as far as to send a picture of it. The facilities were average; the main dining room floor had no bathrooms in service as there was a flood so it was a chilly hike up to the loo's on the roof which was utterly freezing, three of which were also out of order with the only one in use having had the loo seat smashed in half, and semi flushed away by what I can only imagine was a giant with a hammer. The staff were ill informed, and the one time the dining space was busy (the only time in three days) we went to use the brasserie style space and were told it was being used for staff lunch. Staff should eat there lunch in a staff room - as members and hotel guests paying through the nose for the experience - I do not agree that we shouldn't be able to eat when we want due to staff being seen eating in the restaurant. That is not cool. The spa was also very disappointing, when we went to use the (weird) hammam, we asked if there were any appointments for the nail area as it was stone cold empty at 11am and we were told it only operates in the afternoon and no, they were full. Kind of annoying when you can see the seats are empty, other houses within the group are usually busy and it seemed a waste to have the facilities and not use them. Upon entering the rather smelly hammam, we were greeted by a naked man/guest who bent over so far in front of us, we could see out of his mouth. We decided to use the steam room which smelt dank and dirty, with the steam element not really working so we gave up. The only other thing worth mentioning was the bar on the lower ground floor which we assumed was a private event space but which we found when we were checking out. It was much nicer than the upstairs bar/s and I felt we should have been shown around by staff who knew it was our first time visiting. The exterior of the front of the building is flanked by two empty spaces with brown paper and tape up against the windows - one is going to be a pizza east and one is already a complete waste of space 'store' which is filled with drivel. The hotel really could have utilised the space far better by putting something useful in here and I really hope the space stays for a short period and changes as its pointless, sullen and does not fit in with the Soho House offering.

We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay for our first romantic weekend away. We booked a medium room (would have been happy with any from reviewers photos), then when checking in we had the pleasure of being upgraded to an apartment (not sure why but who cares). Walking into room 34 was an experience I won't forget in a hurry. It was beautiful. Huge. Stylish. I couldn't stop grinning for a whole 10 minutes. The staff were super helpful and friendly so I struggle to see how others have commented otherwise. This made our stay in Berlin just perfect. Can't wait to go again.
"Outstanding luxurious vintage!"

A unique hotel in a historical building in the heart of Berlin! No room is quite like the other. I am very picky about beds and pillows but in Soho House I found the most comfortable beds and pillows EVER! (even better than in my own home) The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the service is the best even, though the style is relaxed. In the summer the rooftop pool and bar is crowded with a mix of people and don't be surprised if you spot a celeb.... No cameras are allowed! Soho House is just a few blocks from Alexanderplaz. A tip about a place to visit is the very old cementary/park on the corner opposit the hotel. It feels like the time has been standing still with a lot of very old tombstones, even though there are a few new ones. Take a walk along the path and enjoy the tranquility in the middle of the metropolis of Berlin!

As every Soho building in the world, either it's in NYC London or in Berlin, its' always such amazing feeling surrounding you every time, Soho House Berlin is very retro industrial chic, you can see the elements of the pre communist era several places in the hotel, I also find something massively film noir-ish with the whole place. Love the vintage furniture's and the view is rather sexy than poor, try the rooftoop bar and their exquisite Mojito while you enjoying the view to perhaps Europe's most dynamic city. Instead of using the expression Boho chic from the nearby district of Prenzlauer Berg ,I will instead baptize this place very "Soho chic"

What an amazing hotel the mixture of retro and modern chic is amazing. The room had brilliant little touches from a nespresso machine and homemade cookies to a vast selection of 'Cowshed' products. The hotel was located very near to the heart of Berlin and was easy to find from the airport when using the train systems. The spa was extremely relaxing and the restaurant was excellent. If we ever return to Berlin we would definitely stay here.

This was our first visit to Berlin and we were very happy with this hotel. We love exploring cities by foot so the location was fine for us. It is on a busy road but our room was very quiet with no traffic noise. The best for me was the amazingly comfortable bed and the luxurious linen. The pillows are divine - and we are very fussy about pillows. I meant to take a note of the make to see if I could order some. The bathroom was really well stocked with toiletries and essentials in case you had forgotten. The shower was huge and the bath a nice treat. The lighting was a bit dark in the bathroom but otherwise it was great. We really enjoyed drinks at the bar which was always busy but still provided a quick and friendly service. We ate in the restaurant one evening. It was OK, nothing particularly special. Overall a great hotel
"So (ho) fabulous!"

Wow, what a fantastic hotel - definitely one of the best I've ever stayed in, if not the best. From the minute you walk through the door (in fact even looking at the exterior) you know it's going to be special. I couldn't believe it when I saw my room. The attention to detail is incredible, from the retro radio to the range of shower gels on offer. The interior design and furnishings are beautiful. I want to live here! Breakfast on the top floor in the morning was great - go for the avocado and poached egg, it was so delicious I had it twice. Great views from the roof, too (I didn't try out the pool). If I had one gripe it was just that the lights could have been a little stronger in the room at night, but that's really the only negative thing I can say. Altogether it was an amazing experience staying here and really made our weekend in Berlin extra special.
