Concierge had our keys ready for our Saturday arrival. One bedroom apartment worked great for our week stay. Location was less than four blocks from the convention center.

"Extended Stay on Georgia"
The building is quite secure, safe neighborhood, there is grocery store within 1 block, and lots of restaurants close to the apartment. Trolley and bus stops are within a block or two. Room was clean and amenities all in good working condition. The location is convenience to access everything you might want to see or do is great!

"Beautiful Condo, Perfectly Located"
This is a spacious, newly remodeled 2 bedroom condo on the 34th floor with spectacular views. Full kitchen, 2 bath, free parking and free Wi-Fi. Perfectly located a few short blocks from shopping and restaurants. A few blocks from lovely Stanley Park. The condo even had a washer and dryer. The condo was so roomy compared to a hotel. I would definitely book this place again.

"Nice"
This is a great place if you are planning to stay for a longer period of time. They do not clean your room, make your beds and give you clean towels every day like in a regular hotel. This is more like a rental aparment place. I can say that the location is great. Close to stores, and restaurants in Downtown. Each apartment will look a bit different depending on the owner. So every stay might be a little bit different. For the price and location i think its a nice place. free wifi and complementary parking if you plan to rent a car!

Stayed four days to attend a family graduation. The apartment and parking stall made this a great base. Enjoyed walking to many places in the city. Close to shopping on Robson and yet not too far to walk to Gastown. Did not really encounter any hotel staff.

"Vancouver"
Location just off Robson St was excellent. Room was outstanding. All kitchen items were present. We could walk to shopping and restaurants. Mass transit was a short walk away. Museum was about six blocks. Stanley Park was about a short mile from the apartment. Hop-on, hop-off tour buses were about two blocks away.

"Nice downtown spot"
The apartment was clean and spacious, on the 26th floor with views of the water, and a full kitchen. It was advertised as two bedrooms, but I'd really say "1 and a half", because there was an air vent connecting the two bedrooms - ALL sound travels between the rooms, completely eliminating any semblance of privacy! Don't think you can get away with just being quiet in bed -- each bedroom can hear *every single thing* in the other.

"Great location, close to supermarket and downtown"
Great place for longer stays, however it is important to point out that it is not a hotel. We were expecting for a nice hotel like experience, but we found an empty apartment like feeling. The room that we were assigned had no decorations, was very empty looking and not very clean. In addition, the dinning table chairs had cigarette burns and the overall appearance of the apartment was not very good. Staff is super nice, and responded to our complaints in a timely and corteous manner. At the end, we switched rooms and we loved the new room, it had amazing city and mountains view. Still, I would recommend this apartments if you are looking for something cheaper than a hotel and with a kitchen, but don't expect a hotel like feeling from your stay.

"Good location, but bring your own coffee"
This was a great alternative to a hotel in a great location. The apartment was clean, with a well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. It was bit too warm though even though we had all the heat off. Check in was a bit confusing and the concierge's demeanor left a lot to be desired. We were disappointed that there was no coffee or sugar provided. Having said that, the apartment was spacious and bright and the location was fantastic - full service grocery down the block, close to Skytrain and stanley park.

"Great location, but dirty room"
Can only check in between 3-6. Reservation said concierge would assist if checking in other than those times, but they did not know how to do that. Any issues I.e. Key didn't work was told by the concierge to call the after hours number for vancouver extended stay. Concierge was useless. Once into the room, we were happy with it although the floors were filthy. Great location and nice to have in room laundry. Rooms were very tiny, but was all we needed while touring the city.

Nice place but you need to bring your own shampoo, coffee tea etc. Apparently you also need to arrange housekeeping before you book otherwise beds and bathroom are not cleaned. I was unaware of this so must have missed that detail when booked.

"Family Reunion in Vancouver!"
08/23/15 Sonny T Sydney, Australia
I reserved three rooms for a family reunion. Each of the 2 room with ensure (Level 20 and Level 25) were fantastic! Fully self contained kitchen along with washing machine/dryer. Location of restaurants only one block away! The free WI-Fi was fast and the staff could not do enough for you. Special mention to Salena Gao who made my family stay so incredible...thank you again!! A hint when using the shower...pull down on the bath tap nozzle to activate the flow of water from the shower!!

"Home away from home during our 9-month stay in Van"
08/19/15 Milly P Dubai, United Arab Emirates
I stayed in the Residences on Georgia for nine months with my mum and brother while I was at a school in Vancouver for two semesters. This review comes a couple months late, but I haven't forgotten how great our stay was. It took some getting used to in the beginning. When we first arrived the bedrooms seemed very small, it was quite hot at night even with a portable AC unit (though September in Van is usually hot - opening the windows helped!) and the cable TV was extremely outdated. But we quickly got used to the bedrooms, Vancouver became cold in no time and we bought a Google Chromecast for movie watching. Wifi was updated to a super-high speed in every suite while we were there. The two-bedroom had almost everything we needed. The beds in our suite were really comfortable too. Manjeet and the housekeeping team were great! They fitted in a desk and chair for me and were happy to bring extra dishes/pans when we asked. We also spent Christmas in VES, and one of the maintenance men helped us cut our first real Christmas tree from Ikea. Staff are really great and friendly - Matthew, Susan & Salena are very prompt responding to emails and following up on things. When we moved out Matthew helped us a lot - thanks again! The security guards are also nice and happy to help. Our suite was cleaned once every two weeks which was perfect. The location was great - Coal Harbour is a really nice part of Downtown; safe, with bus stops and grocery stores/all shopping really close by. You can also hear the nine o'clock cannon every night. Because the location is ideal the rooms are quite expensive, but Susan gave us a discounted rate because we stayed so long. Still much cheaper than hotels in the area, though. I may be wrong but the Palisades building (right next door) is slightly cheaper and still nice (from the outside, anyway). If you need a quiet space for working, the meeting rooms are usually free - they were a great place for studying! There's a gym in the building but the equipment isn't very good; there's a Steve Nash Fitness World one block away though. All in all, VES worked really well for us and was perfect for our first time in Vancouver. It felt like home!

"A lovely change from hotels"
08/10/15 lovegeog Solihull, United Kingdom
We stayed in the 10th floor corner property with two bedrooms. After much travelling, packing and unpacking of cases, it was lovely to settle in, unpack (plenty of storage) and have a lounge to sit in at night. The apartments are lovely and very well equipped; the bedrooms are small but we were out all day so just needed a comfy bed to sleep in. It was hot during our stay, but the air con cooled down the lounge and one bedroom perfectly; the other bedroom was bearable and didn't stop our friends from sleeping. With the blinds fully closed we didn't find the light coming in early too much of a problem - no worse than our curtains at home. On site parking is a plus. You can walk to the waterfront and main shopping areas, there are plenty of places to eat breakfast within a block or two, and nice restaurants a short walk away. The people on reception were welcoming and helpful; they attended to a faulty light very quickly.

"great place during a family holiday"
08/05/15 ArvinLee Indonesia
stayed in the penthouse for 24 days. likes. 1. even though we check in pretty late, the check in package was ready. so it was a fast and easy check in. 2. spacious units, with AC, a big ++++ consider how hot this summer is. 3. washer dryer, big +, and kind enough to provide us with enough detergent and bounce for 1 load of laundry . 4. well stocked ,kitchen (could be better, if they have a wine opener :-D) 5. comfortable beds 6. underground parking. 7. great location 8. amazing view!!!! cant beat the view from the top balcony. 9. wifi well, a bit picky points, nothing major. 1. no holding room for suitcases, considering we had a red eye flight a (cant really blame them, since it was at the mercy of the apartment management, but thanks Matthew for helping looking into this) 2. limited tv channels 3. some of the lighting were off, and the door to laundry room was broken. was resolved in few days 4. fitness centre is dated. some of the cardio machines are not functioning well. 5. no late check out (apparently due to high occupancy that weekend) love this place! will definitely come back again and recommend this place to my friends who are visiting vancouver

"Good location, but wouldn't stay in the summer."
07/29/15 aussiedreamer2 Brisbane
This apartment was perfectly adequate for us, we were there late May and the weather was stunning. We are fortunate that it wasn't too warm, there's just no way that the small (noisy) portable ac would ever cope. We tried to use it but gave up. I have to agree with the need for block out curtains. Having arrived after a very long international flight and fighting jetlag we had real trouble sleeping. We were also disappointed in the size of the rooms, but no big deal, we were mostly out. And the location was terrific as we love to walk everywhere, the parking was also very handy.

"3 nights Vancouver extended stay in July 2015"
07/28/15 Gruffy10
Spent 3 nights at the Vancouver extended stay apts. pros: great location, clean rooms, full kitchen. Cons: unfortunately all the pros do not outweigh the major downside of this hotel. All the rooms, especially the bedrooms had blinds that did absolutely nothing to block out the natural light from entering rooms. The purpose of a vacation is to unwind and relax and none of us had a good nights sleep because it was so bright in our rooms. I woke up in the middle of the night at 5am, yes 5 am to bright skys. Even in the middle of the night, the city lights alone serves as a big night light in our rooms even with the cheap blinds closed. This hotel needs to replace all their blinds with "black out blinds" that nearly all hotels have. Because of this, I can't recommend this hotel unless you don't mind the brightness of the rooms while trying to sleep. I told the front desk and she said that is a common complaint. I would only stay here again if they replace all the cheap blinds with blackout curtains.

"Checked Out 1 Day Early to get out of there!"
07/16/15 Pinetree12345 Canada
Terrible 10th Floor Corner Unit Air Conditioners in Apartments do not reduce air temperature in bedrooms in the summer. 3 Sleepless nights. Best to book in a place where the owners care about the experience of the renters instead of a small management company who could care less and is not accountable to its customers or its investors/condo owners. The worst experience ever in customer service and in any vacation that we have ever taken. If for some reason you do book with this management company- ask for black out blinds as the city is bright and the summer sunset is very late past 10pm. Be sure to clean up your kitchen well as the little ants will invade.

"A wonderful month at our temp home in Vanc downtown"
07/02/15 mubeicai Vancouver, Canada
We recently relocated BC Vancouver, stayed whole month of June at Vancouver Extended Stay. As everyone knows, summer season is the peak season in Vanc, we feel so glad to find this place to stay with reasonable price. Location is central of Vancouver downtown, almost everything is reachable within walking distance. Customer service is great, Manager Matthew is a very nice and warm hearted young man, his response about email or phone-call is always prompt. Maintenance service is good as well, things could be repaired and solved quickly. We stayed at a one bedroom apartment at 7th floor, the room condition is good, well maintained, clean and cozy makes you feel like home. Underground parking is included in the room rate, for a place like downtown, parking could be essential and expensive. Bi-weekly housekeeping is included in the room rate as well, cleaner will clean the room, change the towels etc. Something needs to be improved: Facilities at fitness room is very limited, feel crowded and full if there is more than 4 persons in the room at the same time. Sometimes Wi-Fi is not stable.

"Top floor penthouse upgrade"
06/02/15 Seadaz Newman, Australia
We booked a two bedroom apartment with a small balcony for the almost week prior to our Alaskan cruise. We booked it as it was self contained and even had washing machine and dryer. We arrived late after Rocky Mountaineer train arrived. Collecting the keys was easy, we did get a bit lost swapping over to the other building - there are two apartment buildings. We had to down and through carpark and into other buildings and them up. All good once figured out. We were so surprised to find ourselves on the top floor in what must have been a penthouse - it ended up being a 3 bedrrom, 2 bathroom apartment, with the biggest balcony you have seen - we loved the balcony - so much space, the views were fantastic, lots of different balcony furniture avail up there, even a bbq (which we didn't use). Issues - there were a few minor issues - these we wrote on the checkin form - so a few lights were blown, just needed new globes, the front door handle kept falling off. (Inside apartment) and the safe didn't work - didn't seem to have power. These didn't really affect us at all, we just our stay here. There is an Urban Goods just around the cnr, we walked with our luggage to the cruise terminal at Canada Place, we walked to the large shopping mall also - everything is nearby. There is a Tim Horton, subway, Pink Elephant Thai restaurant just across the road from Urban Foods. Would recommend Vancouver Extended Stay - Residences On Georgia to people staying in Vancouver for awhile who want a more homely accommodation instead of a hotel. In fact have already recommended to friend travelling next year. Thank you Vancouver Extended Stay.
