This is a great place if you are planning to stay for a longer period of time. They do not clean your room, make your beds and give you clean towels every day like in a regular hotel. This is more like a rental aparment place. I can say that the location is great. Close to stores, and restaurants in Downtown. Each apartment will look a bit different […] depending on the owner. So every stay might be a little bit different. For the price and location i think its a nice place. free wifi and complementary parking if you plan to rent a car! We were on the 33 floor and the views from every room were amazing. Great value for comparables in the area. Close to Robson Street shopping and the Vancouver Convention Center.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Location just off Robson St was excellent. Room was outstanding. All kitchen items were present. We could walk to shopping and restaurants. Mass transit was a short walk away. Museum was about six blocks. Stanley Park was about a short mile from the apartment. Hop-on, hop-off tour buses were about two blocks away.Genuine Expedia guest review
This was an outstanding place to stay. Great location beautiful 2 bedroom apartment. People were all so gracious. We all had a wonderful stayGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Perfect position in Vancouver"
We enjoyed our stay - good facilities and close to everything. Staff very helpful and friendlyGenuine Expedia guest review
"Nice downtown spot"
The apartment was clean and spacious, on the 26th floor with views of the water, and a full kitchen. It was advertised as two bedrooms, but I'd really say "1 and a half", because there was an air vent connecting the two bedrooms - ALL sound travels between the rooms, completely eliminating any semblance of privacy! Don't think you can get away with […] just being quiet in bed -- each bedroom can hear *every single thing* in the other. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Good location, but bring your own coffee"
This was a great alternative to a hotel in a great location. The apartment was clean, with a well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. It was bit too warm though even though we had all the heat off. Check in was a bit confusing and the concierge's demeanor left a lot to be desired. We were disappointed that there was no coffee or sugar provided. Having […] said that, the apartment was spacious and bright and the location was fantastic - full service grocery down the block, close to Skytrain and stanley park. "Great location, but dirty room"
Can only check in between 3-6. Reservation said concierge would assist if checking in other than those times, but they did not know how to do that. Any issues I.e. Key didn't work was told by the concierge to call the after hours number for vancouver extended stay. Concierge was useless. Once into the room, we were happy with it although the floors […] were filthy. Great location and nice to have in room laundry. Rooms were very tiny, but was all we needed while touring the city. Nice place but you need to bring your own shampoo, coffee tea etc. Apparently you also need to arrange housekeeping before you book otherwise beds and bathroom are not cleaned. I was unaware of this so must have missed that detail when booked.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Overall a good place"
11/11/14 Anonymous2014s Seattle, Washington
Check in was somewhat long, and the FOB we needed to park the car didn't work. We were not able to open the parking gates, stairwell or elevators. As a result, we got stuck in the elevator waiting for it to go back to the ground floor because we couldn't push any buttons. Frustrating experience, and it took us 3 times of going back to the lobby before it was corrected. The apartment style was nice and quiet, however it seemed a waste of space for all the rooms. I liked the kitchen and living room, but the bedroom was pretty small and the extra furniture should be removed for more space. The bed was okay, but after 3 days we felt sore after waking up. It wasn't horrible, but not very comfortable either. Internet was not showing up on the floor I was staying on, but we were able to connect to a different floor's wifi. Connections seemed inconsistent, but it was free. Overall the place was clean, bright, had great views, and felt like a good "home base" to come back to after being out all day. We also
"Just perfect for a Vancouver stay"
Great spot and views spectacular. Rooms are clean and have everything you need for a long or short stay. Rooms are getting a little wear and tear but other than that perfect. We will be back and will refer other too.

I spent 3 nights at this apartment (The Residence On Georgia) towards the end of my trip to Canada. Even though we arrived on a Saturday, we were able to check in with no problems (even though the office was technically closed, according to the confirmation e-mail I received prior to my arrival. The apartment I was allocated was on the 31st floor, with expansive views of the harbour, the mountains, and downtown. It was quite large in size and modern. Having said that, some parts of the apartments were in need of repair. Location was good. Even though it was situated on West Georgia St, parking was not an issue thanks to the underground car park with complimentary parking for the duration of the stay. The apartment was within walking distance to most attractions and restaurants, and if you are keen, a good stroll or bike ride to Stanley Park. All in all, a very enjoyable stay and I wish I have enough money to purchase such a lovely apartment!!!!!!!
"A Nice Place to Stay in Vancouver"

The location was fabulous! We were able to walk everywhere. We had a two bedroom unit at 1200 West Georgia and had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation. Everyone was very nice and management was quick to respond to the two (minor) issues we had with our condo. All in all, a great, modern, safe place to stay in Vancouver. I tend to be finicky when it comes to where we stay and we really liked the West Georgia condo. My only suggestion would be that the condo could use a minor spruce up (a new coat of paint, new caulking and a good cleaning in those hard to reach places).

33 floor had a large balcony and amazing views from every room of the condo. It would have been nice to have some chairs on the balcony, but we made due by using the dining room chairs. Excellent location for shopping and dining.
What a great location in heart of downtown, great shops and cafés within a block. Our apartment was on 33 floor with outstanding views of the water for almost 180 degrees. Clean and well serviced provided excellent accommodation for our stay. Ms Kelly provided wonderful service when we arrived on Saturday afternoon and had the wifi up and running in next to no time. Would recommend Vancouver extended stay to all my friends.
"Perfect could not fault"

Stayed here with my husband and three daughters while visiting vancouver for my sons wedding. We had a two bedroom deluxe. The views from the balcony were breathtaking even if my husband was terrified. Everything you could possibly want was in the apartment and when a fuse went there was a man sent to fix it within an hour. I tried an apartment for a change from hotels and was so glad. I had family visiting for the wedding from Toronto staying in a nearby hotel and we were able to meet daily in apartment to make plans, have a beer or just hang out as if we were in our own home. The location is fantastic, right in the centre of Vancouver and my daughters who had never been in Vancouver before soon found all the best shops and meet friends who have also moved to Vancouver. As my son is now a married man living in Vancouver I will definitely be back to these fantastic apartments when visiting.
"Vancouver Extended Stay is the best extended stay in Vancouver!"
08/22/14 Lyle W Washington DC, District of Columbia
Having recently transferred to Vancouver, I had the pleasure of staying at the Vancouver Extended Stay for over two months while waiting to move into our new house. The accomoadations were fantastic and the customer service was phenominal. The location is perfectly situated within walking distance to tons of restaurants, stores, banks, supermarkets, etc. Even Stanley Park is a short walk away. Many thanks to Susan, Salena, and Kristin who made our stay pleasant and welcomed us into our new city like we were family.
"Skip This Place!"
08/18/14 TravelerCT2014 Tulsa, Oklahoma
Let me begin by saying we were pleased with the central location of the building and the apartment furnishings. They were perfect to meet our needs. We also understand this is an extended stay property and not operated like a traditional hotel. However, skip this place if you plan to stay over the weekend. There is NO ONE available to contact if you have any issue. Here are some of the issues that made our stay very unpleasant: Concierge Service: Following the printed directions mailed to us, we attempted to enter the building from West Alberni to use the ramp for our luggage. The concierge insisted we enter from West Georgia and climb a dozen stairs with our luggage. We even buzzed him a second time and explained we had large amounts of luggage. No luck. I find it hard to believe he couldn't accommodate us since it was their handicapped entrance and where we were directed to enter. When our room was assigned to us in the other building, he suggested we take our luggage back down the stairs and enter the second building from Georgia and again climb a dozen stairs. Ridiculous! Room Temperature: It was unseasonably warm during our stay. Unfortunately, the curtains and blinds had been left open and the portable air conditioner was off allowing the apartment to heat up to an unbearable temperature. We had to leave the apartment for hours and still had difficultly getting it cooled off enough to sleep comfortably. Bedroom fans would have been a tremendous help, but it was the weekend. No Response to Calls: Probably the greatest frustration was that we tried multiple phone numbers to reach anyone that could assist us and left messages. Our last attempt was the emergency number. We were later told that number was just to report a flood or fire. No one ever returned our calls Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday. All of these issues could have easily been resolved with better concierge service or someone on call that would deal with an issue, such as providing fans. From my perspective, the management response was not adequate. Our experience was not good and we could not recommend it to anyone. It was a frustrating and uncomfortable experience.

Good downtown location, excellent security. No central AC. Management unresponsive to service requests such as TV does not work, overflowing toilet, etc. "It's a holiday" when told of toilet issues. Maintenance requests must be submitted by e-mail for attention the next business day.
