"Quiet, comfortable, nice breakfast"
This place is a gem. The owners are very friendly and the rooms are bright and clean. There is a backyard with friendly animals that my children very much enjoyed. We will return if in the area again.

"Not too bad"
Unable to contact due to two year old phone number listed on Not hadr to find once we got directions from someone in town. Bathroom needed some attention smelled and had some kind of gunk/rust on toothbrush holder. Owner sets a nice table and serves a good breakfast. Overall adequate. Would stay again if pressed.

"nice b&b in Waterford"
This is a nice b&b not too far from Waterford downtown. The owners are very friendly. Breakfast options are many, and all yummy. the pub across the street offers dinner. Great choice if you want to enjoy a pint or two without worrying about driving back home...

"Fantastic, warm Irish Hospitality"
If you are going to Waterford then Ashleigh House B & Bis a must, even if you were not planning to stay - detour. From the moment we walked in and greeted by Phyllis, offering a much needed beverage and apple pie it was all first class. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The breakfast - divine. Would go back to Waterford to stay with Phyllis again. It is a must to stay more than 1 night. The best of warm Irish hospitality that was not matched elsewhere.

Stayed here one night recently with my mum. By far one of the best B&B's i have ever stayed in. We booked it at short notice but received a very friendly welcome on arrival. Room was really nicely decorated and tidy and beds were lovely and comfortable. Great options for breakfast the next morning. Had a delicious full irish breakfast with freshly made homemade brown bread which was to die for!! The owner was so nice and friendly to us also, couldn't have been nicer, was just a pleasure to stay here!!

"The best Bed and Breakfast I've ever stayed in."
07/27/15 Faith M Jacksonville, Florida
My family of four have just taken a wonderful trip to Ireland. Out of all the bed and breakfasts we stayed in, this one is by far the best of all of them. Phyllis was so helpful as to places to go and things to see. She also went out of way to help us with our sleeping arrangements and calling the cab when needed to go into town. There were several choices for breakfast, such as pancakes, instead of just the traditional irish breakfast (which was still awesome). And to say, my children were so happy to interact with their dogs (Molly was the favorite) in the back yard. My husband loved the fact that the pub was right across the street. And I have to give credit to the husband for the most beautiful landscaped yard I had seen all week. The beds were also very comforable! Over all, this is by far the best place to stay in Ireland!

"Best stay in Ireland!"

My husband and I recently traveled to Ireland for our honeymoon. We decided to try a bed and breakfast for the first time and we couldn't be happier with that decision. Everything about the Ashleigh House was perfect for us. The hosts, Phyllis and TJ, were wonderful. Phyllis offered several "insider" local suggestions to keep us busy and had great conversations with us. It is apparent that they both get joy out of their business and care about their guests. Our room was very large and comfortable compared to our other Ireland destinations. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

"The quintessential B&B!"

We could not have asked for a better hostess for our stay! Phyllis helped us get settled, gave us fabulous recommendations for lunch, and truly welcomed us to treat her home as our own for the night, encouraging us to enjoy the backyard and play with her dogs as we wished. Breakfast was the best we had on the entire 10 day trip! The only negative is that the location is in the middle of nowhere. It is a 10 minute drive to get anywhere (easy driving, no traffic or difficult directions), but it's not a B&B where you can walk home from dinner.

"Ashleigh House - just like home."

This B&B is a great place to rest and relax. Host Phyliss will make you feel right at home. I would recommend arriving during reasonable daylight hours, though the hosts will accommodate later arrivals. The full Irish breakfast is delicious. Don't miss the award winning brown bread and homemade marmalade. They only drawback is that there is one pub down the street (walking distance), but nothing else. It is a short drive into Waterford.

"Friendliest B&B around"

2 couples spent 1 night as part of an 8 day trip across Ireland. We arrived at an odd time but we spoke w/ Phyliss and she assured us that we take our time to enjoy the rest of Wateford. Rooms were wonderful and she even allowed us to walk in her backyard to admire the lovely pond and animals. Top notch breakfast to include her award winning brown bread! Walked across the street for a late night drink at the Holy Cross Pub...

"Attention to detail"

This was a quiet, clean and comfortable B&B a short drive in to Waterford. The hosts were friendly, helpful and knowledgable of the surrounding area. There were things like; proper shampoo and shower gel in supermarket bottles (not in those tiny hotel bottles), 2 hand towels, an information booklet, a separate TV/ guest room. The bedroom and en suite were a good size. There was parking on site. There was the lovely Irish breakfast plus homemade fruit salad and homemade scones. There was a Pub across the road for meals, but we preferred the Viking Hotel on the other side of the roundabout for tasty meals.

"Our stay at Ashleigh House"
06/27/15 Jancie122 North Redington Beach, Florida
We enjoyed our stay at Ashleigh House. Our room was large and comfortable. Phyllis is a lovely, personable hostess, providing amenities such as heated sheets and a "power" shower head, both of which we very much enjoyed and appreciated after a week of travel. Definitely check out Holy Cross pub/restaurant across the street. The food and atmosphere were excellent, and it was so nice to be able to walk to it.
