"Cozy, clean, convenient and welcoming!"

I stayed here for several nights and would highly recommend it to anyone who is on a tight budget and wants to be close to public transportation and other conveniences! I had a private room and bath during my entire stay, so I can not speak for the dorm rooms. I stayed in 1 room by myself for the most part, but then a friend came and joined me so we moved to a bigger room (the only one w/ the balcony). The staff was eager to help and accommodate my room changes and my last minute booking changes as I was in and out of the city a great deal because of work. Overall the place is simple, modern and given that it's right on a busy street, there is some traffic noise, but having stayed elsewhere in Bangkok, it's just a noisy city in general. If you're a light sleeper, request a room on the backside of the building. The back side faces an abandoned old high-rise that was never completed. You may hear some of the dogs there barking at night. All in all - it's a nice, clean and comfortable place to stay - but the friendliness of the staff is what really makes it great I think!
"super friendly hosts"

Bangkok Hub is a freshly renovated hostel on an typical block house on Charoenkrung Road (with its Chinese flair), spreading over five levels. Private rooms and dorms are to be found. The location is very convenient, with public transportation at hand (BTS station and the Central Pier on the Chao Praya are just around the corner) and great street food (Bangrak) scene. But, undoubtedly, the very best of Bangkok Hub are its host. Both Mon and Chai were extremely friendly, and always happy to assist you in. They are full of interesting projects concerning the hostel. I wish them good luck!

My time at Bangkok Hub was one well spent. The place is awesome and is freshly renovated. My room is very clean and cozy and the staff there are those of the super friendly type. On top of that, they all speak English! well! Its location is also very key; very close to the skytrain and the pier. and the tuk tuk is just around the corner. A stroll from the hostel along Charoenkrung Road, also gives you a glimpse of old days fusioned with new age Bangkok. Lots of food stalls around there are available until late night. Great choice for those who want to explore the city to the fullest!

- Very noisy street - no sleep at night - Photos on the websites ( i.e. booking.com) are not real, ( like from design software ) They show the future look. - The owner offers the rooms although actually the hostel is under construction - you feel like on the construction site - The room is unfinished but the price is as for fully equipped room. - No keys - no possibility to lock the doors, - wifi not working - Dirty towels + 5 minut walk to sky train and to the river ( Chao Praya - Sathorn ) + The stuff is welcoming and helpful + Everything is brand new ( no smells from canalization and A/C)
