"Great Value Mumbai Airport Hotel"
I would recommend this hotel if you are just stopping over for a night between flights and don't plan to leave the hotel. The neighborhood is not good....but they picked me up at the airport and dropped me in front of the door of the hotel, and also did the same bringing me back to the airport, so you don't have to experience the neighborhood except […] driving through it. Considering the prices of hotels in Mumbai, the room price (which includes round trip airport transfer and an Indian breakfast) strikes me as a deal. The room was okay--what I would expect for an inexpensive hotel, clean enough, comfortable enough, big enough and with room service and a TV. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Reminds you of slumdog millionaire"
The hotel is close to airport. Complimentary shuttle is good. But the bedsheets are stained. Air conditioning is weak. Overall condition is terrible. Fortunately, I am staying there for a few hours waiting for my flight at midnight since the airport does not allow waiting for more than 4 hours after check in.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Worst value for money I have experienced in India"
To beginn with, I booked and got confirmed one double room with airport pick up a few months in advance. Then - just to make it very sure - I reasked for confirmation within 24 hours before our arrival at the hotel, what I got. But when we arrived at the airport there was no pick up waiting for us. So we had to call the hotel with our non-indian SIM […] Card (which costed us a fortune!) and wait for the promised pick up service in the middle of the night. Once the guy arrived he quickly apologized and insisted on tip. What we stupidly gave. Once arriving at the hotel we were shocked at heraing that there was no double room for us. I showed the printed confirmation to the guy from reception, whereon he said they would arrange it. After half an hour wait - meanwhile it was 2 AM - they finally gave us one room. What a disappointment! It was the worst room I could have ever immagined! Not at all the way it looked on the net! It was grimy, stinky and dirty and had no window! The sheets were obviously not washed and the bathroom was plenty with bugs! The soap we found in the bathroom had been already used and put back in the paper. Same thing with shampoo and shower gel: they all had been already used by some previous guests and put back in the basket for us. We immediately complained that this wasn't what we had paid for (We paid USD 55 for one night, what equals RS 3410!) But they rejected our disappointment. Pricest and worst hotel I stayed at during 2 months stay in India!STAY AWAY Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Please remove this Hotel from you list"
I always assume Hotels.com provide some level of guarantee about the quality of the hotels listed. This was a terrible hotel not close at all from the International Airport, during high traffic hours, which is almost the whole day in Mumbai, it may take about 1 hour to reach the place, which is located on the back of a Chinese restaurant, on the second […] floor. Very bad experience for me. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Reasonable rate close to the airport"
The hotel staff were good and courteous. But the room was neat. Had it been cleaned properly it would have been better. The bed was tidy. The furnitures and sofa (inside the room) had lot of dust. If they keep the rooms clean it would have been a much better experience.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good location 4 airport and stations for S Mumbai"
The 2nd floor rooms are posher than the 1 st floor. I preferred the inside room as there was less traffic noise. AC and wifi work. I checked out at 12 noon. Hotel made available a room to shower before free ride to the airport. Free ride only one way and RS 200 for additional ride. Cheaper rooms are simple and the tiles in the bathroom could do with […] a scrub. Toast and omelettes available + Indian curry breakfast. The hotel froze my water bottles daily. Mainland China do room delivery with plates and cutlery. Room service from hotel is also available. Bottled Water available at 1/2 price from shops below. 2 Hard Rocks close by. Dharavi tour. Mumbaimagic tours, juhu is an experience but a good miss. Elephants caves was amazing. Arya Bhavan, Matunga Rly Stn for S Indian food flower market, Swati, Tardeo Road for street food and near Mani Bhavan ( Ghandi museum). Tuk Tuk tip: try to get a rickshaw in the direction you are going. If the driver is happy to get to your desternation get in then ask him to reset the metre. If he does not get out and try again. Taxis want to set fares though I found some happy to use the metre. Pre paid taxis from stations and airports also work. Carry small notes. Local airlines 15 kg hold and 7 kg carry on. Go to Hyderabad Taj hotel Central and a coach to Hampi and coach/ train to Goa palolim & n beaches better. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
This hotel does not have anything good in it.1.There is no proper parking facility.2.The reception is very rude.3.On entering the room it was stinking of urine.4.The second room which I could see was two separate beds whereas my requirement was 1 double bed.5.On my resistance I was told that you may choose another hotel and no money will be refunded […] since it is by Hotels.com 6 I paid 2000 etc above the 2600 (normal tarrif was 4500) for a delux room ,however my expectations were shortlived as new room as also 2.5/5 bed not confortable,TV not working etc. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Good for theAirport"
We arrived late and the taxi driver had to use his horn to get attention. Eventually we were let in. The hotel is on the first floor of a building surrounded by scaffolding in a scruffy area. Once in we were pleasantly surprised to find a comfortable, if small, room. The hotel was cheap and close to the airport, but I wouldn't stay there otherwise as […] the location would make it difficult to get to the Mumbai sights. "Terrible Hotel with mouldy rooms"
I staid in that hotel for around three days. At the first day they offered me a mouldy room with horrible funiture and without any window to open. As a result of my complain they offered me one dinner for compensation. The dinner was awful: Tandoori chicken which was half burned and half row. Instead of getting this dinner complimentary I was forced […] to pay it at the end with some discount. Be very careful when you choose this hotel. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Its More like a Guest House"
09/19/14 HappyR70 Chandigarh, India
The hotel was suggested to me by a colleague who had stayed here earlier. Stayed for 2 nights. The hotel pick up was efficient as I did not have to wait even though my flight was delayed. The locality where the hotel is situated did not seem upmarket as small shops dot the area. The approach to the hotel is not very good. The room however was nice and the bathrooms were clean. The room service was prompt and they met the timelines that they commited. The buffet breakfast had a minimal spread and so was a disappointment. The Wifi worked fine. The hotel being very close to the metro track, you get frequent bursts of train noise. The airport drop was organized as promised and on time.

I travelled to mumbai from goa for my honeymoon I reached hotel in night around 1 or 2 AM on 28april 2014 early in the morning . I asked manager that we need a room for one night as our booking starts from next dat 11 AM . The manager told that you have already booked at very low prices from goibibo so you have to pay full price for 6 hours of stay at hotel . The guy at reception is so rude , he even started fighting with me that you can leave or see some other hotel . he even gave me a room with 2 separate single beds and joined them . What the hell ..... The food quality is pathetic , i can;t expect this kind of behaviour from a business hotel .
"over priced and below Average"
08/08/14 sandy463 New Delhi
first of all, please don't even think about taking their standard rooms (they are on 1st floor). Standard rooms are pathetic and feels like cheap railway Dormitory. They stick of Sepage and had 3 or 4 single beds as well. washrooms are broken..dont take them just. Rooms on 2nd floor are new and nicely made, they look and feel new but their service is not worth it, they take long for any house keeping service and couple of Reminders. half time they take request and forget even on reception. once good thing is their wi fi. they have multiple networks availble. their Morning breakfast is useless and i felt like eating cheap supper offered by some neibourhood, there are 3 round tables with 6 chair on each. drinks are served directly from plastic bottels, even if u ask for Brown bread, u get white if u r lucky.....Food quality is OK but presentation is weired. they booked suite for me, did put me in Standard for fir 4 hours then in Delux for a day and then shifted me to Suite however; charged me for Suite all the way. I was getting same hotel in 3 k from clear trip and I ended paying 4k+ later at direct booking. Its not too bad for budget traveller as location is good its just next to metro and on main road. but try and avoid if you have decent budget.
"Shock after shock."
After looking a the website and pics available online, I booked a double standard room one month in advance. I called every week to confirm, and they were absolutely clueless about my booking. Every time I had called, I stressed that we need a double bed, a king size bed. On reaching the hotel, the room looked nothing like what is shown on their website. It had three single beds and was as Spartan as can get. When I went down to discuss the 3 single bed situation with the manager, he suggested I I get a deluxe room. I agreed to pay the extra amount but again no double bed. After a bit or arguing he agreed to give me their suite. The suite is smaller than their deluxe room, has dusty floors and the bath tub hasn't been cleaned over a decade. After booking one month in advance and calling up every week to confirm my booking, I had to go through a 20 minute episode before I finally checked into a room which was over my budget.
"A matter of perspective"
06/29/14 jmart134 Baltimore
I have waited a while before posting this review, to give it the perspective it deserves. My friend and I ended up here after missing a flight to Nepal and failing to secure a hotel with the responsible airline. We picked this hotel from a plastic binder at a counter at the airport, and figured for the price it couldn't be bad while we worked out our new travel plans. (1) Location: This was at the beginning of a 3-week trip, having never been to India, so the first thing that stood out was that this "executive hotel" is located in a very much _not_ business area ~10 minutes from the airport, abutted by airline food suppliers, barely paved roads, and few points of interest within walking/dodging-rickshaw distance of it. For the most part this wasn't an issue because it was a short emergency hotel stay, and we used the complimentary airport transfer that the hotel offered. (2) The room: Not that bad. We stayed on the second floor, and the rooms did look exactly like in the pictures in the aforementioned plastic binder. The bathroom was impeccably clean, and the room was likewise well cared-for, with clean crisp sheets. The A/C wasn't terribly cold, but it worked well enough. There were a fair number of mosquitoes that made their way into our room, so we had to apply bug spray liberally. There was power 100% of the time, and the wi-fi was uninterrupted. Given the circumstances, this is a big plus. (3) Amenities: The service staff were of the highest level of professionalism. I can't stress that enough. They were friendly, attentive, eager to help. They even called our room in the morning to remind us of the complimentary breakfast, as we only had 30 minutes to catch it. The breakfast itself was very good, with an assortment of delicious Indian fare, fresh fruit, tea, coffee, and bottled water. They ensured we had a bottle of water each, the two days we stayed. Moreover, they let me use their front desk phone for what turned into an hour or two of discussions with airline agents. Note: Here, as in almost all sub-5-star hotels in India, the room phones only connect to the front desk, not to external lines, thus necessitating use of the front-desk phone for phone calls. Nevertheless, the service was executive in nearly every sense. Overall, from an American perspective, this hotel would be overpriced by 15-20%. Other hotels in Mumbai that bill themselves in a similar tier (say, Hotel Sankar Residency), offer better amenities and rooms, even discounting the distance from the airport. With more time to choose, I probably would have passed on this hotel and spent the time securing a room at the Hyatt or something similar.

"Avoid rooms on the first floor."
06/12/14 DanielAmyot99 Gatineau, Canada
I got a room on the first floor. To be avoided at all costs. The rooms on the second floor look better (and closer to what is advertised). On the first floor, there is no window (so I don't know where the mosquitoes came from...). The shower is on the wall in front of the toilet bowl (which creates a mess, and the floor becomes slippery all day long). The people around (shuttle, taxi, ...) will screw you any chance they get, and will even expect tip in that context! The location is awful, close to the highway (and very noisy). Quite an unpleasant experience overall, even for this price.
"Worst hotel for the money you pay..."

Mumbai Metro "The Executive Hotel" is the worst hotel I have ever stayed. The room was stinking with cigarette smell. The bathroom was pathetic. The chairs looked like as if some 50 years old. Big NO.
"Rude Staff, Poor Food, unprofessional hotel."
04/25/14 PK_Haridas New Delhi, India
Booked a standard room via cleartrip.com. The website shows pictures of only one room type that is deluxe. When appeared at the hotel the staff allotted the standard which was nothing more than a dormatory. Standard rooms are small and no windows. When i complained regarding the pictures that were shown were not of the room alloted then the staff barked over the customer and said it was the guests fault or the websites fault. The ac of the room was leaking and ther was water inside the room after a few hours. Staff did not answer the call in attempt. The food is not all appealing. The owner is a nice fellow but needs to train his staff and get a little professional.
"poor, disorganised and appalling food"

Landed at Mumbai from Abu Dhabi at approx 0300 hours on 07/02 with wife and 2 children we had booked a double deluxe and were supposed to be picked up from airport by this hotel. Guess what they forgot and the night receptionist tried to argue that 0300 hours on 07/02 meant afternoon, or following day??? (clearly a 24 hour clock was a problem). We made our way there despite being overcharged by taxi from airport. upon arrival our room was not ready. we had to wait while one was found then eventually cleaned. By this stage we were very tired. it was supposed to contain 2 beds, alas there was one. We all squeezed into it too tired to complain at 0530 hours and left it at 0900 hours going for breakfast. I had a boiled egg and something spicy my wife and 2 children didn't eat anything as there was no western options not even toast available. We managed to check out after I handed reception the original booking form, again after another wait, guess what they charged us 3500 rupees!!! This after failing to pick us up (costing 650 rupees), after failing to have a room ready, after giving us the wrong room and not really providing a breakfast. I paid as time was not on our side for our connecting flight and I was too tired to argue the point. They did manage to drop us at the airport with no problem, this was the only part of the service which was okay Please beware using this hotel, I was out of pocket and over charged. No concession was given or offered.
