"Excellent and comfortable"

A very charming hotel (almost) in the heart of the city. Elegant and comfortable suite at a very reasonable price. Great place for a romantic getaway. Almost surprising to find this comfort level. Very comfortable bedding, small sitting area, mini fridge and microwave. Very small closet however. Probably not big enough for a long stay. Lots of very nice shopping and restaurants nearby. Would go there again (and again).

I had the pleasure of staying here recently upon the recommendation of my colleagues. It did not disappoint. The hotel experience exceeded my highest expectations. The grounds are meticulous and evoke a southern French chateau oasis. The rooms are very clean, modern and the beds are so comfortable. Excellent service and overall comfort. I would highly recommend this place over the Sheraton which us overpriced. Maria
"The place to stay when visiting Montreal"

Stayed here on a visit to Montreal with friends. We loved the hotel. The rooms are clean, spacious, and the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast is more than satisfying (great scrambled eggs). We chose this hotel because it is reasonable compared to Montreal (about half the price). A shopping center is across the street, and restaurants are within walking distance. We came to tour Montreal, so we drove about 6 blocks to the subway station. It is about a 25 minute ride to downtown. We purchased a weekend pass at the subway station for $23 a piece and rode the train all weekend. Highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed here 8/31/14-9/2/14. Clean, quiet, comfortable, and luxurious. What more can you ask for? Free parking and free breakfast! If you have a car and don't mind staying outside of Montreal, this is the place to be. It is only about a 20 minute drive into the city. I loved it here and would definitely stay here again. This is my only gripe: we had a brown shopping bag that we didn't notice was missing until the next morning. Our guess is that housekeeping took it thinking it was a bag of garbage since it was in the vicinity of the garbage can. It's a little upsetting, but luckily we didn't have anything in there other than snacks and a couple of brochures. This is the only reason why I gave 4/5 instead of 5/5. Don't keep any of your things anywhere near the garbage can!!!

We stayed here Aug.4-Aug.10,2014 and had a wonderful time. We went to plan for and stay for my daughters wedding. My mom and daughter and I had a lovely two queen bed room for the first two days ;and then I moved into a suite with my husband for the rest of the time. We also had quite a few rooms for the rest of the wedding party and everybody loved their room. Also we really enjoyed the breakfasts ;there was always lots of choice for everyone. The little quaint patios were really nice to sit out on. Overall I would deffinitley recommend this hotel.

I was there last week on a business trip with by boss. We booked 2 rooms for 3 nights. From the hotel website and mostly positive comments, I was looking forward to stay at this hotel. By reading some of the bad things that have happened to people with their cars broken into, I was glad we didn't have a car. We didn't need one because our business was in Laval. When I first entered the hotel I thought it was very beautiful. I was a bit disapointed that an hotel of that standard have nobody to help with luggage and the doors are hard to open with your hands full. Not to mention that they have cobble stone in front of the main entrance. It's nice but they should have thought about Rolling our luggage on that is not easy. So we are at the front desk for check-in and I can't say that the greetings are genuinely friendly. I can't say they are rude but absolutely not people person and probably should not work with customers. A smile is the basic of greeting someone in your hotel, I haven't seen much of that. But...we were there for business mostly. If I had booked there for a vacation, my rating would have been much lower as I was in business mode. I got a room on the first floor and my boss on the 3rd floor. The location of my room was good for me because I smoke and I was close to the outside door. If you are not a smoker and if you don't like noise DON'T BOOK ON FIRST FLOOR! So Noisy!! It's a good thing I had to get up at 6:00AM because if I was on vacation and wanted to sleep it would have been impossible as the first floor is very close to the lobby AND even closer to the breakfast area. The room: Beautiful!!! I didn't check for mold (as some reviews were complaining about) I just didn't see any. The bed was super comfortable and the TV awesome. Samsung flat screen. The Internet was not very efficient though. Some sites I couldn't get to load. If they block some websites they should tell us. As they should tell us about the phone fees. It's a good thing I read the hotel book the first night but in the book, nothing about not being able to access some websites. I was very disapointed to see that the shower head was fixed and I could not take it to avoid getting my hair wet even if they provide a shower cap, I don't use it because it makes my hair flat. Sometimes you just want to freshin' up without having to wash your hair. Every hotel should have a handheald shower head so you can leave it on the hook or not. But again, because it was not a leisure stay, it seems less frustrating. One thing I know, I would go back for business but NEVER for a vacation stay. I think it's too bad because this hotel has All the potential to be one of the best in the area of Greater Montréal and suburbs. They need better staff with smiling faces and fix a few things to accomodate and it would be the best place to stay. The have such a nice terrace outside with a Spa/pool and chairs. It's awesome. I did enjoy the Inside Jaccuzi one evening. I was alone and it felt great. I wanted to go the next night just before bed and at 10:00PM (it closes at 11:00) a bunch of really Young kids were screaming and splashing like it was a pool. It's supposed to be a RELAXING place. Again the staff doesn't check these things. I turned around and didn't go. Another thing that I can't understand. It's not my first hotel with swiping card (far from it). Everyday I had to have my card reprogrammed as it was demagnetized. No it was never near my cellphone or purse magnet. I know these things. But anyhow it was happening. My boss had the same problem and she was further away from the front desk so it was even more frustrating to walk all the way to the elevator from the 3rd floor and back. Maybe they need to have another card system because this one is bad. Bottom line: The pros are the comfort of the bed and beauty of the Inside and out of the hotel. The terrace outside, the Keurig coffee in the room. The nice TV with clear picture (although one channel was not in synch with the sound, I guess the provider is not a good one). Besides the shower head, everything about Inside the room was great. The cons: The staff (you always seems to bother them if you ask something). They look like they are counting minutes to get out of there and they are only there for their paycheck. The Internet is bad for some specific website. The noise I could not live with on a vacation. The shower head not being hand held for me is a big thing. The breakfast is fine but they should not say "gourmet" on their website. It's good and fine but Gourmet? it's false advertising. They have a beautiful lounge with a bar but there is nothing going on there. The bar is there as a furniture but you can't go down and have a drink while listening to piano (they have a beautiful piano that sits there like in a museum but it's never used). I'm still a bit frustrated for not being able to relax more than one night in the Jaccuzi because the staff doesn't make sure it remains a relaxing area and not a playground for kids. It's not about kids, I love kids but there is a time and place and a way of behaving in certain areas. I wanted to relax after a very busy day and just couldn't. My room was paid for so I think I had the right to relax in the Jacuzzi. I didn't bother goint to the front desk as they don't care. So much potential and so beautiful but poorly managed and having experience with public and customers myself, I would not have this staff on my payroll. If the management allows that, it says a lot about them as well.

This was our second time staying here. The hotel is located in a residential/shopping area. It is a diamond in the rough. We found it to be very romantic. The Front Desk was very accommodating, and the rooms were super nice and clean every time. Our sleep was restful with no noise. The breakfast selection and quality was always above expectations as well. The pool is tiny but remains clean. Initially we felt a little unsafe in the area but we did not encounter any issues. Close by there is a huge shopping area (called Metropolis I think) that offered great dinning options. Overall a great stay and we will return again.
"Excellent hotel for reasonable price"

We spent beautiful 10 days in hotel. We were really suprised about the kindness of employees and their support as we were needing something. They always do the best they could, even more then expected. Room was comfortable and totally clean. You can even eat breakfast on the beautiful terrace with good choise of different food. We warmly recommend hotel for those who are visiting Montreal. It is 10-15 minutes walk to first metro station and you can also use not so expensive taxi. We felt almost like at home. Thank you staff! We warmly recommend you accomodation at the hotel. Vlado, Boris and Tanja from Slovenia
"Nice hotel and reasonably price."
Stayed in the Junior Suite for 2 nights for a family of 4. I booked directly on the hotel website and found it cheaper compared with expedia. The hotel was clean and nice but the elevators are a bit dated. Room key are required to access from the back door which made it safe. Plenty of parking. Located right next to McDonalds in case you get hungry at night. Easy access to the highway if heading to Montreal. Lots of shopping plaza's nearby and eateries just 5mins drive away. Very happy with the cleanliness of the rooms. However, the conditioner left on the counter for us has already been used. I quickly asked for a new one with the housekeepers. Breakfast is a selection of scrambled, hard boiled egg, waffles, all sorts of bread, bagel, croissants, banana bread, yogurt, cold cereal, and fruit salad. Not to my liking but it's free. Overall, a good stay at the hotel.
"Luxury and convenience"

We are still at this hotel on a 3 day stay near Montreal. Upon check-in the receptionist, Kayla, helped me to resolve an error that Expedia made when I booked the room. Expedia gave me two rooms and didn't want to refund the room charge, but Kayla advocated for me and resolved the conflict. When we got to our room, we found it to be exceptionally clean and roomy. The large screen HDTV and other amenities are above any I expected for a hotel under $200/night. The breakfast was delicious, and the pool (actually a giant whirlpool), although smaller than a regular pool, is really nice because it is very warm and is surrounded by trees and plants. We definitely will stay here again when we come to Montreal.
