"2 nights in Berlin"

A good, comfortable hostel which is ideal for a short stay in Berlin. Nicely located (right next to the hbf), and is easily within walking distance of many of Berlin's top attractions. Definitely not the place to stay if you're here to party/enjoy Berlin's nightlife, it's a quiet hostel with guests of all ages. All you can eat breakfast for 5.50 euros which I thought was quite reasonable considering how cheap the room was. All in all I'd recommend this place to the budget traveler who is party shy and likes a good night sleep!

Nothing flash, but it was comfortable and situated close to the main train station with easy access to central Berlin. Showers worked fine, beds were comfortable and 24hr reception. Only minor issues are that WiFi is not included in the price and the walls are quite thin so be prepared to bring earplugs - it is a hostel afterall so you can't really expect deathly silence can you? Greeted by Astrid who was very friendly and spoke excellent English. In all, a very pleasant stay.

Stayed at this hostel for two brief nights. The hostel is clean and very functional. The reception area and the cafe area are lovely. Rooms were ok a little warm however it was unusually warm at the time. Only compaint about the room was there is only 2 plug sockets which is a pain in a room for 4 people. Showers were clean however a little far from the room. From my perspective this hostel is excellently located 5 mins walk from Berlin Hauptbahnhof which has excellent connections throughout the city. Great hostel for a quick city break!
"Worst hostel ever"
This hostel is a bad joke : this should be your last option. The réception is ok clean and really nice so you expect something correct. The staff is polite (no more). And here start the joke If you don't take a breakfast no wifi or it's 50c for 15 mn. And it's only on the lobby. I don't if I was in the wrong dorm but it was smelling, the beds are unconfortables ( there is a barre in the middle, I slept on the floor) The common space are the one of the underground of an hotel : not really nice just paint one the concrete walls, the kitchen and bathroom are not dirty but not clean as well... This is not a hostel for me, it's a good refuge.

All is ok for a cheap hotel. Maybe the beds are not the best, but the staff is nice. The WiFi is only included if the breakfast is payed. The location is quite good, next to the main station. Clean rooms.

The haus is a walking distance from Berlin Hbf and to all the attractions in the centrum/mitte. their front desk service is 24 hour, they are helpful, with such efficiency. their room is clean, feel at home, and basic. They do have shower gel/shampoo/conditioner in one. their breakfast is also basic but you got what you need including basic fruit esp if you cannot live without fruit in the morning. i will not hesitate to stay here again.
"Close to Berlin train station"

It was very close to the main Berlin train station & sightseeing spots. Had onsite parking if needed, we stayed in a four bed private room & bath. Quiet surroundings give you a good night's rest. Friendly & helpful staff spoke very good English. Breakfast was average.

Spacious room, good shower, comfortable bed, bike storage. Great central location. Tasty buffet breakfast. Rooms have basic furnishing but it is all you need. We enjoyed our stay here and would stay again.
"A clean, safe, cheerful hostel two steps from Berlin main station"

We slept very well in a four-bed room here. Bathroom very clean and separate from toilet - great! Breakfast was more than adequate (fruit salad, yogurt, cereal, meat, cheese, various breads, eggs, tea and coffee). The location is fantastic: you step out of the station, walk 1 block, turn a corner and you're there. Fits in very well with a Berlin WelcomeCard. We also walked to lots of famous places from the hostel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, gave us advice on restaurants, boat trips, trains. This hostel is part of the protestant church's 'city mission'; I was impressed by the kindness of the staff.
"Not bad for the money"

Wifi cost extra, the breakfast wasn't good, but overall not bad for a night's sleep. We opted for a private room in the sister building to avoid the screams and shouts of all the kids (there were loads). Staff were nice, super-close to the main station. Good off-license across the road. Beds weren't amazing, but it's a hostel so that's expected. Bathroom wasn't great.
