"Fantastic stay close to the Stampede"

We stayed for the stampede in mid July in the Mission room which was absolutely huge and overlooking a little park. The bathroom was amazing, with soaps/shampoos/everything needed. The bed was massive too and very comfy. Drinks were available in the little kitchen outside. As it was boiling, having this gem to come back to, was a lifesaver! We needed the fan on as we get pretty warm easily (cursed Englishness) but were comfy enough. breakfast was plentiful and they accomodated our early arrival which again was very much appreciated. Cracking.

We stayed at Westways during Calgary Stampede. The location is very good, only 10 minute walk to Stampede area, 20 minutes to the city centre, and there are restaurants and a Safeway only two blocks from the B&B. There is free parking in the backyard. Our room (Grandin) was smallish but adequate for 2 nights stay. The breakfast was a hearty affair, and Graham was a great host.
"Lovely B&B in great area"

Stayed for 2 nights whilst travelling Canada visiting family. Jonathan was a great host, made me feel welcome but was also un-intrusive after giving me a map and telling me how I could get into the City. It's about a 20 minute walk to the CBD, but through a really interesting set of neighbourhoods, which made me glad I walked and didn't catch the bus. The room is full of great pictures and ornaments, and the bed was fantastically comfy. The bathroom was clean and well stocked with everything you could ask for and more. The shower itself was fine, albeit a little small and low. At 5 foot 10 I had to bend my knees a bit to get my head under the shower head, but it wasn't a problem at all. Secure, off-road parking round the back was good. I can't comment on breakfast as I slept in very late both days. I have no hesitation in recommending this B&B and will look to book in again if I ever come by this part of the World again.
"Great place to stay"

We have been here early May for 4 nights and it was great. Room is very cozy, shower is very small, but we did not have a problem with that. It is clean and service is good. Breakfast was excellent and Graham is a very nice guy. It is a great place to stay and we would definitely stay there again.
"Great location, Unbeateable Price"

I've stayed here on numerous occasions. Easy access to either the train or a bus direct to the downtown core. Takes me 15 minutes to walk to the Saddledome. Friendly hosts, great breakfasts. The hotels downtown are complete ripoffs in comparison.

my wife and I found Westways very comfortable and clean. The breakfasts were very good. Graham and Jonathan were very friendly and accommodating. We extended our stay 1 extra night and got the larger room on the third floor. It was very nice with a spa and a fireplace. I can't emphasize enough how clean it was!

We stayed here one night and then did a week long drive to Jasper and points in between and then stayed one night again before flying home. This bed and breakfast is very average. It was easy to get to and from the airport. It has a small dining room where all the guests sit at one table. The dining room is very small. The breakfast is average. Nothing special. In fact some of the items were store bought from Costco. The first morning he served a waffle with eggs. I do not care for eggs and asked that my eggs be given to my husband. He did not do this. Oh well. The second time we were there he stood over us and seemed to be in a hurry for us to finish. Very awkward. At other bed and breakfasts we have found the innkeepers very friendly and helpful. This was not the case here. Also, the bathroom towels really needed to be replaced and a better quality would be nice as well.
"Conveniently located and great price."

This is a quaint Edwardian home located a short walk from downtown Calgary. The rooms are small but well appointed in the style of the period so every wall is covered with pictures and nicknacks.... All rooms have en suite bathrooms... some a little oddly configured but when you have an old house and are converting it into a B & B then you have to make some concessions.... The breakfasts are first rate... delightful and well prepared. Dietary restrictions are considered and you will definitely not go hungry. A great value.
"Good value B&B"

A very good B&B, centrally located near downtown Calgary, shopping and restaurants. I received excellent service and a fulfilling breakfast with very nice owners. The house is old and full of character but you would have a hard time finding a complaint about your stay.
"Cozy B&B with great breakfast"

It was our first time in a B&B and it couldn't be better then this. The big plus of a B&B is the personal care. No need to worry about bad personel or cold breakfast, its specially made for you. This B&B is in a 1900 style with everything on it. It's very clean, rooms are cozy. The breakfast is great and the free bicycles where very good for a trip downtown. If you don't like the small talk with the other guests or hosts, don't worry, You have enough privacy.
