My husband and I enjoyed our stay here last week. From the views of the mountains to the kangaroos all over the property, we had a great time. The lady at the reception was very helpful and was very personable- she even remembered our names. The rooms, although slightly less modern than where we typically stay (but par for the area), were very comfortable and clean. I would definitely recommend a visit here!

This hotel us in a great location and everything us in walking distance. The only complaint I had was that the rooms were on the small side and not much wardrobe space. Probably best hotel in Melbourne
"Will definitely stay here again"

Friendly and very helpful service, clean rooms, crisp linen and gorgeous views from the room across to the mountains. Wake up every morning to the magpies warbling and kangaroos are never far away. This is a perfect spot from which to visit the Grampians region.
"Has everything you need"

We stayed here for two nights and found the room clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed for a base while we did some exploring nearby. The owners gave us some great suggestions which worked a treat. We would definitely stay here again. Just a tip though don't try to cut through the grounds of the motel opposite to get to the main street as you will not get a friendly reception.
"We should visit another day ..."

This was just an overnight stay for us and we arrived after reception was closed. We phoned ahead and the proprietor/owner was very helpful. When we arrived we had access to our room and our breakfast was already in the fridge. Bonus: we were given a "welcome" by two kangaroos as we were unloading the car! Pity it was just an overnight stay ... The motel is away from the main highway (quiet through the night) and our room and bed were comfortable and clean. The twilight view of the mountains (from the back door) was stunning yet peaceful... We woke up to the chirping of birds ... The Grampians deserve a longer visit and we would not mind staying at this motel again.

Basic but comfortable rooms with aircon, heating, breakfast facilities (toaster, kettle, crockery), friendly owner, two mins walk to cafés and restaurants. Surrounded by Kangaroos in the evening. A great base if your touring or walking the Grampians

We had a room with two beds - a queen and a single for our daughter. It was perfect with kangaroos out the back door and cockatoos. Cicadas made quite a din but packed up by bed time and this sound was also fascinating for us. Recommendation of dinner at nearby, but separate kookaburra restaurant was also a top tip. We were just out of school holiday peak season and the whole town was charming and quiet. Good local store and coffee shop, plenty of other restauarants too. Walks in the area delightful and very helpful info centre 2km out of town. Can't recommend this motel and area in general enough
"Great for peace and wildlife"

Enjoyed our stay for two nights here. Was a pleasure to find a motel away from the main road, giving us peace and quiet through the night. Lots of wildlife - cockatoos on the outdoor space, kangaroos and cows just out back.
"Great location and great hosts"

It is not new and it is not modern. You get what you pay for. But it is clean and wonderfully located with very helpful, friendly hosts. I had my two grandchildren with me and they loved it - kangaroos in the front and kookaburras to feed out the back.

Spent two fabulous nights there. Host was one of nicest blokes you could meet. Room was excellent. Surroundings brilliant. Spotlessly clean. Kangaroos on front lawn just made it. Getting woken up by kookaburras was something we really enjoyed (better than semi trailers). Sorry we didn't catch up for that bubbly!
