First of all, I like the location of the hotel. It's less than 5 mins walk from the Airport Aerobus drop off and pick up points. Not hard to find, after you get off the Aerobus, continue walking in the direction where the bus goes, and the hotel is on your right, few hundred metres away. Also only a few steps away from the Urgell metro station, and a 15min leisurely walk to Placa Catalunya if you don't want to take the metro. I loved the design and concept of the hotel...it was clean and comfortable. I had the Bolonia room and it was great, it's not super large but the space is good enough if you'll be out most of the day. My friend had the Tel Aviv room and it was small, but good enough for one, and he had a balcony!! So if you are only one person, and you like fresh air or you smoke, it's perfect. The only downside was the slow check-in for me, and the fact that the invoice was in Spanish, not English, so if you want to use it for business claims, you might have problems.
"A good base to explore Barcelona"

We stayed here towards the end of March for a long weekend city break. It provided as an excellent base to explore the city with only a 10min walk to Las Ramblas or a metro station very close by. The hotel is modern but with a simple minimalist design maximising the space in each room. No frills but none necessary. Our room had a great power shower with plenty of hot water. We didn't take any meals here. Breakfast was expensive and there are plenty of cafes and deli's selling great coffee and pastries when you venture out of the hotel. Needless to say you rarely take dinner in the hotel you are staying at when you are on a city break to explore all the city has to offer and we were the same. We ate out every night. This hotel suited our needs, it was of a good standard, with a good location and priced fairly. We'd stay there again.

This hotel has peeled away the layers to arrive at the essence of what most travellers seek - clean rooms, decent prices, friendly staff, free wifi and breakfast included in the plan. The rooms are small but don't feel claustrophobic because the design is practical - especially the bathrooms. I had a wait of about half an hour when I check in because the rooms were not ready, but the way the staff handled this meant I don't raise this as a complaint in my review If there is one think they could do better - provide a coffee machine in all rooms instead of just the "Superior" rooms

Hotel was ok, modern, clean and very close to La Ramblas street and metro stop. Rooms were super clean. Receptionist were nice but took a long time to check us in. Breakfast was ok, not very impressive and pool area was very small but still clean. Recommended for its convenience and cleanliness.

We visited this hotel in march-14. On our arrival, we are updated to superior room with a view of whole barcelona from our bed. We were served with champagne & fruits surprisingly for our anniversary. metro is quite near. Airport shuttle(A1) is passing in front of it. It was a great stay and enjoyed a lot. Specifically thanks to pretty lady Ms allane. She is very helpful to guide us to various sites. We found one indian restaurant (NAMASTE) near to this hotel. Food was great.

It is my second time I stay in Barcelona and I stayed in Vueling hotel for 3 nights. It is beautiful modern hotel in Barcelona city center. You only tended to take 5minutes walk to La rambla street. Metro station "Ugril" just beside the hotel. It is easy to access any tourism attraction. Room is extremely quiet. Staffs are so friendly. Night receptionist Ruel(Am I spell correctly?) given us lots of guide to the Barcelone city. He is happy to help of booking a restaurant. Restaurant manager Liua given us very warm welcome and her special Barcelona hospitality. Breakfast is a big feast. Choice of fruits, yogurt, pastry, eggs, meat. Breakfast waitress is very friendly as well(sorry for cannot remember your name). Whoever stay in the hotel, I will recommend you to upgrade your room(Extra 18euro). You will have big terrace(with 2 beach bed) with king size bed. However hotel does not provide the adaptor. My phone is out of battery for whole day. All in all, I will come back to stay next time with my Spanish adaptor. ;)

We stayed overnight at this hotel in Barcelona, after a cruise. It was a short taxi drive from the port. The reception staff were very friendly and we were quickly shown to our room. We had loads of luggage, but this was attended to with no problem. The room was large, clean and contained all that we needed. It was a bit dark, but only because the thick curtains were drawn to keep the sun out! It is centrally situated, within easy walking distance from the Ramblas, where we were able to board the city tourist buses. There are also many restaurants nearby. The breakfast was good. I would recommend this hotel, more for a stop over, than a long stay.

This is my first time at the Hotel Vueling in Barcelona I experienced a wonderful welcome from the receptionist miss Marta Andreu. She was very profesional, helpful and informative to all of my questions and concerns she is a role model for any other person fulfilling her responsabilities. "Great place to stay in Barcelona"

Modern hotel , well equipped rooms with huge LCD TV screen , stuff is very nice and helpful. The location is very good ,(somewhere in the middle between Placa Espanya and Placa catalunya) there is a metro station 50 meters from the hotel. In my opinion it much more nice to stay in this area than the La Rambla area which is too crowded to my taste.
"Comfortable in the city centre"

It is a nice and comfortable hotel just ten minutes away from Plaça Catalunya and the Rambles. Although it is in a crowded street, I could not hear traffic. I had a big room with a terrace and stunning views on the Tibidabo mountain. The bed was big and comfortable as well as the pillows. At night it was a bit noisy because I could hear the shower of a neighbour room running. People at the front desk were helpful and friendly. They were really keen on helping me around.
