"Average... Overpriced!"
There was a lot of confusion with the cost of the rooms. The hotel menu was too average with very little option. Good view of the city, but average!

"I would not recommend to anyone"
I had a very bad experience with the hotel. The photo listed is not accurate. They accepted reservation without having vacancy and the refused to provide refund.I was provided an alternative arrangement which was not acceptable as it was not fit for living. The hotel was unhygenic, paint was chipping off the walls and sheets were soiled. absolutely no amenties. Needless to say i left in 15 minutes.

"OK, but one of the receptionist was so rude."
This is not hotel, it's kind of shared apartment. Room is good but you might need to share living/dining/kitchen with another room. One of the bad thing was musty bath room. There is no fan for the bathroom, also I couldn't open the window since there are a lot of droppings of birds outside. One of the worst thing was receptionist. There was a lady, she was so rude. I could not find any respects or hospitality for customers from her, at all. Except these 2 problems, this accommodation was basically OK, but I will not stay there.

"Never ever stay in this (Hotel ???)"
Don't get fooled by this lovely pic in the website. This is not a hotel but 2 bedroom apartments converted into rooms. First of all hotel name is no where written outside the building (it's Rizvi building ) and keep on roaming to find this so called hotel. Rooms are shabbily maintsined and the worst part is mattress - very very poor quality. For this price, you can easily get a three star accommodation in mumbai so avoid this property for sure.

"Not as advertised"
On arrival pool very dirty asked for 3 days before it was cleaned and refilled then only 18 inches deep no good for swimming in! Asked for food told only sandwiches and fries available as it was the end of season soft drinks also ran out on 2nd day so had to buy whilst out and take back to hotel. Hotel not as pictures on the Internet suggest at all !!!! Balcony sand outside windows very dirty and tatty.

Laurent and Benon rooms looked quite good in their pictures but when we arrived, we were a little disappointed with the quality of the rooms. Firstly, whoever they hired as an interior decorator has some answering to do. The living room looks dingy and the furniture was quite worn out. To add to the poor quality of the rooms, the WiFi was terrible, mostly unusable. We were there on a business trip so it was quite irritating not to be able to get work done. Overall, not bad but they definitely need to up their game. Don't think I'll be staying there the next time I'm in Mumbai on business.

True, the place is good situated, not bad view from the top but that's all. Furniture is good but shabby, many items should be replaced, breakfast is really sad, room service is average, price is unreasonable. You'd better take Grand Hyatt next door.

Booked on Expedia thinking this property would be as described. Well the suite side of it was as detailed HOWEVER a crucial point was omitted in the description. SHARED LIVING SPACE. The living area and kitchen was actually really nice however the bedroom was tiny, barely any space to move around the bed. The bathroom looked like it was unfinished. I expected a hotel lobby with a few members of staff, concierge, restaurant etc etc. Much to my surprise I was welcomed in a small lobby with a tiny desk for 1 person and a lift. At this point I realised this is not a suite hotel it's serviced apartments. I had been trying to contact the hotel for 5 weeks prior to my arrival as I wanted to book an airport pick up and also advise them I will be arriving early hours of the morning, I had no luck an neither did Expedia. I finally made contact 2 days before arriving. I ended up checking out after 4 hrs and wasn't refunded my money. I was assured by the front desk staff he would look into the issues and will personally email me. I'm still waiting 2 weeks later.

The "only" nice part of the room - there is a living room attached to the 2 bhk service apartments, which give you some breathing space and not so claustrophobic as a hotel room. The beds are nice, with 8 inch mattress. Now the real deal. Don't be fooled by the glossy images splashed across the web. The issues, one by one: 1) Food is VERY expensive, oily, and usually without salt. The quantity is VERY VERY less as per the prices they charge which are at par with 5 star hotels. I gave them this feedback multiple times, but they simply don't care. Word of advice - if you are paying for yourself while staying here, you'll be better off ordering from outside. There are zillions of eateries nearby as there is the Mumbai University in the vicinity. Also, you can take a bone china container from them, and make Maggi in the microwave which is placed in the small kitchen in the apartment. 2) Service is very very poor. They forget to bring what was ordered. They don't have a separate order facility to the kitchen/ restaurant. You need to order at the reception, and the lady at the reception will most times forget half of your order. 3) Very thin and dry roti was served. Inspite of telling multiple times, they send non butter roti, and then will charge you for butter roti. Insist every time to send you the bill whenever you have food there. 4) If you decide to eat at the guest house itself, you better eat directly at the 8th floor restaurant else they will charge service charge, even if they bring a water bottle to your room. 5) Staff doesn't seem to be trained properly. They don't understand the order, and will bring you Paneer Butter when Matar Paneer was ordered. Be doubly sure that they have noted the right order. 6) Laundry charges - again - very expensive - 70/- for a shirt? Looks like they picked up the laundry rate card from Grand Hyatt opposite to them and implemented the same rates. And to top that, they have a washing machine in some of the rooms (not all), which, yes, DOESNT WORK. Ask them, and they'll say "Sir yeh to aise hi rakhi hai. Laundry humko hi deni padegi." Imagine if someone is staying for a month like I did, the laundry cost would be astronomical. Only way out - your 2 hands, and spread the clothes in the dining area and put the fan on. 7) Swimming pool is under perpetual maintenance. I stayed there for a month, and my booking was done another 15 days back, so, at least 45 days the pool was in maintenance. What nonsense?? This is the added amenity they boast while justifying the 4K room rate, and this amenity is never working. Bunch of liars. 8) Very poor wifi. Keeps on disconnecting. FB will almost never open. 9) They ask for 800/- per day to use the burner!!! I might as well order food from outside rather than pay 800/- for the burner. In summary, if you have a choice - AVOID. You'll get better places around, and at better rates and better services.

This hotel had clean rooms - friendly staff. The common sitting area had good furniture with TV and other facilities - a nice kitchenette. The Buffet Breakfast did not have much variety - was just ok. Location is quite close to the airport . A decent place for the price they charge.

The place was the last resort when we had to travel to Mumbai on a last moment urgent meeting. Since all the hotels in Mumbai were booked, we had no option but to book this service apartment. Once we checked in, we were impressed by the common area, which is as per the pictures show, clean and tidy. The room allocated was also decent, except for small issues such as the paint peeling off here and there in the room. The bedding was really good with soft bed and pillows. Room was road side facing and was quite as the hotel is tucked away into the lanes but is right opposite the Grand Hyatt. The toilet however was disappointing. The cleanliness of the room had a lot of scope for betterment.

The hotel is located close to the airport (15-20 minutes drive) and to the hotel Grand Hyatt, so you will not have problems with taxi. Rooms are presented in separate apartments: lounge and kitchen, everywhere modern equipment.This apartment is designed for two rooms.Housekeeping was done daily.Each room has an exit to a small balcony, which is located around the perimeter.It constantly attacking pigeons.Breakfast is not very varied, the quality of the food at the four. The Breakfast room is small, only for five-six tables. Unfortunately, during my stay hot water was only three times, the water pressure is very weak. Stated the pool and the gym was not available.But on request, the staff responded promptly, was courteous. Have a good time in this hotel...to everybody :) No matter what troubles happened to me on this trip - I love you Mumbai...

The first priority for anyone who lands in Mumbai is to find shelter away from the slums, the honking noise pollution of the streets and preferably away from beggars; and that's exactly what the Laurent & Benon offers. It's situated off the high street but also not far from the hustle and bustle of the city for when you are in a hurry to hit the centre. Interior and exterior is a typical 5 star equipped with state of the art modern facilities that includes a remote controlled air conditioner in each and every room. Services are exceptional and the best I have ever received anywhere in the world, with friendly staff, room services you can order by phone and it's delivered in minutes. They even have essential perks like laundry and ironing services with prices from £0.50p! The entire apartment is cleaned everyday with fresh bed sheets and towels, everyday. It's situated right outside a taxi rank so it's very very convenient. For a convenient and comfortable stay in Mumbai I really would recommend no where else.

This hotel is terrible. The pictures and the description of the hotel do not match the real fact. The first time i booked the apartment without reading review on tripadvisor and I paid the price. I had booked 1 single room through GOIBIBO.com and when i reached the place their was no name mention on the property, When asked with local guy they said they don't know. I called them and then they said on the property its mention Rizvi east street and its opp. Grand Hyatt. When i reached property security person asked do i have booking and confirm with the staff inside. When reached inside they told me its 2 room apartment and i will be given 1 room and need to share apartment with another person. When I asked them i need tariff card they said we don't have and when I asked local police number they said why they need number of police? This made me suspicious about the hotel and I left from the place. Since I had paid money to GOIBIBO.com i called and made my complaint but they said its ok you can share apartment. This is terrible as they never said at the time of booking and if I know about it never book the apartment. I suggest you all never book this place or you might get in some trouble.

This hotel is terrible. The pictures and the description of the hotel do not match the real fact. Booked 7 single rooms. Got one apartment for 4 people, one apartment for 2 people and then one of our people was booked into a room with another person outside our travel party. The people at the hotel hasn't been to any help at all. We booked 4 nights at the hotel, but RAN AWAY after ONE night! NEVER AGAIN!
