"Erittäin ystävällinen palvelu, mahtava aamiainen"
Tosi mukava B&B paikka. "Lady of the house" teki loistavan Full Irish Breakfastin joka aamu.Siisti ja kodinomainen paikka, vanha […] perinteinen talo.Suosittelen lämpimästi Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Very nice staff, but.."

Staff was super nice and took care of everything we needed, including directions and booking taxis for us Some negative points: - lots of stairs are hard to go over with suitcases without an elevator - water didn't always flush (?!) - sticky shower floor
"Great Hosts - Central B&B"

Hi Trip Advisors / All I recently stayed at Kent House B&B and met the lovely Lorraine & John. They have a lovely town house with some quirky features - slightly sloping walls that is all explained in their very comprehensive welcome book. We had a great room at the back of the house which was quiet considering the locale. It was clean, comfortable, felt very homely and tastefully decorated. Lorraine and John went out of their way to ensure our needs were accommodated and made some great suggestions as to where to go and visit and where to eat. Thank you L and J for making our visit to Cork so great.

A lovely old town house with history . It was extremely friendly and very clean. Although next door to the station we did not hear the trains at all. We were made to feel very welcome and all the facilities met our needs. Breakfast was delicious and Lorraine tailored it to our requirements. A short walk into the city centre, within reach of all the sights and places of interest( good for shopping, eating and drinking). We went for the Jazz festival so our timekeeping was unrestricted. Although we arrived late on the first night ,this did not diminish the warm welcome and cup of tea with homemade biscuits on arrival. Would stay again without hesitation.

We had a room on the top floor. It had one double and one single bed. the room was quite large, bathroom was down three steps. Owners very helpful and personable. The breakfst was fresh cooked and very good. It is right by the train station and about 10 minutes walk to centre of town.
"Friendly & safe"

This is a great value, mid-range B&B with a relatively central location (15min walk to city centre), nice clean rooms with all amenities you need, and filling, simple breakfasts with delicious homemade oatcakes & fruit for those of us who like something a bit lighter. Lorraine & John were so welcoming, providing helpful hints & popping their heads out to say hi almost every time we came & went. Would certainly stay there again!
"Like staying with friends or family"

We stayed here for only one night on our most recent trip to Ireland. This was our most enjoyable and relaxing stay during our trip. It is only a short, enjoyable walk to downtown and rooms are clean, roomy and comfortable. Lorraine and John were most gracious hosts. The history of the their building is very interesting. Be sure to inquire about this if you visit. Lorraine is a wonderful cook and the quality and variety of food offered for breakfast was well beyond our expectation. I especially enjoyed the oat muffins. I would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Cork City. This is a quiet place to stay but still within walking distance of downtown Cork. We stayed here during our July-August 2012 family trip. Sorry it has taken so long to write this review! MacRaighnaill

My friends and I stayed 2 nights at the Kent House in mid July. Lorraine could not have been more accommodating! She's a wealth of knowledge on routes, interesting sights and what to do in town. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast was absolutely delicious!
