We arrived in the dark in the middle of a downpour like confused wet rats lol. Phyllis made us feel at home, got us warm and dry, gave us a nice comfy room and sent us on our way with a wonderful hot breakfast in the morning. Cheers Phyllis ☺
"Clean and central"

Right in the centre of Youghal, this b+b was surprisingly quiet. Our room was comfortable and clean with a lovely large shower. There was a place to lock our bikes away which was nice. Breakfast was delicious.

It has been years since I visited Youghal, even though many years ago I actually lived there and really developed a great love for that small town. It is steeped in history and has had associations with many a famous character. Having decided to spend a week there I called an old friend and asked him to book me some accommodation for the visit and left it at that. All I can say is that his choice was excellent and ROSEVILLE turned out to be one of the highlights of the week. The landlady is delightful, never without a smile and continuously helpful and charming. The rooms are spacious, clean and well appointed with great bathrooms and what can one say about the breakfasts. I have seen posh London hotels with menus that could not compete with the variety offered at Roseville. Excellent selection, excellent quality and good value for money, sorry excellent value for money. As McArthur so famously said, "i shall return"
"top-notch b&b: friendly, quiet, clean and delicious!"

recently stayed at roseville in central youghal, ireland (county cork)... if you're ever in need of top-notch accommodation, be sure to check out roseville... the service is very friendly, the entire house is quiet (very central but no street noise), the rooms are clean (with very large bathrooms, thank god!) and the beds are super-comfy: electric blankets included (you might need one even on an august night in ireland!)... had a great night's sleep! the breakfasts are individually prepared and delicious! be sure to try the homemade fruitcake (i had 2 pieces, i must confess)... there's even a piano! the wi-fi signal might not make it to every room, but there's a large room on the ground floor with a view of the garden - super quiet and i was able to work there for hours on end with no disturbance... be sure to book in advance as the place is very popular, especially on weekends! top notch all round... enjoy!

Great place. The owner/innkeeper is a charming and welcoming woman. The rooms are spotless, comfortable, and quiet. Breakfast is great; includes her fruit bread. The Roseville was recommended to us by a local resident who asked if we needed any assistance. We told him we were looking for accommodation. We received good guidance. Highly recommended.

Lovely B&B, very clean, good position and very nice owner. The rooms were perfect, clean and quiet. The breakfast was amazing and the owner came out from the kitchen with her lovely apron, just like your mum would do. I totally recommend this place, most of all for the kindness of the owner.
"Lovely B and B with fantastic breakfast"

My friends and I came here late in the evening when it was getting dark and we were getting worried about places to stay. The owner was so friendly I immediately felt at ease. We had a wonderful experience; the room was lovely, the house was utterly charming with a beautiful courtyard, and the prices were very fair! Even with all those things the highlight of our stay was breakfast. Completely delicious!!!!! I probably ate four of the soda bread scones! Great experience!!!
"Lovely little B&B"

Stayed here for three nights whilst visiting my father who lives in Youghal. Excellent location slap bang in the middle of town. I don't normally stay in B&B but this was recommended. It's a little dated but full of charm. Phylis is great and really helpful. She even got my wife a hot water bottle because it was pretty cold this time of year! Room was ok with everything you needed. Breakfast was exceptional, I opted for the full Irish (be rude not to). I didn't need anything else all day...... It's a great location to tour around town on the many walks and we would recommend it.

Our stay in Phyllis' stately B&B was a wonderful respite! Our room was nicely decorated, very clean, and welcoming! We enjoyed sitting in the parlor and in the garden, and especially enjoyed the sunny breakfast room and DELICIOUS breakfast with homemade jams and out- of- this- world brown bread! Phyllis and her staff were most welcoming and helpful! Thank you!
