The room was very small for two people. The shower fell off and the safe wasn't working. But it's five minutes walk to the beach and to the Manuel Antonio national park.Genuine Expedia guest review
Great hotel within walking distance to the beach and Manuel Antonio National Park. Nice hotel staff. Clean rooms.Genuine Expedia guest review
We stayed for two nights. Booked as it was a reasonable price for Manuel Antonio in high season. Was very pleasantly surprised. Very nice little hotel only about 150 meters from the beach and 300 from the park entrance. Staff was supper friendly! The only complaints are the poor water pressure in the shower but that is true of all hotels I have stayed […] at in CR, and the bed is a tad hard. Would highly recommend the Hotel Villabosque. I had a good esperience staying in this hotel. The food was great, the place so nite and clean, and the bestcof all was the people working there. I received a really good service. You will be around of nature and you will be able to see a lot of wonderful birds out site your balcony

Great locaton - only a 5 min walk from the entrance to the national park. Also only 5 mins from local beach & a good bar/ restaurant. Room had too much furniture in it but otherwise was clean & had good A/C. Curtains too thin & let in too much light early in morning. Also walls paperthin so easy to get woken by any noise outside. I can't really recommend the hotel restaurant - we ate there as a group & were served baked potatoes that weren't cooked. Staff attitude was shoddy as they made lots of feeble excuses rather than apologise. Had a much better meal down the road by the beach.
Great location a few minutes walk to Manuel Antonio NP or to the public beach (also beautiful). Lovely hotel, very clean, friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast and cocktails. Very good mattresses. Bonus on last day.... monkeys by the pool! Would definitely stay again.

I didn't have the opportunity to stay at this hotel, however my daughter was in the area on a school trip from Canada. She lost her wallet and camera in the area. A guest from the hotel found them and gave them to the hotel. I received an email from the hotel explaining they had my daughters wallet and camera. They made every attempt to return her belongings and were extremely co-operative with quick and professional responses. I would recommend this hotel as safe and honest establishment and hope on our next trip to Costa Rica I can visit this hotel. Thank you again Allen. Your actions give me a positive impression of Costa Rica.

Very nice location. Attractive property. Friendly staff. Good bar and restaurant. Easy access to the beach and national park. A little expensive but not bad. Only criticism is that at checkout, they wouldn't let us pay in local currency but converted to dollars. Someone has his eye on making a dollar on the exchange rate.
"Charming Hotel, Perfect Location"

Located within a 5-minute walk to either the entrance of Manuel Antonio National Park, the bus stop, or the local beach (Playa Espadilla.) Staff was very friendly and helpful. Arnoldo helped us arrange a kayaking tour through the mangroves, suggested local restaurants, and even let us borrow a cooler for packing a family lunch into M.A.Natl Park. Also, Arnoldo and Alan invited our high school boys to play beach soccer, which was intense and awesome and made them feel a part of the community. We stayed 6 nights here, and celebrated New Years, complete with a lovely dinner, drummers and fireworks. Animal life observed daily here includes monkeys (2 species), iguanas and other lizards, bats, many bird species, & a porcupine. One morning we awoke to the roaring of Howler Monkeys…sooo amazing! Our first room was small, facing the front of the hotel, and had a patio-balcony. Our shower water in this room was temperamental. After a few days we switched to a larger room towards the back of the hotel and had an outdoor seating area to ourselves, perfect water temperature and a much larger room. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and charming with many seating areas. We became friendly with most of the staff and truly enjoyed our stay here.

This hotel is a short walk from the entrance to Manuel Antonio as well as to the public beach where there are a few restaurants. The restaurant at the hotel was amazing! We had one of our best dinners in Costa Rica there. Lovely hotel courtyard. The pool is small but we managed to have it to ourselves for a little bit one afternoon. The hotel staff was very friendly and helped us with restaurant recommendations as well as with someone to rent umbrellas and chairs from on the beach. Great stay!

We stayed here for 3 nights. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for the beach and the national park, plus the bus stop is at the end of the street. We had been traveling for several days so it was great that they offered laundry services. Monkeys come in the afternoon, ironically during happy hour. Best pina coladas and recommend the Manuel Antonio chicken entree for dinner.

If you're visiting Manuel Antonio National Park, this hotel is perfectly situated. It's a two-minute walk to the beach and several restaurants one way, and less than a five-minute walk to the park entrance the other way. The room was comfortable with a powerful AC unit, if you want it. It offers a solid breakfast buffet, and they keep the bird feeder well supplied with fruit to attract colorful visitors. The desk staff speaks good English and were helpful with booking tours.
"Beautiful hotel in a beautiful area"

I stayed in this hotel with my girlfriend while we were visiting Manuel Antonio. The hotel was well-situated near both the national park and the beach. The room was clean and well-maintained and the building had great views of the forest nearby. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful and the guy at the front desk (whose name I unfortunately do not remember) was helpful and very serious. The only slight problem I can think of is the peculiar windows, which do not fully close for some odd reason. Still, everything else from the pool to the balcony was extremely pleasant.
