"Better off doing Airbnb"
We stayed here for a night, because it was well rated and in a good location. Our experience was mostly negative. First of all, the warm water didn't work at all, even after troubleshooting with the owner of the property - we ended up taking brutally cold showers. Second, the place had clean linens and towels, but the bathroom and kitchen were only […] moderately clean - definitely not up to hotel standards. It wasn't a hotel at all - basically a glorified airbnb. Only bright spot was that the location was good Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great position to be"
First time trip to Tel Aviv, location was great, one block from Dizengoff street, easy walk to Carmel market, Rabin Square and Rothschild Blvd. Apartment was ready on time, owners were easy to communicate with. Parking in the street is a challenge, but the owner recommended a parking garage that work well. Great place to experience the streets of Tel […] Aviv. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Found this hotel online and had 0 expectations. Ended up loving it so much that we stayed an extra night! The owner is easy to communicate with and is very accommodating. The location is about a 5-10 minute walk to anywhere in the city and is right in the middle of the action without being chaotic right where the hotel is located. Would absolutely stay […] here again! The apartment was well located, with plenty of places to eat and drink just feet away. Also just a 10-15 minute walk to the beach area. It was clean, good service and flexible check ins and check out. In summary, i would return and recomend it to anyone.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Since this is an apartment you have to contact the owners to meet up and set up the room. It is a great location. The room was clean. There is also a kitchen, washer and dryer. Great for a long stay in Tel Aviv.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"great little apartment hotel"
Nice little place in great central location however bit of a pain if you have a car as you need to park in the shopping centre car park down the road. Also not great if you have alot of luggage and as the lift stops at a half landing before your floor. But njoyed our stay and it has all utensils and cooking and washing equipment.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

I have stayed in many hotels and vacation rentals and have never come across better service. Gali was an absolute gem and personally saw to it that we had a comfortable and stress free stay. Checking in problematic as there is no on-site registration and guest would need to call first or arrange a specific arrival time for person in charge to meet arrival. However, once contact is done, Gali, the manager, is very helpful and ensures stay is pleasant.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A Gem In Central Tel Aviv"
We arrived two hours early and the owner was very accommodating in getting us settled quickly. The apartment is a large one bedroom condo sitting on the third floor of a quiet three story complex. Entry into the building is secured via a code and access to the the third floor is either by elevator or stairs. The code, keys and general instructions are […] supplied by the owner upon arrival. The apartment was very clean with lots of hot water and air conditioning. There is a full kitchen as well as a washer and dryer. Although located on a busy street with a wine bar on the first floor of the building there was no issue with noise. There are many restuarants in the area as well as a major shopping mall a block away. Note that the entrance to the apartment is located slightly off of King George street. You will need to contact the owner buy phone upon arrival or make other meeting arrangements as the owner does not live in the building. This is not a problem as communications with the owner are excellent. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great stay and perfect location"
I was there for business and needed easy facilities, supermarket etc close by plus transport links. The apartment I was in was the standard one, still had a balcony and all the cooking utensils etc needed. Very thoughtful design and layout and felt very "new". They also arrange a cab for me at 3am fo the airport and everything was perfect.Genuine Expedia guest review

It is located in the center of Tel Aviv. There are restaurants and cafes near by. You can also walk to the beach. It will take around 15-20 mins. The room is perfect and in good conditions.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Genuine Hotels.com guest review
For a good weekend or longer stay in Tel Aviv, I would highly recommend Kind George 83, brilliant service, very clean and a flat with great amenities. (the bed was fantastic, thank you!) Whenever we are back in Tel Aviv, this is a sure thing. The area itself isn't in the middle of the action, but you can walk just about everywhere from there. "Rymlig lägenhet, bra läge"
Jättebra läge nära uteserveringar, restauranger och shopping. Nära till det mesta, men det finns säkert annat boende lite närmre stranden om det är en prioritet. Vi var en familj med två vuxna barn. Hade ett separat sovrum + en bäddsoffa och stor matplats.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Perfect location to explore Tel Aviv !"
01/10/15 Tijnfunkiness Antwerp
The perfect location for exploring Tel Aviv !! The apartment is in the middle of King George Street and above a very nice wine bar, with good wines, food and music and next door is one of the best coffee places. 15 minutes walk from Carmel Market and 20 minutes walk from the beach, all the best food places are in the neighborhood !! The apartment is spacious and with a washing machine and dryer very handy if you stay a few days. The bed is comfortable and with the windows closed it's very quiet. Doron the manager is very kind and helpfull, hope to see them back X
For a brief 3 days this hotel was convenient for value, location and service.breakfast was also good and great drinks.we met some very good staff friendly and happy to suggest atractions and best restaurants in town
"Not bad accomodation, really nice host"
09/14/14 DiegoNadia V Munich, Germany
We spent our first and last night in Israel at King George Apartments. As we arrived late at night and left early in the morning it was fine: it was easy to drive there from the airport and we were allowed to park in the shopping center parking at 500m. The flat is quite spacious: double bedroom, bathroom, living room with sofa-bed, kitchen. The location is ok, there are many bars and restaurants nearby. As on the groundfloor of the building there is a bar, it could be a little bit noisy, expecially with open windows (anyway the flat is air conditioned). It could also be cleaner. Gali has been really kind and helpful! The communication with her has always been quick and she did her best to help us organizing our stay in Tel Aviv! Thanks!

"Great location, standard apartment"
07/23/14 Valpoost New York City, New York
We booked this apartment while at the train station in Ashdod - on our way to Tel Aviv - so it was a very last minute decision. We also stayed for one night only. Given that, it was fine for what we needed. We were lucky to have a family member's cell phone with us to contact management upon arrival because when we got there we realized that there is no reception. The main door was also unlocked so we were able to get into the building without a key (there is no security or reception). We finally called the number on the reservation and someone met us within 15 minutes (she stated that she normally does not set people up) and let us in the room. She gave the wifi PW upon request otherwise it was a quick meeting. From what I experienced, the room seemed clean. It has basics such as a kitchen, washer and dryer. In the future, I would likely choose a different place to stay at or a traditional hotel with reception. I chose to give the property 3 stars mainly because of its' location. It is near great bars and restaurants.

Such a shame that the room was very, very dirty, dust, mould in the bathroom and water stains on kitchen equipment... I had to purchase a cleaning products from the local Supermarket to make the room liveable for 5 days... It was evident that the kitchen top, microwave & fringe was wiped down with the same towel cloth used to mop the floor. Was advised that we had been upgraded to a deluxe room. If our room was deluxe would hate to see what a standard room felt like. PROs: -Location - bars, shopping centre, restaurants & beach all within walking distance room good size. CONs: -Old decor -Extremely dirty rooms -Bathroom filthy & disgusting... -No customer service Do yourself a favour and stay at another hotel.. Strongly do not recommend a stay @ King George Apartments.

Horrible Experience - May 2014. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Manageress extremely unprofessional. Location - seedy area - was told it would be central and a few minutes from the beach, not SO. Apartment wasn't what we anticipated or had prepaid by our travel agent back home. Photos on Expedia and other website including Tripadvisor incorrect. Photos are inaccurate. Photos shows the apartment that we were shown as being quite acceptable until you actually go inside and find the main bedroom undesirable - bed had a 1970's cover ! Pillows for sleeping were 1/2 the standard size and like a pancake. Sliding door to outside dirty balcony had bird droppings still on it. Bathroom shower - mould, toilet roll holder broken off the wall. Kitchen in poor condition. Apartment was run down. This was in need of total renovation. Thanks to Expedia working hard by phone we were able to get out of this place and move to a brilliant apartment block
"Great Location, not so clean"
06/29/14 NeilC2607 Sydney, Australia
The rating provided was based purely on the location. Please note cleanliness played no part in the rating. We arrived to the apartments, with no body to greet us or building access. Our arrival time was pre-arranged for approx 1.30pm, however due to customs delays at TLV airport, train and bus connections, we arrived at the hotel later than expected, at 2.55pm. The caretaker/manager who waited for us, advised us that she departed the premises at 1.30pm, which was our originally set arrival time. The phone number provided at the bottom of all email correspondence, only plays music when i called the number 4 times. This made things very, very frustrating when your in a foreign country and cannot make contact. Once we discovered and accessed free TLV street wifi, we could make contact via iMessage and locate keys to access the apartment. These were left by Gali at the coffee shop across the street. Once inside the apartment, there were no written instructions on how to get the internet password, use the washing machine, air conditioner or where to take the rubbish. We later found on the rear of the entry door, some very brief instructions, but nothing to really assist with general things. All contact is via phone calls (this is difficult if you don't have an Israel mobile phone or SIM card) or by internet to use iMessage and email. Gali and Doron were very good in replying to assist, but its not the same as having someone at "reception" 24/7. Apartment 5 is a deluxe room facing King George street. The apartment is a 1 bedroom with kitchen, European laundry and bathroom with shower, flat screen TV, DVD and satellite TV, sofa and pull out bed underneath. The bed is comfortable, however the pillows are old and flat and could be refreshed. The cleaner comes upon departure of each tenant, there is no daily clean or towel refresh. The house cleaning is very substandard as the bathroom had mold growing in the corners of the wall tiles and where the glass connects to the tiles with silicone. We purchased bleach to remove some of this mold, along with purchasing insect spray to kill a few uninvited insects. The microwave oven is filthy inside and had water stains on the door, from the quick wipe down it received. We also found an open condom packet on the floor at the bed head, a previous tenants Lufthansa baggage receipt from their flight LH684 and a small paper bag behind an ottoman in the lounge room. We spent the first 2 hours of our Tel Aviv holiday cleaning the apartment after buying cleaning products. The sofa is covered with an acrylic purple throw rug (complete with previous tenants hair strands and some sort of bodily stains) which covers the stained white fabric on the sofa. In addition, we also discovered dog fur amongst the dust, under the side board whilst we were cleaning the apartment to make it livable. Despite the apartment having electric and solar hot water, which has a twice daily timer, we had no hot water in the morning. This is very unusual considering the shower was the first of the day and often at 8.30 am. By noon hot water was plentiful. When I finally worked out how to get the 5kg front loading washing machine working, each cycle needed manual input to commence the next wash phase. There is a building lift, however the lift takes you to a floor in between the required level and the next level down. Meaning you have to carry heavy luggage up 1 set of stairs. That is, the lift takes you to floor 2, but the apartment is on floor 2.5. The apartments are located in the center of Tel Aviv, 1 block from the Dizengoff shopping center. This has a large supermarket, foreign currency exchange, and many other stores. There are a number of little cafes both below and near the apartment which are surprisingly quiet in the evening. Additionally they are a close 15 minute walk to beautiful Tel Aviv beach. If arriving at TLV international airport, allow at least a further hour to clear immigration /customs and the 30 minutes for a train to arrive then a 20 minute train ride. Once at the train station, go to platform 2 for city trains. Trains have wi-fi. Train tickets are approx 16 Israeli Shekels. Exit the train at Ha Salom train station (2 stops). Then catch Bus 239 which stops directly at the train station and will take you to the Dizengoff shopping center. Tickets are approx 7 Shekels and can be purchased for cash on the bus. Exit the bus and walk to the rear, turning the first corner to the left. Walk a further 1.5 blocks. As you cross the second street, the apartments building entry is on your left, with a steel structure next to the door. Despite our arrival and house keeping issues, the apartments are ideally situated and well appointed.
"Great location at a great price"
02/14/14 Im_ya_Huckleberry Houston, Texas ya'll
Having never been to Tel Aviv, I chose this apartment based on its proximity to the Dizengoff Center, thinking that there would be restaurants, cafes, and other amenities near. I was pleasantly surprised that all of my assumptions were correct. In addition to Dizengoff, the King George is within easy walking distance of the Carmel market where if you can't find it, you probably don't need it. Gali was a pleasure to deal with, even though I arrived without calling ahead to let her know. She arrived within minutes and after a long bus ride from Jerusalem, I was relaxing in the apartment. The apartment may be small by US standards, but it's perfect for the single traveller or a couple. So glad I chose this place, Thanks Gali!!!!
"Great place at a sweet spot!"
11/20/13 al_lev Toronto
The apartment itself is neat and clean, with renovated indoors, but the best part is the outdoors. 20 minutes walk to the shore through Carmel market make for a great morning/evening stroll, while abundance of cafes, hole-in-the-walls and more "decent" establishments provide for lively night. We were 2 couples staying for 1 night in the apartment, at it suited us much better than any other hotel would do - the night life is the best drag-point of this spot - there is a bar-wine at the first floor of the apartment building! Gali proved to be excellent host, attentive and responsive. The only drawback is the... Well, there are no drawbacks! we would definitely stay there again,
