If you are a Westerner, you will be the only one. This is a very vibrant and busy neighborhood with an active market set up every afternoon till 10pm selling everything from clothes to jewelry, fresh fruit and furniture.
The hotel is a quick 5 minute walk from the Chembur suburban train station with trains taking you all over Mumbai if you dare using the overcrowded system. The hotel is also a 5 minute walk to the new monorail system, however, it won't take you anywhere really useful until the extension opens in 2015.
The staff was excellent and very professional. The free breakfast was great!

Hotel location along with surrounding neighborhood market is great. Hotel room fits the value of the nightly price. Problems encountered during hotel stay was with counter check in person who is unprofessional and needs basic course on how to deal with guests. Also, during our stay, we had several employees ask us about things that was none of their business or anything to do with the one night stay. Breakfast was below average.

Its a very good hotel. Location is near chembur station so really convenient. Room was clean and well air conditioned. TV had some nice channels. Food was good and room service was excellent. Got free wifi for 12 hours. Electric kettle was not working but was fixed on request.
My company had provided me accomodation in this hotel. Found that the rooms were clean, staff very courteous and hotel stay comfortable. It is located very close to chembur station , so transit within city is also easy. The complimentary breakfast was also tasty and good.
I stayed here in August 2014. My first thought when I entered the lobby of this hotel was, "God this place smells of onions!" And it did. Firstly, because it was the monsoons, the floor was constantly wet and dirty (no excuse, because they should have been cleaning it) and secondly, every time they did clean it using that smelly mop, it smelt even more of onions. How horrible does that sound? The complimentary breakfast (buffet) was decent and was served in their conference room by day and club/shady bar by night. I found stains on the pillows and sheets and a cockroach as well (pictures attached). The toilets were just tolerable. I'd advise you to pay 1 or 2k extra and just go to Jewel of Chembur, if you can manage it. That hotel is worth every penny.
I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and found the hotel to be comfortable in a good location closer to amenities and shops. It is value for money and I would definitely recommend the hotel for business or personal stay.
Have been staying regularly. Neat rooms . Clean towels and bed. Staffs are courteous . Surrounded by nice food joints and shops. Good breakfast spread..Approaching road is little narrow.Nice hotel to stay
Stayed here for 5 nights, sponsored by my company located at Govandi about 2.6 Kms from the hotel. Staff was courteous and room service was prompt and of good quality. Room was of adequate size and comfortable. Chembur railway station was just a walk of a few minutes away. Restaurant was spacious and breakfast buffet had a fairly good spread catering to Indian and Foreign nationals.
All at Plaza Hotel.
This is a personal thanks from me to all of you.
My guest (Mr. Praveen and family) who happen to stay at your property were quiet impressed by the warmth and courteous hospitality rendered to them.
Thanks again and do keep this up always.
Nothing matches what has been updated on the website. Rooms are pathetic and not cleaned properly. Bath towels are torn. Bed Linens are stinking and stains every where.
Rooms ends when you enter and have very less room to roam around
Checked out immidately in an hours time
We were provided accommodation in this hotel by the company. We stayed here for two days and a night. The hotel is quite good. The service is quite decent. The quality of rooms is quite good with clean linen & towels, a decent laundry. The bathrooms are neat and clean. It is at a stone throw away from the Chembur local station. The hotel provides one complimentary breakfast, in its restaurant attached to it. It also has Blend-n-Brew lounge bar attached, though a bit expensive is good enough. There are a lot of other options for food around that one can explore. There are few local shops around. Will definitely recommend to a friend!!
Place is over expensive, and is not worth spending that much money.
Bathroom are horrible. Used Linen is provided. Internet connection is extremely poor.
Staff is Ok. Front Desk doesn't seem appealing. Place is not on main road.
Locality is not that great. But Chembur local train station is very close by.
Many eateries are near by and are awesomely good.
Place have a kind of strange smell.
