"Cozy Rainy Astoria"
My wife and I were looking for a weekend getaway. We have always been interested in Astoria, with the history, Columbia River, and all. So with a bit of a spur of the moment type happening we went ahead and did it. We were so very fortunate to find this B&B. It was perfect for our needs. The room was quite large and very well appointed with spectacular […] view of the Columbia. Very close to everything, museums, restaurants, river walk, etc. We had a great time. Oh and did I tell you that it rained almost all the time! We still had a good time. Embrace the rain! Becky was a great hostess, helped point us in the right direction after filling us up with great breakfasts. Thanks Becky. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Close to downtown"
Great location. Becky, the owner was terrific and she served fine breakfast food. Would reserve a room again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Very nice old victorian B&B with much ambiance and great view of the Columbia river and downtown Astoria. Comfortable, quiet and the breakfast was excellent also. Highly recommended!Genuine Expedia guest review
Neat house, great location right in the middle of town, and modestly priced.Genuine Expedia guest review
"very convenient location"
the breakfast was great and the location is super. Go to the Astoria Music festival next year. Very high quality and unusual repertoire.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This B&B is very comfortable, has a great breakfast, and a great view. Nearly everything one would want to do is within walking distance. or close to the trolley line. The outside is greatly in need of a paint job, but the interior is charming and clean. The hostess(owner) is very very friendly and .gracious. This was our second stay and we will stay […] there n our next trip. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Within easy walking distance to the opening"
Definitely will go back! B&B is about 4 short blocks (downhill) to the old town galleries and restaurants. Hostess greets you like old friends. Breakfast is tasty and more than what I usually eat. It's a 1920s Victorian, so rooms are the smaller size that you would expect for a building of that period. Decor matches the architecture. Meeting other guests […] (from all over the world) at breakfast is part of the allure. Has wifi & a small tv in the room, but you'll probably be out & about seeing the sights most of the time. "Wonderful people, great location!"
We don't stay at a lot of hotels or B&Bs, but wanted to try something different, and Astoria was about the right distance from home. The place is nicely done, the owners were great, and were proud to talk about the history of the house and surroundings. The room was clean and nice, although showering in a claw foot tub was a bit odd (no place to put […] your soap when the curtain is closed?). Despite that small oddity, we really enjoyed the stay, enjoyed the hospitality, and there were great restaurants just 3 or 4 blocks from here - we went to a brewpub called the Wet Dog - that was great as well! We would gladly go here again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Due to sewer construction, one could see the B&B but had quite a time navigating to it. The Starlight room had a nice view of the river and all though dated, the innkeepers kept the place clean. The breakfast was very good and we visit again.Genuine Expedia guest review
Owner is helpful and friendly but not intrusive. The "Majestic" has a small, but well-equipped, kitchen & a nice balcony. Would be great for a multi-night stay. The decor is Victorian & flowery - consistent with the age of the house. No air/con (as you would expect), but a good fan.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Not worth the money"
Very expensive and literally no service. Breakfast was a joke. Bisquick pancakes and a sausage patty and a fruit cup. The room was ok. We saw the owners at check in and breakfast...that was it. We've had better experiences at much less expensive B&B's.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Home away from home with elegance and charm"
I loved my stay at the Franklin Street District Bed and Breakfast. I had the top floor Starlight Suite with a sitting area to view the Columbia River. The room was decorated with Victorian elegance and charm and so cozy and inviting I did not want to leave. The breakfast was wonderful and you could make special requests for dietary restrictions. I will […] definately go back and enjoy a longer stay. The innkeeper was very accommodating and friendly. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very handy to down town area"
Room was small but clean. Very friendly help. For a B&B the breakfast was very basic.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Charming centrally located bed & breakfast"
The Station Street Bed & Breakfast is a comfortable, clean inn. Becky is a very welcoming and informative hostess. She, along with fellow guests, provided invaluable tips and suggestions on things to see in Astoria and surroundings. All in all, a wonderful experience and I would recommend this inn to anyone staying in the Astoria area.Genuine Expedia guest review

"A great B&B in Astorea"

We have stayed at the Frnaklin Street Station B&B many times and always look forward to our next stay. We have stayed in almost every one of the rooms (I don't think we've stayed in the Magnolia Retreat room). All the rooms we stayed in were great. The Starlight Suite is ver spacious - espeically for just my wife and I. The Majestic Suite is our current favorite with the canopy bed and balcony big enough to have your lunch or dinner. Has a great view, too. It's just a few blocks from downtown Astoria, but very quiet. The breakfast is always great and the hostess, Becky, is always pleasnt anf full of good tips on where to eat and go. It's about 30 minutes to the outlet stores in Seaside and another 10-15 minutes to Cannon Beach. Highly recommend Franklin Street Station B&B! Feel free to ask me about it! We're going back again in November (2014).
"Quaint B&B in super location and excellent breakfast"

This was our first experience staying at a B&B vs. hotel. Didn't know what to expect but we were very happy staying here! Nice neighborhood, felt safe, quaint old Victorian home. Host Becky was a gem! She gave us excellent tips on where to eat and what do do in Astoria. The Sunday open market was fantastic and best of all, it is right behind house so you just walk over! They had wonderful homemade jams and baked goods! The peaches sold were the sweetest we ever had! Must eat at Tora Sushi which is a quick couple blocks walk from B&B. We loved it so much we ate there two nights in a row! Lewis and Clark National Park was fun! Great hiking trails and over the summer they have a ranger led kayak trip on the Netul River. Must sign up ahead of time for this kayak trip. it cost $3 to get in and no extra cost for kayak trip! Astoria is a neat little town, very low key and neat old shops. Breakfast was excellent starting with a beautiful fruit cup. We loved the breakfast table as Becky has a beautiful table cloth and gorgeous China! We stayed in the Sweet tranquility room with a balcony. It was great to sit out there and write in my travel journal at the end of the day. bathroom was clean, updated and spacious. We would definitely recommend this place when you are in Astoria. Thank you Becky for being a wonderful hostess and a very memorable stay! Keith and Elena, the Hawaii couple

My fiance and I stumbled across the Franklin St. Station B&B and I'm so glad we did! We booked the same day - we happened to be passing through Astoria - and wished that we could have stayed longer. Becky and her team are incredibly friendly and gracious, and make a killer breakfast. We stayed in the Starlight room on the top floor, which had an amazing view of the town and the harbor and was incredibly comfortable. Sharing a breakfast table with the other guests the next morning was a fun way to get to know each other, and a generous and decadent way to start our day. It's extremely well-located and an easy walk to Astoria's waterfront and restaurants.
"Very Special B&B!"

My mother and I stayed here the end of July and had a very pleasant time! Our room was "Sweet Tranquility" . This room is not very big but it has a large bathroom and a nice little deck to sit on and watch the boats on the water. It is in a quiet neighborhood and just a short walking distance to the riverfront where there are several great eating places, shopping, and museums. Becky made us wonderful breakfasts of pancakes one day, waffles the next, and eggs the next, all which included fresh fruit and sausage or ham! Becky was also very helpful giving us information and directions to several area attractions. We are so glad we spent all of our time in the Astoria area rather than fighting the traffic down the coast this time of year. There is plenty of history and things to do right here or within a very short and easy drive. We would definately return and stay here again. Her prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is homey. Thanks Becky for making our vacation a wonderful and memorable experience! Debbie & Kathie.
"wonderful place to stay"

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay and the Starlight room was neat and very clean. Becky is so nice and the food was excellent. Had fresh fruit with our breakfast and fruit was so tasty. We could watch all the ships coming in and going out of Astoria from our big window. Neighborhood is quiet. This bed & breakfast is right downtown so you can walk and explore all the shops. Plenty of eating establishments to choose from. Would go back and stay at this bed and breakfast again.
"Friendly and nice, but odd"
11/01/13 JeffCarnegie Dedham, Massachusetts
This B&B was pleasant and nice. It is a very easy walk to the river walk and downtown shops and restaurants. The people were friendly. They only made breakfast at 8:30 and 9:30. We had to leave early our last day, and they would not even leave us some things to go in a bag. The bed was too hard for my taste, with only a foam topper. The room has a small clawfoot tub with a shower. The heat was somewhat irregular. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.
"Very nice B&B"

Stayed in August, nice quiet side street but within walking distance to local downtown area, lovely room and great breakfast. Would stay again. Don't remember the name of the room, but it was top of the staircase to the left with a view out the back of the house from balcony.

My husband and I stayed with at the Franklin Street B&B and had a wonderful time. Becky, the owner, made us instantly feel at home. We stayed in the "Enchantment Room", which was small but very nice and clean. Breakfast was fresh fruit, along with pancakes and sausage. Delicious! The house sits just a couple of blocks off of the main street which makes it convenient to walk and then catch the trolley, if desired. Loved that the Wi-Fi worked throughout the house. If we end up back in Astoria, we would definitely stay here again.
"Very comfortable, great location"

This is a real bed and breakfast with comfortable rooms, friendly owners, good breakfast and warm charm. It is not high end fancy schmancy. Just nice rooms, some with great views of the town and river. Ours had a canopy bed, kitchenette, nice bathroom with shower. The owners are great about providing advice and maps of the area.
"Quirky place, great location"

We stayed here just a few weeks ago and had a pretty good time. The location is pretty much perfect. You are within walking distance to many things and on Sundays you're right at the entrance of the open street market. The owner was suuuper nice and very friendly. I can't remember the name of the room we stayed in, but it was on the top floor. Very comfortable! Slept great and had plenty of room for everything as it's large enough to have it's own bathroom, couch, sink, fridge and seating area. The only bothersome things were that at 10pm on a Saturday, speaking at a normal volume was enough to bother either one of the other guests or someone who worked there. We didn't feel we were being too loud at all and were speaking to eachother at the same volume we would at home. Also, everything in Astoria is expensive when it comes to places to stay so we paid more then we would've liked to. Breakfast in the morning consisted of sausage, pancakes and fruit. My main squeeze was kind of bummed that there was no bacon, but such is life. It was fun sitting at the breakfast table with the other guests as you got to know them and hear their stories.
