"Mother's Day, 2015"
The hospitality, breakfasts and room were great. We especially liked discovering that we had a suite at the top of the Inn (3rd floor)!! What we liked best about the room was the large window and telescope and binoculars that were provided. We were mesmerized by the view of the town and the Columbia river. The shower was a bit difficult for us to control...we either froze or cooked...However, Becky's breakfasts were delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

"Cozy Rainy Astoria"
My wife and I were looking for a weekend getaway. We have always been interested in Astoria, with the history, Columbia River, and all. So with a bit of a spur of the moment type happening we went ahead and did it. We were so very fortunate to find this B&B. It was perfect for our needs. The room was quite large and very well appointed with spectacular view of the Columbia. Very close to everything, museums, restaurants, river walk, etc. We had a great time. Oh and did I tell you that it rained almost all the time! We still had a good time. Embrace the rain! Becky was a great hostess, helped point us in the right direction after filling us up with great breakfasts. Thanks Becky.

"Great Location"
This B&B is very comfortable, has a great breakfast, and a great view. Nearly everything one would want to do is within walking distance. or close to the trolley line. The outside is greatly in need of a paint job, but the interior is charming and clean. The hostess(owner) is very very friendly and .gracious. This was our second stay and we will stay there n our next trip.

"Within easy walking distance to the opening"
Definitely will go back! B&B is about 4 short blocks (downhill) to the old town galleries and restaurants. Hostess greets you like old friends. Breakfast is tasty and more than what I usually eat. It's a 1920s Victorian, so rooms are the smaller size that you would expect for a building of that period. Decor matches the architecture. Meeting other guests (from all over the world) at breakfast is part of the allure. Has wifi & a small tv in the room, but you'll probably be out & about seeing the sights most of the time.

"Wonderful people, great location!"
We don't stay at a lot of hotels or B&Bs, but wanted to try something different, and Astoria was about the right distance from home. The place is nicely done, the owners were great, and were proud to talk about the history of the house and surroundings. The room was clean and nice, although showering in a claw foot tub was a bit odd (no place to put your soap when the curtain is closed?). Despite that small oddity, we really enjoyed the stay, enjoyed the hospitality, and there were great restaurants just 3 or 4 blocks from here - we went to a brewpub called the Wet Dog - that was great as well! We would gladly go here again.

"Astoria B&B"
Due to sewer construction, one could see the B&B but had quite a time navigating to it. The Starlight room had a nice view of the river and all though dated, the innkeepers kept the place clean. The breakfast was very good and we visit again.

"Walkable location"
Owner is helpful and friendly but not intrusive. The "Majestic" has a small, but well-equipped, kitchen & a nice balcony. Would be great for a multi-night stay. The decor is Victorian & flowery - consistent with the age of the house. No air/con (as you would expect), but a good fan.

"Not worth the money"
Very expensive and literally no service. Breakfast was a joke. Bisquick pancakes and a sausage patty and a fruit cup. The room was ok. We saw the owners at check in and breakfast...that was it. We've had better experiences at much less expensive B&B's.

"Home away from home with elegance and charm"
I loved my stay at the Franklin Street District Bed and Breakfast. I had the top floor Starlight Suite with a sitting area to view the Columbia River. The room was decorated with Victorian elegance and charm and so cozy and inviting I did not want to leave. The breakfast was wonderful and you could make special requests for dietary restrictions. I will definately go back and enjoy a longer stay. The innkeeper was very accommodating and friendly.

"Charming centrally located bed & breakfast"
The Station Street Bed & Breakfast is a comfortable, clean inn. Becky is a very welcoming and informative hostess. She, along with fellow guests, provided invaluable tips and suggestions on things to see in Astoria and surroundings. All in all, a wonderful experience and I would recommend this inn to anyone staying in the Astoria area.

"Comfy bed, good food, friendly people"

We were given the top floor. It's a long walk up for older folks but worth it. You get the entire top floor! Large bathroom with claw foot tub, cosy tv/reading area (with a collection of DVDs, including "Short Circuit" which was filmed partly in Astoria), comfy viewing window over the river, complete with telescope and binoculars supplied. And above the comfy queen bed? Glow-in-the dark stars (!). You can walk down the hill to the Maritime Museum, Riverfront Trolley, good restaurants and other attractions nearby. Also, walk UP the hill and around the neighborhood to see streets full of 19th century houses all on the National Register of Historic places. Your host,or the tourist office, can supply a walking guide.

We stayed here 2 nights recently for the Astoria Regatta. It's easy walking distance to everything downtown. Astoria has lots of good restaurants, cute little places to poke around in and close to lots of sightseeing. The owner was wonderful and so were the breakfasts. We stayed in the Starlight Suite which was on the 3rd floor (no elevator ). It had a great view 9f the river. All in all, a good place to stay in Astoria.

I chose the Franklin for its convenient central location and affordable rate. What I didn`t expect was such an incredible room with expansive views, comfortable furnishings, beautiful breezes cooling the uppermost room where we stayed and such a charming host. She made it special. I highly recommend it.

We stayed in the Majestic Suite complete with kitchenette and it was perfect. The bed is very comfortable and the room had old world charm. The owner, Becky Greenway, was raised in Astoria and was very helpful in making recommendations. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. The house is perfectly located close to town but quiet for restful sleep. We have stayed in B&B properties all over the world and I would have no hesitation in recommending this property to anyone visiting historic Astoria. Thank you Becky for your warm hospitality. We will return.

We had a lovely stay for a romantic long weekend. The location was perfect for walking down town and to the river. From our room, on the top floor, the view was fantastic. The bed was comfortable, the claw foot tub was nice and the breakfast was good. Our complaints: - the pillows could use replacement. - the shower is low pressure/bad shower head. It was fine, but if I had big hair it would have been a problem. - it would have been nice to have breakfast options. I don't eat pancakes/waffles/toast, so it would have been nice to select options rather than feel like we were wasting so much food.

shabby to say the least.........the carpets were full of fleas as becky has dogs. Also, the mortuary across the street starts its operations about midnight, so we could hear the operation fireing up if the windows were open..............would never stay again as we are still recovering from the flea bites....................

"Room ok, location ok. Everything else not ok."

We notified the B&B we were gluten free. So we got fruit, scrambled eggs and a slab of meat for every breakfast. No presentation not even some salsa to perk up very bland eggs. The room itself was not bad, but the whole place is looking quite shabby and the neighborhood is run down. Very disappointing B & B experience.

We stopped into Astoria on our ten day road trip through Oregon. Becky at the Frankin St Station B&B, made us feel extremely welcome and greeted us with a smile and an introduction to the local area. We stayed in the Majestic Suite, which was spacious, with a private shower room, kitchenette and balcony. If you could look past the ornate bed canopy, the room and the building were great. The breakfast was simple but ample and it was great to chat to the other guests about their travels. I would definitely head back to this B&B next I'm heading down the Oregon coast and Becky offered a good deal for a two night stay with a discount for our second night.

We had a lovely stay here. We booked the Enchanted Haven, but got upgraded to Sweet Tranquility. How nice?! The bed was comfy and I liked the big clawfoot tub. The view was great and the breakfast delicious.
