"Good for family of 4 visiting Paris"
This is a good 2-BR apartment for a family of 4 visiting Paris. The furnishings are modern albeit minimal and the apartment is clean and comfortable. There is no daily housekeeping but the apartment has a washing machine. The apartment is located in a good neighborhood with convenient bars, stores, and restaurants, and is conveniently next to the Bastille […] Metro stop. On one or two nights there was loud noise in the street below the rear of the apartment with the windows wide open but this was not a major problem. The apartment was a good base for our touristing. Would stay here again although next time in Paris we will probably want to experience a new neighborhood. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Still our favourite place to stay in Paris"

Lovely hotel in a great area, this was our third stay. Staff were courteous and very helpful. Our only criticism would be the lack of a full length mirror in the room, and perhaps the need for a little TLC.
"Good Location - Bad Shower"

The hotel and the staff are very accommodating. However, the room and in particular the shower leave a lot to be desired. We stayed in room 12. We literally had about 3 feet on each side of the double bed. The bathroom was small. The shower was in a triangle shape in the corner. There were double doors going into the shower which leaked. The doors could not open fully because of the sink and the shower head. Thankfully I am medium built people (six foot, 160 lbs) I could not turn around in the shower unless I scrunched my shoulders in and did some fancy foot work. Forget about bending down to wash your legs or feet - impossible. Needless to say a bad shower when walking around all day and staying four nights was not very fun. Unfortunately I did not take a photo of the shower, but it definitely does not look like any other photo on this site nor anything I have ever experienced before. Besides that, the hotel is clean and okay place to sleep. They do give you an outdated key card, which is larger than a credit card. It is walking distance from some nice little shops, bakery, sweet shop, good cafes. I can not recommend this place because of the shower.
"Very hospitable, quaint and in a great neighborhood!"

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay. The staff was attentive, the establishment is clean, and we were in a great spot. I would definitely stay there again. They don't have a bar. What they do have is a small selection of liquor and wines. Just tell the staff what you want, and someone will get it for you. Also, there is always someone at the front desk, 24/7. When you leave, you leave your key at the front desk. When you return, you retrieve it. Very safe, cute, and nice. Thank you for a positive experience!
"Weekend in Paris"

Stayed 2 nights here with a friend. First time staying in the Marais district...usually choose to be more centrally located to tourist sites, but wanted to try something new and less touristy this time. Loved the area, especially the boulangerie directly across the street! :) Hotel staff were very helpful and breakfast room was lovely. Room 14 was very small with 2 single beds inch(es) apart, but adequate. Some difficulty closing bathroom door. Metro was nearby and plenty to see and do within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.
"Lovely place to stay in the Marais"

This hotel is lovely and the staff are extremely helpful. The best aspects are the location, degree of comfort, small nice touches, and the staff. Rooms are very small, but you don't go to Paris to stay in your room. You can hear bumps in adjacent rooms, but not conversation. Thick drapes keep light and noise from entering the windows. The staff were friendly and helpful. My husband and I had a very early flight, and they arranged the taxi and even opened the breakfast room an hour early so that we could have coffee and pastries and fruit before we left. The small size of the hotel lets staff learn your face and room number, so it feels personal. I could even talk to the person who cleaned the room to tell her what needed to be changed and what didn't. She worked around our schedule and respected our needs. It all felt very human. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends.

Hotel was a bit rundown and room very cramped for two people but lovely reception and dining rooms and brilliant location. Drains slightly blocked so not very effective. Walls need additional sound insulation. Good room service.
"Modern in the Marais"

This hotel is nicely situated in the Marais and just around the corner from the lovely Place des Vosges. The room was somewhat cramped but clean and modern looking. The bathroom had been upgraded and was very nice. The Rue de Turenne does not seem that busy during the day, but at night it did seem like the traffic was quite loud. To make matters worse, there seemed to be a clatter of plumbing noises during the night. The breakfast room was beautiful and plentiful with food. The reception staff seemed uneven. One woman was very friendly and accommodating while other young men always seemed preoccupied, unfriendly, and on their personal cell phones.
"A good place to stay whilst in Paris"

This is a very decent place to stay whilst in Paris. Location is great, Marais is our preferred location as it's vibrant and interesting, close cab ride from Eurostar, and generally within walking distance to main sites. We found service to be very good. The street can be noisy, rooms and bathroom are small but manageable. but that's Paris. Price is good value for Paris. Bonus is there is a delicious bakery on the corner opposite and no need for an alarm clock, smell of fresh croissants baking wafts on up in the mornings.
"An excellent choice for Paris"

We stayed here a year ago (I'm a bit delayed in writing my trip advisor reviews!) This was such a great find. We wanted to stay somewhere central (but not immediately within the craze of the main tourist attractions), not too expensive, and charming. This place fit all the requirements perfectly! Marais is a gorgeous, vibrant area in Paris, with amazing bistros and shops. This hotel was close to the metro station, so it was very easy to get everywhere, and if I remember right it was about a 30 minute walk to Notre Dame. We even walked all the way to the Champs Elysees along the Seine, although that was an hour or more which resulted in a lot of blisters. The hotel itself was very charismatic, especially in the reception area and lounge. The staff were very friendly and patient with my awful French, even giving me some tips on pronunciation. The rooms are very small, which my partner who had been to Paris before said is to be expected everywhere. They were very clean and modern though. Good value for Paris, I would recommend it to anyone travelling here.
We loved our hotel - the staff was so helpful, and it was in a great location. Our room was excellent - and cleaned to perfection each day. A great bakery next door and a wonderful restaurant on the corner - Le Royal Turenne! Loved every minute of our stay:))
