Ideale ligging op slechts 5 min lopen van station, midden in de winkelstraat en ook slechts 5 min van de Arno, waar aan de overkant het historische centrum ligt. Personeel was erg aardig, sprak goed Engels en gaven tips over Pisa.Genuine Expedia guest review

Finding this hostel was a HUGE hassle :( It had moved locations without stating it on the website nor notifying us, so we spent a stressful two hours walking around in the heat of the day in June. Once we found it, we were disappointed to find out that they had no AC. The shower was horrible. We got roomed with a older man who made us feel super uncomfortable. Then after one miserably hot night of being eaten alive by mosquitos we ate breakfast near by and came back to find out my iPad was stolen. Unfortunately, they couldn't do anything about it because all the doors were unlocked so ANYONE could have come in and taken it...
"Good functional hostel"

Plus points: the staff here are good and friendly, the bed was comfortable, and the hostel is walking distance from the train station and sights. Negatives: nothing amazing about the place and slightly dated get up.

I spent one night in this hostel and that was more than enough. The bathrooms looked like they had not been cleaned in years, the showered were very grimy and there were signs everywhere saying not to flush toilet paper. A staff member busted into our room at 2345 and was surprised the lights were off, he proceeded to turn the main light on (even though there were four people sleeping) and brought in late checkins. This would have been fine had he not then stood in the middle of the room loudly discussing which beds they could have before leaving and returning with sheets to make the beds. After which they all walked out leaving the door open and the lights on not to return for over and hour. You would think in a hostel that closes for 3 hours in the day beds would be made and ready to go, especially for spontaneous late night arrivals.
"Just ok - a place to put your head down."

This would have been my most disappointing hostel stay throughout my europe trip. The beds were dirty (need new linen), The hostel itself was outdated and old. For us it was a real pain to get in and out of the hostel, there are two main doors that become locked in the evening, we had to wait 20minutes for someone to let us in the hostel as they were at another hostel site. Even getting out was a game, having to reach my arm outside the locked gate to buzz reception to unlock it. Good things is its very central, right on the main strip. Shower had hot water and was some what clean. Kitchen facilities, and wifi (however the wifi doesn't work in the rooms). Lockers in the rooms to lock your stuff up. To be honest, for the price you paid the cleanliness and rundown decore is what put us off the most. And there wasn't that warmly communicative feeling with the staff.
"Very Friendly Staff and Comfortable but Security is Lacking."
We were in a double room (that could be a triple due to the single bunk on top of the double bed) with shared bathroom. There were 2 showers & 2 toilets shared between 4 rooms that I believe were all similar to our own. There was a communal area & small kitchen in our little flat which was in a different building about 5 minutes walk from the main hostel. This was fine but in order to lock the door on arrival you had to unlock it to get in and then lock it again on the outside before going inside if you didn't want anyone to get in. Others staying in the hostel seemed to forget about this so we often found it unlocked. Apart from this the hostel was nice and all the staff were very friendly and made good recommendations of places to eat/drink on an evening.

this hostel is ideal. ideally located on a high street so really easy to find. the hostel has a great common room to hang out, play pool and meet other guests. very very cool. the kitchen was incredibly basic. theres only a microwave so i couldnt cook at all. which was a shame. the bathroom was clean but the shower head over the bath didnt have a holder so i didnt bother with it. despite getting to the hostel in the morning i was told i could leave my luggage but couldnt check in. there was nowhere secure to leave the luggage, only at reception which was a shame. no breakfast at all. tea/coffee ingredients would have been nice. however for £13 a night. this was good.

Cheap, friendly and perfect location on the main road from the station to the attractions (tower etc). This hostel is run by great owners and helpful staff, the only problem is the number of stairs to get up to the place itself (not recommended for heavy luggage).
"Not too bad to stay for a night"

Pros: The hostel is in the middle of the town, not too far from supermarkets, video games and pool for travelers after a long day Cons: staff was half the time never at the front desk when you needed them, rooms get way to hot that you have to open up the windows at night and let the mosquitoes in
"Such a delight for a low price"

This place is not recommended for those with heavy luggage - i.e. myself who had 30kg worth that needed to be lugged up too many flights of stairs. The place itself was great, we got a 5 person room for just the two of us and the toilet was clean and acceptable also. The staff were very nice. I left my passport there very early morning and couldn't find a way back in as everything locks behind you - by some lock I ended up getting in and waking the person up - who was very accommodating given he was half asleep! if I was traveling with a budget and a smaller backpack , I'd return.

It is a good place, the location is very good, close to the train station. The rooms was Ok. The biggest problems are: 1) Some dirty toilets. I used one that was ok, my friend used another that was not ok, It is probably caused by impolite guests. 2) if you need to use the kitchen, for me it was impossible. Is dirty, the kitchen and the stuff. I really cant use it on that conditions. The staff were really nice when we arrive, but when we were getting out, the other girl was not that nice.
