"Such a delight for a low price"

This place is not recommended for those with heavy luggage - i.e. myself who had 30kg worth that needed to be lugged up too many flights of stairs. The place itself was great, we got a 5 person room for just the two of us and the toilet was clean and acceptable also. The staff were very nice. I left my passport there very early morning and couldn't find a way back in as everything locks behind you - by some lock I ended up getting in and waking the person up - who was very accommodating given he was half asleep! if I was traveling with a budget and a smaller backpack , I'd return.

It is a good place, the location is very good, close to the train station. The rooms was Ok. The biggest problems are: 1) Some dirty toilets. I used one that was ok, my friend used another that was not ok, It is probably caused by impolite guests. 2) if you need to use the kitchen, for me it was impossible. Is dirty, the kitchen and the stuff. I really cant use it on that conditions. The staff were really nice when we arrive, but when we were getting out, the other girl was not that nice.
"Good hostel perfect location!"
The location on the main shopping strip of Pisa is great. Easy to get to the station and the tower. When we arrived the receptionist was nice and friendly. We found out we would be staying at another building about 2 minutes away. At first I was a bit worried about this but once getting there it was fine. Clean rooms bathrooms. The kitchen wasn't great with no bowls plates or spoons etc but we didn't use it anyway. Free wifi aswell is always good. Would recommend it mainly due to the location being great.
"the worst hostel ever"

scent of marijuana in the evening, drunk and noisy friends of manager during the night, so-called clean sheets and blankets, with no color, after being washed dozens of times, dirty kitchen and toilet. One thing that protect this place from God's wrath, is it's position in the historical centre of Pisa.
"Pretty good location"

We chose to stay here as we were in Pisa for one night only. We arrived quite late and as it was nighttime we managed to walk past the inconspicuous door once or twice before finally finding it. If there was a rating for security this place would be 6/5! The reception people were friendly and told us where we could get a late night feed after checking us in. There is a small common room area with some books and computer to use. In the day time the receptionist told us of a place that had good gelato, and it wasn't far at all to walk to the Leaning Tower. Price was pretty good too, and there are plenty of shops nearby. Would recommend this place as it is quite central!
"A bit random, good location"

Having stayed in a great number of hostels in my time, I would rate this as average. The award behind the reception desk rating the staff the friendliest of year xxxx was clearly slightly out of date. The welcome was slightly standoffish, our double room was a reasonable size and cleanish. The arrangement in the bathroom with the toilet essentially in the shower bizarre. On the plus side the location was good and there was free wifi. The breakfast that was notionally included comprised a selection of random things in a shelf that you could help yourself to, having no idea how long they had been there or what had happened to them in the interim we didn't partake. The price was less than a cheap hotel but the good reviews that convinced us to book were misleading. It's worth considering if you're staying in Pisa but on the basis of price alone.
"Do not stay at this place!"

I have to say, in the hole trip this was the worst experience!! When we first arrived at this hostel the receptionist seemed to be drunk and the place was stinking! Then they told us that there was no room left at the hostel and we wold stay at anothe place, they also told us that this other place belong to the hostel. When we got there, it was awfull!! The bathrooms were extremely dirty, the place was a mess!!They had no staff ou internet or any kind of facilities in this other house!!!At the next day we went to the hostel to have breakfast and the reception guy didn´t even remember us. Very unsafe. Terrible experience..
"Great value, great fun"

Having stayed in another hostel in Pisa previously I was very pleased with the quality and cleanliness of Walking Street Hostel. I stayed in a 3 bed room (I booked a 4 bed so that was great as I had more space) for 2 nights. The first night I stayed I actually had the dorm all to myself as no other guests had booked in. At around 20 euros a night this place is great value. However there is an additional cost when you rent bedding. The location is good, about 10 minute walk to the station and 15 to the airport. Pisa is a fairly small town so easy to get around anyway. Socially the hostel is great and there is a big outdoor garden area wit benches for you to eat at, sit at, drink at, soak up some sun at. Staff on the reception were fantastic and very friendly and helpful. I would stay again if in Pisa.

Decent location about 10 minutes walk from the central train station, and about 20 minutes from the Leaning Tower. Facilities aren't bad. Prices not exactly cheap. Room was basic but clean. However, there were electrical wires exposed and holes in the wall covered by newspaper taped over them. Overall, I wouldn't be in a rush back, but I wouldn't be too upset if I had to spend one night here again.
"Rather good hostel in Pisa"

I spent two days at the walking street hostel. It is ideally located, only a few minutes away from the main train station, and very close too to the old town and the famous Piazza dei Miracoli. This hostel occupies the 3rd floor of one of the building of one of the main streets of the neighbourhood. The people at the reception are friendly and helpful, and available up to about 2 o'clock in the morning. The hostel itself is clean, and of human dimensions, which makes you feel you at home. The dormitories are not too large, and quite comfortable. There is air-co in all rooms which is simply great in the incredibly warm summer days. The sanitaries are clean, but since there are only two, you might have to wait for quite some time to take a shower or go to the toilets (in the same room) There is also a nice common area, but only one computer there. So unless you have your own tablet, you might never be able to spend some minutes on the computer, as I experienced it. In short, quite good place where to stay, even if there is maybe still room for some improvements, like a simple breakfast which should be included considering the price per night (count about 30 euros)
