"Very satisfied! Plan to stay there next year"
My 16 yr old daughter and I stayed there for 9 nights. We read all reviews and although we agreed with some -- the room is small -- I couldn't be happier with our stay. The hotel is located in Ginza -- primed location for shopping! Across the street from the underground/train. Restaurants and shops all around. Although the room is small this is a hotel […] for you to sleep in, wake up in the morning and head out returning tired ready for another day of Tokyo fun. This is not a posh hotel where you will lay back and "rest" while enjoying the space. This hotel is ideal for someone who is there to enjoy this amazing city who needs a clean space to sleep. "Four star hotel in a fourth of the space"
Rooms are very small but everything else was great. Luxurious stay for the active traveler. We stayed three nights in a APA hotel over our six night stay. Will stay again when we come back to TokyoGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Basic business - clean and reasonable."
Hotel is strictly basic business hotel, room size typical of Tokyo. Room was clean and functional. Breakfast was only Japanese style, so I did not partake.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Clean, Quiet, Well Located"
Clean, comfortable and quiet, a whole lot to like. This hotel is within a short walk to the Tokyo main RR station but on a side street which makes it quiet. The tavern in the hotel only serves a Japanese style breakfast and the front desk staff does not always have English speakers available but with goodwill and patience it should workout well. Note: […] there is another APA Ginza hotel less than 2 blocks away but both hotels are cool with the mixup. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great place - small rooms"
Fantastic neighborhood and great price. The staff is friendly although they are very strict on check in times. We arrived 2:45 pm and was ask to wait 15 min. It is hard to find a better deal in Tokyo but prepare yourself for a small room. We could not even find a place to keep our suitcase!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Believe the hype: rooms are TINY!"
Believe the other reviews: the rooms are TINY. I figured "oh, how bad can it really be?" This is smaller than any hotel room I've ever seen by a significant margin. There was a double bed -- and it BARELY fit into the non-hallway space of the room. I spent quite a bit of time in that bed pondering how they managed to actually build the bedframe. It […] must have been quite a challenge, because there was only about 2-3 inches of leeway around the edges of the bed. The room itself was clean, but it was quite interesting to try to repack our bags for the trip back to the States... and we only had two carryon-sized bags! Nice shower, good location, good cleanliness, mediocre-poor value... I probably wouldn't stay here again, though. I'd try an AirBnB instead. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Very nice modern hotel. Everything seemed quite new and in good condition along with a good wifi connection in the room. Also a great very central location.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Terrific location! Clean room and helpful staff."
This hotel was such a lucky find. The location is spectacular. Two different train stations were less than a 5-minute walk from the hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and very accommodating. Our room was surprisingly large and very clean. We had plans to stay somewhere else, and we canceled them so we could come back to this hotel! It was ter […] rific! "Great hotel but a little difficult to find!"
The hotel was great for the price considering it was in Ginza. Even though the room was small, it was perfect for one person! Everything looked new and clean!! It was like a hidden gem in Ginza. It was a little difficult to find from the JR station. Other than that, I would definitely stay there again!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Reasonable cost and convenient to Tokyo Station"
Typical very small size Japanese hotel room, but clean, comfortable, and reasonably close to Tokyo Station.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Solo travel trip"
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The service was great, and the location was just a few minutes from the train station the runs the Ginza line (easiest access to everything). The room was perfect size for me although I must admit it is a Tokyo sized hotel room. Me sure to ask the front desk about catching a bus to Narita airport if you're flying from […] there. It was by far the cheapest and fastest way to go. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Taxi driver had some difficulty finding the place, but otherwise convenient.Typical Japanese hotel (small). Some of the unique amenity was very nice. After a certain time, surrounding area gets very quiet, but Yuurakuchou is in walking distance.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"room is small but.."
it is clean and almost all amenities available. the tv is big relative to the room size. it is close to a subway station. the price is reasonable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Great for short stay if you are travelling light, rooms may be too small for long vacations if you have lots of luggage. Extra pillows were provided upon request. Very close to Kyobashi station and 20 min walk from Tokyo Central. For those who consider wifi to be critical, I had strong service in my room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Small, but sufficient"
My daughter and I flew into Tokyo and stayed here one night before heading to Kyoto. The hotel is within walking distance of Tokyo Station, and the price is right. Don't expect room to move around though! Very tiny, but clean and functional for our purpose.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Very nice hotel, good location, quiet. Except for one person, staff wasn't very helpful with maps, etc. Also, could definitely do without the APA Hotel owner's right-wing literature on display in the room - weird. No ice machine and the fridge completely turns off when you leave (like other Japanese hotels, the electricity goes on/off when you come […] in with your pass card - but in this one the fridge didn't stay on and in some others it does). "Good business hotel"
As expected, small rooms and not much spoken English. However, it was very convenient, clean and functional. It looks brand new. Good Japanese breakfast buffet for about $11. I would stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Location. Just for sleeping."
This hotel was at a very good location. In Ginza, known as a more expensive neighborhood, this hotel was very close to multiple subway lines that took you where you needed to go. The Haneda airport was a straight shot to this hotel with about a 3-minute walk. The hotel rooms itself was extremely small. There was room for a bed and this is it! Not a […] good place to stay if you are someone to sit and hang out in the hotel room. Really good if you are doing things all day and just need some place to store your things and go to sleep. "Nice hotel near Tokyo Station"
I stayed four days and three nights in a room on the 11th (top) floor. The staff was friendly, the room was comfortable and clean, and I had no problems while I stayed there. The room is average sized for Japan. The staff tried their best to help when I had questions about sightseeing, and the location was wonderful for traveling around Tokyo by train […] or subway. "Small room, neighborhood not great"
The room was so small it was hard to move around, but the place was clean and the staff was friendly. The neighborhood is very bland/finance-y, and would be a great place to stay if you are into high-end shopping, but otherwise I would recommend somewhere outside of Shibuya or Shimokitazawa for younger travelers interested in cheaper restaurants and […] more of a neighborhood vibe. "Perfect central location"
Although the room was very small, we were extremely pleased with our stay at the APA Ginza. The room itself is very clean and comfortable - because of the small space, we put our two suitcases on top of the desk. We also appreciated the bottled water when our room was cleaned. It is very close to both Kyobashi and Tokyo Stations, which is great for […] getting around the city. The surrounding Ginza area is very nice. Be sure to check out the high fashion in Ginza, the basement level food courts in the department stores, and ask the front desk for recommendations on sushi. The staff didn't speak much English, but at least enough to get us checked in and point us in the direction of some great food. They directed us to an amazing spot near the freeway - we returned many times to our favorite sushi and yakitori places! "Great- once you find it."
I had a good stay here- once I found the place, it was very convenient to everything, including the Metro. However, be sure to do your research before trying to go there, because it is tucked in a side street with very little signage. What makes it worse is that there is another APA property across the busy roadway that is very well marked. So, you […] could end up like me. Getting into the wrong one- only to then be told to walk down the street. Even with directions I then had trouble finding this place. But once you do - all is good. "Tokyo 2014 Review"
This is a typical Tokyo "business type" hotel meaning (very) small rooms. Aside from the size of the room, however, the hotel is great: modern, well equipped, great service, super clean. In other words has everything one would expect. Location in Ginza near main train station is superb and overall is great value for money. Perhaps the only other drawback […] (not really a big deal though) is the single elevator they have and in busy times, like checkout in the morning has trouble keeping up with the needs. Still, i can really recommend this hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

I was looking for a budget hotel located near Tokyo station and this hotel fit the bill. It was difficult to find for a first timer but its location on a side street actually ended up being a plus in this otherwise busy section of the city. Above all, the staff was excellent and honest. "Perfect location for the price"
It's fairly updated. Bedding and bathroom looked really clean, except the bathroom was stinking with an urine smell. Perfect location. 7-8 min walk to the imperial palace and less than a minute to major subway lines.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very small room, but that's all I needed!"
I booked it for 2 more nights after my business trip, and being by myself, the accommodation was perfect. For two, the room would really have been a little too small, but if all you need is a place to sleep, this is a great solution! only 1 minute away from 2 metro stations, strategically located in the fashionable and trendy Ginza, it is very quiet. […] Only negative is the heating system, a noisy overhead heater/cooler, the thermostat with Japanese-only buttons, after it reaches the desired temperature (heating) it keeps blowing cool air and then starts blowing hot air again: kinda of a waste! "Overnight Airport Connection"
Hotel is too far into city for an overnight flight connection. Wont do this again... Hotel rooms are miniature, and the feel is that of a rent by the hour motel room in US, although a lot cleaner and well maintained, it was not worth the 200 plus dollars a night. Very close to the famous Ginza district, but I was just passing through from a flight from […] Narita to Hodeida Airport. Will not do this ever again... Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Very good hotel for the price"
It was centrally located right in the middle of the Ginza area (though off on a side street and the address didn't show up on my GPS, so it took a few minutes to find initially). I paid about 140 USD per night, which was pretty amazing for the area. Because of this, I was a little worried that it would be a roach motel, but it was actually very nice. […] Clean, efficiently run, and all the modern conveniences. And they left a Japanese robe and some origami on my bed when I checked in! The room was extremely small, about the size of the cruiseship cabin. But I expected this considering the price and the fact that everything in Japan is smaller than what you see in the US. If you're ok with a tiny room, you'll be very happy with this hotel. I just needed a place to sleep for my two day adventure in Tokyo. The only small challenge, were the language skills of the staff. They were able to speak English well enough to check me in an answer basic questions, but more complicated questions were difficult. There appeared to be someone in the back who spoke better English so the 2 people who checked me in kept going in the back to get confirmation about how to answer a question. However, as was the case everywhere in Japan, they were extremely nice about it and tried their best. Overall, for the price I paid in this location and the amenities included, it was a very good value and I was very happy with my stay. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We chose this hotel because of its proximity to Tokyo Station and reasonable price. We needed to head to Narita Airport the next day and wanted to stay relatively close to Tokyo Station so that we could catch N'Exp directly. The hotel is less than 10 min walk from Tokyo Station and even closer to Yurakucho or Kyobashi. It was a bit difficult to find […] because it is tucked in the alley near lots of pubs and bars, but not dangerous or anything. "Simple, clean, just fine"
The rooms are small... But it is in Tokyo, so that's par for the course. The in-hotel breakfast is Japanese-style (so look that up and be prepared if you are used to a western-style buffet). The service is friendly and welcoming. The things not provided are soap and a flannel/washcloth: There are dispensers for body-wash, shampoo and hair conditioner. […] Personally, I like soap... The hotel is a block from Kyobashi Metro Station and 10-15 minutes walk from Tokyo Railway Station (where the Narita Express connects). Check the map and remember that the blocks are quite small compared with most American or European cities: I initially walked past the street and had to back-track. "Good hotel but expect to be very small room"
Not bad but the room was so small that it couldn't fit two suitcases along the walk way. The bathroom was a small cubical so it was so uncomfortable.
