This was an amazing experience and I would definitely return. It is a tremendous value for the money. Service was excellent, pool was pristine, room/villa was comfortable, private and beautiful. Highly recommend.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Our room was generally good but the fireplace (which was one of the main attraction's) didn't work the whole time, so it loses pointsGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"perfect Napa wine country location"
Our visit could not have been more pleasurable--minutes from Napa, Yountville, Oakville, Calistoga; delicious breakfasts; van service to area restaurants; helpful and friendly staff; clean, attractive rooms; truly lovely gardens.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"super courteous service"
It is certainly not a modern hotel and there is no TV. These things are a blessing here because it was very peaceful and the grounds were a beautiful garden. It helped that in spring everything was blooming. Quiet, HUGE Jacuzzi tub, comfortable in every respect. Balcony was clean and private, perfect for late balmy nights.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The room was beautiful. Great views deep in the heart of wine country. A super breakfast .A very comfortable bed and hot tub. The staff was so friendly and inviting. I would say a wonderful place.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice quiet hotel with beautiful views."
I was there for a conference and found it convenient since it was close to where the conference was being help. In addition, the staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Location! Clean! Amazing amenities!"
You will not find a finer place to stay in wine country than here. It is by far the cleanest place I've ever stayed and I only stay at 5 star. At first I was upset because there was carpet in the rooms but it was perfectly clean and served as a the perfect sound barrier. The afternoon complementary tastings (wine & delicious healthy apps) were amazing..the […] food was truly superior; they have a full kitchen staff at all times. I am a clean freak and I can assure you that you will find no cleaner place than this and no better location than this. The best part for us was their "Winery PASSPORT" which truly -- recommended the finest wineries in the valley. We are new club members in over half of their recs. And they were complimentary tastings on their "passport." I promise you will get no better deal than this anywhere. I can assure you that I will never stay anywhere other than this when I return in the fall!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"OK but not Ideal"
We choose this location primarily because our normal go-to hotel (Harvest Inn) wasn't readily available. On paper it sounded similar but our stay wasn't. Part of the issue may have been the room selection. My wife was still smoking at the time, so we selected a room with a patio that was in the main building. There was limited access with flights of […] stairs or a path through the plantings outside. The room was smaller; lacked a refrigerator/microwave; had no TV; and the bath room was small and cramped. The bed was too soft. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and we weren't able to sample the breakfast or evening wine tasting. The location might be fine for others, but we won't be returning. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice place in the heart of wine country."
Everything was top notch. Staff very pleasant and accomodating. Breakfast was awesome. Wines were excellant. Scenery was breathtaking!Genuine Expedia guest review
This place really let me down. I booked the Wine Country Inn based off it being advertised as a 'Romantic Getaway', and as being a quiet couples retreat. Unfortunately the room next to us was a family with a small child. We heard constant crying, and parents yelling at their child from our room. It was also odd during the evening wine tasting & appetizers […] in the lobby, to have a small child watch a bunch of adults sip wine. In my opinion the Hotel should have a no children policy. There isn't even T.V's in the rooms to keep them occupied. This was NOT the romantic getaway my wife and I were looking for. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Clean but dated. One small window over looking parking lot. Not at all a feeling of being in wine country. Very over priced for the quality.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Excellent wine country Inn"
other than a bed that was way too soft, we really enjoyed our stay and the way this staff operates this inn. A terrific setting surrounded by Vineyards just a few minutes from St. Helena get you immersed in the spirit of Napa wine country. The Inn is very well designed and maintained, some of the rooms a quite old, some newer. The family that owns this […] property puts incredible effort into the landscape, the other small but important details of creating great ambiance. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Very nice grounds. Location excellent."
Our room was not great but the hotel itself was great. Nice wine served at 4:30. Pool and grounds great and location to wineries and restaurants great. Just our room was pretty small and pretty basic.Genuine Expedia guest review
Our stay was wonderful! We got a free upgrade to a cottage which was perfect and so romantic. The facility is beautiful and clean.Genuine Expedia guest review
"An AMAZING Jewel in Napa Valley"
From the minute you check in to your check out this B&B offers everything you could ever want for a romantic stay in the beautiful wine country. The rooms are charming and very comfortable with unique decor that makes you feel like your at your own home. The breakfast each morning is to die for!! Do not confuse this with the typical "continental breakfast" […] touted at most hotels. This is a full on gormet meal with hot items, fresh fruit and vegtables from their own garden. From the staff always being there for your every need, knowing you by name, and the location in the heart of wine country, we will not stay anywhere else when we visit! "Perfect...except for WiFi problem"
Absolutely loved this hotel...except for the WiFi issue. We were first told that the WiFi would not work in our room, so we had to use it in the common area....but even there it was sporadic. This was an inconvenience for us...if you don't vare about WiFi, or if the problem is fixed, there is nothing you will not love about the Wine Cou try Inn!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Fabulous! We will for sure return!!"
Everything about Wine Country Inn is great! The rooms are lovely, the grounds are beautiful & the staff is wonderful!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Poor value for money..."
The property is the star here- the rooms and the grounds are very nice. But for me, it is an extremely expensive B&B, and really needs to do more to provide value for money. Breakfasts provided could be great - but instead were just OK. Again, for the rates charged, it would have been nice to have glasses vs plastic cupsfor juice, and something better […] than make them yourself waffles. No real mini bar in rooms, and you get soft drinks by coming nto the main building and taking from an honor bar. Lovely crockery and cups, but nothing to cook anything on, and no room service to order off. No lunches or dinners are served - probably understandably, given the number of great local restaurants. But to have NO capability to offer any food, even light snacks, when the nearest town is a drive away, seems to me to be missing much needed service, especially if, like us, you flew a long distance, and are a bit jetlagged. The rooms do not have safes, or very much security, and the hotel reception is unmanned between 10pm- 7 am... A little unnerving if you are a solo woman traveller, although I am sure its not a crime hotspot. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
We had a great time from the moment we arrived until we left. Great staff.Beautiful gardens overlooking the vineyard filled with hummingbirds, quail and gorgeous butterflies. Food choices for breakfast were limited but excellent flavour and quality with most of the fruit and vegetables grown in their own garden. Highlight for us was the Wine Tour Inn […] Cursion. Marty our driver was excellent and showed us four different wineries with each being better than the last! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Charming, welcoming and homely"
One of the most charming and homely places I’ve ever stayed. The staff are all incredibly warm and helpful. We had one of the smallest rooms but it was still spacious and comfortable. The wine tasting from 4.30pm til 6pm was great and the accompanying appetisers were delicious. Chef Ryan is a talented guy and the breakfast was also fabulous, with dishes […] such as Denver casserole and homemade zucchini muffins. There is a “designated driver service” which provides a free shuttle to nearby restaurants in the evening. Highly recommended. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

We enjoyed everything about our stay at The Wine Country Inn. The service was impeccable, our room was perfect, and the breakfasts were so delicious that I asked for recipes. The Inn is set next to a vineyard and we really appreciated the view, and the peace and quiet. We highly recommend The Wine Country Inn and we are already planning our next visit.

We stayed 5 nights at Wine Country Inn and had an great vacation. The room, service and views were great. We had a great breakfast every morning and a wine tasting and Hors d'oeuvres every afternoon at the inn was great. The Incursion is a good way to check out the wineries. We also appreciated the free shuttles to the restaurants at night after a day of wine tastings.
"Excellent all around"
They thought of everything! Taxi ride to and from dinner, set you dinner reservations for you, etc. The breakfasts were very nice and the chef even made special things to accommodate my gluten Intollerance. The evening wine tasting and cheese, etc. Was great and we really enjoyed this extra layer of wine tasting above and beyond what we did in our own.
"This is the best...skip the rest"

Quite possibly the best place to stay while in Napa Valley. This is not your typical bed and breakfast. Rooms are luxuriously appointed, the grounds are breathtaking and the pool area is divine. The staff are extraordinarily friendly and accommodating. The property is surrounded by vineyards making you feel as if you were on a private vineyard estate. A perfect destination for a romantic weekend away.

This was my second stay at the Wine Country Inn and there's a reason we came back. The customer service is incredible. They truly care about you have a wonderful time in the area. The staff is so attentive and helpful at every turn. From the breakfast in the morning and the appetizers and wine in the afternoon (which is all included in your stay) they go above and beyond any other hotel experience. I love that they drive you to dinner and pick you up. This time we stayed in one of the cottages, which sits on the vineyard and it was amazing. Very large, with an incredible bathroom. I just can't say enough about this place. They make you feel at home.
"Wonderful start to finish!"

My wife and I spent our honeymoon here and from the moment we arrived everything was fabulous. The accomodations were top notch (we had a cottage) and the staff were helpful and extremely knowledgable on what to do and where to go in and around St. Helena. If its your first time to wine country take the wine tour....Marty was great. Overall it was the perfect get away and we would highly recommend it.
"Relaxation to the Max"
07/17/14 David R Yuba City, California
We've booked in at this property numerous times and if you want to enjoy a relaxing weekend this is the place to stay. However, if you are someone who is more in tune with the sports or news channels this is not the place to stay as they do not have a TV in any of the rooms. Each evening they provide a happy hour from 4:30 - 6:00 p.m which features a different winery each night, pouring samples from their winery. The appetizers provided for happy hour are also pretty nice. Each morning they provide a great breakfast which usually includes items that are actually grown on the property. The rooms on this property are all different and unique. Many of the rooms have views of the vineyards while others have a hot tub or spa that is included with the room. The cottages, though pricey, are just gorgeous and provide you with a serene and relaxed feeling. The manager and staff are very so congenial and are one of the biggest reasons we continue to come back. Also, if you are a returning guest there is a discount given. The other reason we frequent this establishment is because they have a shuttle service that runs late in the evening and has allowed us to taste the libations throughout the area. Additionally, you will meet Janelle who can give you a list of all the great places to dine. She is so interesting and a great resource to use. Again, if you want a place to relax and somewhere to use as a base to plan your excursions of the area, we definitely recommend this as a great place to stay.
"The best value"
07/17/14 DoubleV E Newport Beach, California
This is the best place to stay in Napa. I originally had booked a room at one of the pricey, five star hotels, but after dealing with an issue regarding a room upgrade, I decided to cancel and stay here based upon the online reviews. I am so glad I did! We had a private, extremely spacious cottage with a large, private outdoor area overlooking the vineyards. They have a delicious wine tasting in their lobby each day, offer wine tasting passes to many wineries close by, and just in general have very customized and attention oriented customer service. They brought us a fabulous bottle of champagne for our anniversary as well. I will definitely be back!
"Loved our stay!"

We spent one night here, unfortunately, on our way through Napa Valley. It was adorable and had great touches and views! The staff was friendly and we loved the afternoon wine tasting and delicious breakfast! The shuttle service to dinner is also amazing. Would definitely stay again if we are here!
"I Can't Wait to Return ..."

What a beautiful, relaxing Inn. Everything was perfect. The setting was incredible with vineyards and mountains right outside your room. It was set back off a quiet road but yet was close enough to downtown St Helena for great restaurants and shops / galleries. The staff was impeccable and extremely helpful. The room was large enough for an extended stay and it was clean and up to date. Breakfast and Happy Hour events were well done. The gardens and pool area was absolutely beautiful. You could actually walk to four wineries (including Duckhorn) from the Inn. What more can I say? I have already recommended The Wine Country Inn to family and friends and I look forward to returning.
