"Tiny room but great location near train station"
Tiniest room I've ever stayed in, which I suppose is the norm for Tokyo standards. We were given a smoking room which I tried to change to nonsmoking however the hotel was completely booked. Wasn't an issue since the room did not smell of smoke. Despite the shoe box room and lack of storage space for two pieces of luggage (no racks and minimal cabinet space), the room offers modern decor and facilities. Nice big flat screen tv. We had a queen bed and sofabed. Pillows were slightly uncomfortable. Bathroom is like the size of my closet and lacks counter & storage space. Rather than wash cloths, they provide a body cloth which is like a paper towel/cheesecloth combo and very uncomfortable to the skin. The full size shampoo, conditioner and body soap was good quality. Kimono robes were provided and the housekeeping service did a great job. I used the washer/dryer on 3rd floor which is coin operated. Thought it was wierd that there is only a male spa on premises, and that the women's spa is a in a separate building down the street which was inconvenient. Lobby staff very cordial and made sure to always greet us with a welcome smile. Best perk I can say about this hotel is the location to the Akasaka-mitsume train station less than 5 minute walk.

"Good location Nice staff"
The room and bathroom was quite small and when you want fresh air you open the windows and it doesn't have a screen so mosquitoes can come in The toothbrush set barely had any toothpaste all the meals were very boring and lacked of choices The dry cleaning service was very poor they charged me ¥1300 for my jacket and they didn't do a good job and when I complain to them they want me to pay it again to redo it overall I love the location as it had many subway lines and an airport shuttle bus with lots of restaurants and convenience stores

Although the room was small, which is typical for Japan, everything you could need was impressively tucked into the compact space. The location within a narrow alleyway was made up by the nearby restaurants and close distance to the Metro line to easily get around Tokyo.l

"Great Place to Stay in Tokyo"
This hotel was recommended by a friend who lives in Tokyo. It is a great place to stay as it is only 2 blocks from the Akasaka-mitsuke metro station. From there you can reach most places in Tokyo. The rooms are clean and although small compared to US standards are very comfortable. There is high speed wired internet in the room if you need to videoconference, and WiFi throughout the hotel. Japanese style breakfast is included. The hotel personnel is friendly and helpful. There are many restaurants nearby and it won't be difficult to find a place to eat. If you are flying to/from Narita it can be reached by taking the Skyliner train to Ueno metro station, and from there take the Ginza line to Akasaka-mitsuke. Very convenient. I highly recommend this hotel for its location, comfort and price.

"Very convenient hotel, modern"
Great hotel! This hotel is very conveniently located to the M red line (Akasaka-mitsuke stop) of the tokyo metro which will easily connect you to all of the major neighborhoods and JR (Japan Rail) lines. There are a number of restaurants/bars around the hotel-- some Japanese fast food (ie: TENDON bowls), sushi, soup noodles (Udon, Soba), Chinese. The buffet breakfast is excellent in my opinion (rice, miso soup, fish, veggies, fruit cocktail, juices/coffee). Rooms are very clean, staff very nice!. I would definitely stay here again!

"Had a Great Time!"
The hotel was located in a very lively area with LOTS of restaurants! It was also close to Akasakamitsuke Station, which was extremely convenient. We had lots of fun in Tokyo and we can't wait to visit Japan again! The rooms weren't the biggest, but it was Tokyo. They were, however, very clean and sufficient. Do not try to stuff more than 2 people and 1 large baggage in the room. Bathroom was very clean and had all amenities. The shower cloth was so soft!

"Nice location"
We enjoyed our stay until the last night. There was a supposed blockout of power but the lights in our room came on at 3am for an hour. We explained our problem with being woken up in the middle of the night but the staff did not understand the problem. Hotel and location were great otherwise.

"Affordable and great location with helpful staff"
A great hotel for the price when visiting Tokyo. Staff was friendly and helpful, with almost everyone speaking a bit of English. Continental breakfast of rice, miso soup, veggies, and fish, along with cereal and fruit, is not bad. Room was small, which is expected almost everywhere in Tokyo, but comfortable. On the 4th floor the bustle from the street was no problem while sleeping. The only issue was a problem with the air conditioning which was not much of an issue with the mild weather. Most guidebooks fail to mention the amount of interesting sights, restaurants, and things to do in Akasaka. This hotel is a few short blocks from the Akasaka-Mitsuke metro station.

"Very modern and comfortable"
We stay for 2 nights in family room with 2ad+2ch. We have a lot of stays of Tokyo and this hotel was one of best choice. Hotel has very nice location - 1 min walk from Akasaka-Mitsuke metro station and 4 min walk from Akasaka station. Really new hotel with huge beds (for Japan). Very-very comfortable! Bathroom also very large with all necessary items. We have only one problem - the water temperature of shower jumped hot-cold Our rate include breakfast and wifi. Wifi is a little bit slowly, but good for mail and skype. Buffet breakfast is so-so, but enough. Staff was very kindly and we don't have any problems with english. Very recommended

"Nice stay, good value."
For the amount I paid, this was a great hotel room. We got the family room with 4 beds and had lots of room to sleep. The rest of the living quarters were a bit cramped, but that's just how Tokyo is. The hotel is right next to a ton of restaurants and bars, and just down the road from the number 10 exit of the Akasaka-mitsuke station- very easy to get to. The breakfast was terrible though- only assorted breads and a hot broth, the juice was undrinkable, and there were no butters or meats or eggs. The hotel staff spoke very limited English as well, which made it a bit challenging. However, they worked hard to make sure we got what we needed. Will definitely recommend this hotel to friends.

"Excellent price for the location"
This hotel was well located off the Ginza metro line, with most major places (Harajuku, Meiji Shrine, Akihabara, Shibuya) within a 20 minute travel radius. The area around the hotel was very, very nice with tons of restaurants, convenience stores, and a post office with an international ATM if you need to take out more money with a non-Japanese credit card. The only problem was that the staff barely spoke any English - 15 words maximum a person which was a first for me and I've traveled in a lot of countries. Checking in was no problem, they can do that in a number of languages, but if you have any problems or extra requests it will be a challenge. But they were friendly and willing to work with us and with the use of google translate we were able to deal with a couple of minor problems.

"Good location, reasonably comfortable, poor breaky"
Very compact hotel as to be expected in Tokyo. Breakfast really lets the place down as dining area is way too small and gets packed and messy very quickly. Food runs out pretty quick as well particularly if you are late down. On the other hand the male sauna and hot pool on the second floor is excellent, ladies have a short walk to a sister hotel.

"We'd stay here again....."
We had a fantastic stay at the Centurion Hotel Grand Asakasa. We had a family suite which was a single room, however it provided sufficient room for a family of 5....including a 16 & 18 year old. Most of our day was out and about sight seeing so we were not in the room a great deal. When we did return we found the room's bathing facilities and the comfort of the bedding fantastic, plus the room was quiet. Asakasa is a great area to stay in as there are many fabulous places to eat and it seems to be quite central with the Asakasa Mitsuke station being a junction for about 5 different metro lines.
