"Amazing apartments in central Berlin!!!"
Circus Apartments is a great Hotel/Apt in the Mitte neighborhood of Berlin. They have 21 units each named after the 21 most common German last names. I stayed in the Mustermann which was a spacious one bedroom apartment. It came with a fully equipped kitchen, large living room, balcony, bathroom, and bedroom. Everything was modern and actually seemed […] brand new. The building doesn't have a sign stating it is Circus Apts but when you come across the quaint Kitchen Cafe you'll know you're there. A desk in the cafe serves as the lobby and there will always be someone to greet and offer you a welcome drink when you arrive. My favorite part of staying at Circus Apts is waking up in the morning and being able to go just downstairs to a friendly smile and a cup of coffee. The staff is usually busy setting up a breakfast buffet of fruits, yogurts, and many other things. You can choose to sit inside or if the weather is nice there are a few tables set up on the sidewalk. They even provide blankets on the seats for the chilly mornings before the sun shine makes it's way around the buildings. Transportation is also very close by, I was able to make my way to the busier parts of central berlin within 10-15 minutes with the M1 or M12 tram 2 blocks away, and the Rosenthaler Platz station on the U Bahn is only 3-4 blocks away. There's also plenty of stores and restaurants and bars in the area if you do not wish to go far. All in all I had a great stay and will be back. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Modern comfortable spotlessly clean circus apartments"

Quiet location within easy walking distance to museum island and great restaurants within 10 minutes walking. Apartments spotless and friendly welcome on arrival. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Beds so comfy and kitchen well equipped. Go no further than these apartments. You will not be disappointed.
"Exceeded expectations on all fronts"

We selected the Circus Apartments because we were two adults traveling with two adult children so a two bedroom/two bathroom apartment met our space needs. And, the Circus Hotel was rated the highest in terms of service when i went into Trip Advisor late last year. Those two things led me to select these accommodations. Well, not only was the space beautiful, modern, light, airy and immaculate, we ended up absolutely loving the neighborhood. It wasn't at all touristy. Many, if not most, of our "neighbors" were people who lived in the neighborhood so we felt like we were part of a real German neighborhood. The area had the feel of a less crowded, by no less edgy, Soho in New York City. Cool shops, restaurants, a part nearby, walking distance or a short Uban ride from many main Berlin attractions were just a few of the things we discovered upon arrival. And, the staff there could not have been nicer and more accommodating. The presence of a lovely cafe in the lobby of the apartment building added a very convenient and cozy touch. It was open from 7;30 am to 11 pm and had great coffee, tea, snacks etc. My son and I spent several wonderful hours there over coffee and tea playing scrabble. [It was lots of fun to play scrabble in English with German letters; was a quite a different game.] We can't wait to go back and the Circus apartments or hotel will be our first choice again. Recommend it wholeheartedly. Oh, one other thing that impressed me was when I asked about rates and whether they would be different if we came at a different time of year, they told me that their rates are flat throughout the year. Given they are quite reasonable, I was very impressed by that policy.
"Great place to stay in Berlin"

We stayed in these lovely appointed apartments for a week, and by that time they felt like home. The staff are amazing and really helpful, especially Lisanne, Tilman, & Steven, who helped arrange for a lovely bouquet of flowers for valentines day. The apartments are situated in a nice part of the city & not too far from the Hackesher Market square where you can catch the train to all over the city.
"Fantastic - look no further!"

This is a very special place! We booked in last minute because our original accommodation was awful. The staff (especially Steven) could not do enough to help us, they were all so friendly and offered help and information. One of our party is vegan, and as soon as we mentioned that they found out a restaurant for us without even being asked. It really was excellent, individual service. We were booked in quickly, with no fuss. The apartment on the 2nd floor (Walter) was very spacious, immaculately clean with amazing decor and comfy beds/sofas. The cafe downstairs was lovely and cosy with great food at any time of day, you could order a meal and they brought it up to the apartment. The location is excellent - you can walk into the centre in about 30mins, or the underground is just around the corner. Very quiet street.
"Family weekend in Berlin"
We had a great long weekend in Berlin in the ideal location, great value for money and super friendly and professional service (thank you Ivi and Johann) We stayed in the hotel last year and it was great but this is a different class. It feels like you live in Berlin, with a personal concierge and all what you expect from a full service hotel. Circus is a breath of fresh air in Berlin and is setting trends for the industry. We will be back with the rest of our family and friends :o)

I can't even remember how we found this place, but it is amazing. When I go back to Berlin I am definitely staying here again. Amazingly friendly staff who were so helpful when we needed a fan (since it was so hot in Summer) and just friendly with everything we needed. The room was immaculate, spacious and stylish. iPad and wifi password was supplied which was nice for nights in. You even get a mail box! We forgot our train tickets so got to use it. Cannot fault this.
"Amazing- esp for families with small children!"

We stayed for a week in mid-December and thought it was excellent!! There's a cafe downstairs that makes good coffee and has a great buffet breakfast on the weekend. The staff were all genuinely friendly and helpful! In terms of the apartments, we stayed in a two bedroom apartment. They are all new and in pristine condition. The apartment was huge and had lots of room for our kids to race around in- it was even bigger than it looked in the pics. There is a laundry downstairs with two washing machines and a dryer, and there's detergent if you need it. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment, including a dishwasher and they even put a box of children's toys in the apartment! It's mid way between stations on the U2 and u8 which was very handy and there's a Kaiser's supermarket around the corner. There's a couple of parks in walking distance and we walked to Alexanderplatz etc We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.
"What's not to love - amazing hospitality"

We stayed early December 2013 - two couples - in Berlin for sightseeing and Christmas markets. Having stayed before at the hotel, we knew we would enjoy the apartments as well. Only 10 mins walk from Alexanderplatz, in the trendy area of Mitte, with faultless design and the usual Circus welcome. We had a huge apartment with everything you could ask for - quiet location, comfy beds, underfloor heating. Staff super helpful. Love it, love it, love it!
"Clean, spacious and well situated accommodations"
12/16/13 RPG625 Los Angeles, California
I cannot find sufficient words of praise for this excellent apartment. My wife, my three grown children and I traveled to Berlin for a week in late August. We rented a very spacious two bedroom three bathroom apartment from Circus. The living room was massive, the kitchen was very well equipped and the entire place was spotlessly clean and modern. The location was within a block of public transportation and restaurants. The walk into unter den linden was about 20 minutes. The little cafe and mini market downstairs was very convenient and very reasonably priced. The staff could not do enough for us. Whenever we asked for suggestions, help or directions, they always did so with a smile. As an extra added bonus, there is a washing machine and dryer in the basement that can be used free of charge by guests. I cannot say enough good things about Circus Apartments. We will be back
