Great place and without doubt the best view and location in Pisa. Staff wonderful too!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"worth the splurge"
The Service and location were AMAZING! one of the best stays I've had through hotels.com and totally worth the spluge! I could see the tower right out my window which allowed for great photography during various times of day- hotel provided a welcome drink- free items in the in-room refrigerator- and even went the major extra mile when I had an early […] tour- I was leaving before the café opened so the hotel brought me complimentary pastries AND juice/water the night before to take with me on my excursion....Enough said!!! "Right by the tower"
A one night stay before a longer Tuscan trip. This was a good choice for that. Probably not as useful for a stay of several nights. Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast basic but fine and location great.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location and lovely extra touches"
The staff in the hotel and attached cafe were very friendly. The room was in pristine condition and we were welcomed with savoury and sweet pastries. The hotel is opposite the leaning tower, 5 minutes walk from some lovely restaurants which were off the beaten track and 15 minutes walk from the train station which has a great service to the airport, […] Florence and many other places of interest. "brilliant, we could not ask for more"
The location of the hotel is great-you cannot get any closer to the Leaning Tower of Pisa. The room was very clean, stylish and comfy. We did not pay extra for the rooms with the view over the tower, nevertheless it was pleasant. The real bonus to the hotel is the cafe at the ground floor where we were offered our welcoming drinks and breakfast. Their […] cakes and sandwiches are absolutely amazing! Also there were a few drinks in the minibar-free of charge-a very nice touch, bathrobes and slippers to use and we did get a small bottle of complementary champagne since it was a new years eve. Overall the staff looked very well after us and made our stay in Pisa an extra special stay. I know this hotel is more expensive compared to the others but you are treated like royalty.

"Chic Blend of Old and New!"
08/01/14 mrsez atlantic beach, NY
we were in pisa by default simply because that's where we could get a direct flight from NYC to somewhere close to the cinque terre..so at the end of our beachy vaca we spent 2 nights at this fab b & b and I must say were very happy to be there! first of all the location is beyond amazing - literally across the street from the tower! we were a bit nervous about checking in because when we got to pisa train station it was a bit past 8 pm and the taxi line was super slow - we had notified miracoli that we'd be there a bit after 8 but it ended up being close to 9....but sweet Virginia was there to check us in, and even carry up one of our suitcases - even tho she was very petite. so that's the one thing that may surprise you - the stairs that you will need to go up with suitcases - no elevator! and no actual reception area...but that's part of the charm - you will feel like guests at someone's mini mansion! the hallways and stairs are positively medieval - if you watch game of thrones you will be imagining you are in casterly rock about to meet the lannisters...but the rooms are very recently renovated - ours seemed brand brand new! super clean, and the most delicious room fragrance! the bathroom while small was also luxurious and modern! we were facing the back so it was also very quiet and had good A/C. we peeked into one of the tower facing rooms and it was amazing and probably worth the extra $... Virginia was very helpful with info about where to have dinner, etc. pisa is like a mini Florence - and there was plenty to do within walking distance of the hotel. there's also free Wi-Fi and drinks in the mini fridge. the manager Christina was also super nice and arranged for a taxi for us to get to the airport on departure, and since we were leaving before the bakery at the hotel opened at 8 am, she arranged to have some sweets and coffees ready for us as we left! the bakery breakfast is included in the stay and the first morning we did get to have it and it was delicious! we were very impressed with this b & b and heartily recommend it!

The two staff, Virginia and Christina were excellent. The location could not be better, as you walk outside the front door you are directly in front of the leaning tower. The rooms are superb. I would definitely return again.
"Perfect for family travel (young kids)"
07/06/14 Cathy T Boston, Massachusetts
After a long overnight journey with 3 young kids (11,9,and 6) it was so nice to arrive in this hotel. The first pleasant surprise was the beauty of the building and the beautiful view of the tower when I opened my window followed by the friendly welcome of Cristina, the manager of the hotel. We took 3 rooms, 2 connecting and one across the hall. The whole experience was A++!
"Perfect accommodation in a perfect location."

We only popped into Pisa for the afternoon to experience the Italian food and to see the sights. From the moment that we arrived we were made welcome. The taxi driver from the airport gave some useful advice and took us to the front door of Relais I Miracoli. We were shown our room by the staff who offered to take our cases from us. The room was perfect and staff were very welcoming. The room was very clean and as we would have expected an Italian hotel room to be decorated. A few drinks (all non alcoholic) were in the mini bar for us which were all included in the price, as was the wi-fi. During the afternoon we were able to explore around one of the most famous Italian landmarks, the Leaning Tower, and, due to the close proximity of Relais I Miracoli, we were able to pop back at any time we chose. When we did, we were pleasantly surprised to find a selection of freshly made pastries on the table. These were amazing and came from the shop on the ground floor. The following morning, we had breakfast downstairs which consisted of a choice of fresh pastries, coffee and juice. All of which were exceptionally good. I could not recommend Relais I Miracoli more!!!
"Great location and atmosphere, but late arrival is an issue"
06/14/14 Val G
This is the best location in Pisa, with the Leaning Tower right outside of our windows. The room was modern and very well appointed, as was the bathroom. The only issue (and had we known about it we would've worked around it) is that this is truly a bed-and-breakfast and not a hotel so there is no standard reception. We arrived at 10 PM and the door was locked. There was a phone number I fixed the door and luckily we had a working phone and we called the number. They told us they would we will have to wait 30 minutes for someone to come and open the door. They arrived about 30 minutes later, and were very apologetic. They said that Orbitz should have made it clear that the front desk closes at 7:30pm. (There was nothing like that in Orbitz, otherwise I would have chosen a different place to stay as we knew we were arriving late). We had the exact same problem we were leaving the next day. There was no one around to give us our invoice, so we just left. Putting that aside, if you're not looking for a full-service hotel, this is the place to be in Pisa.
"Rooms without the tower view"
05/10/14 Sverkin Prague, Czech Republic
You probably can't get a better location to stay in Pisa. Just outside the door is the major feature of the city. The rooms facing the inner yard are cheaper and peaceful (except of the staff having a loud conversation every morning at 7 a.m. - just scream "Silenzio, prego!" from your balcony and you may sleep longer as the breakfast is served no sooner then 8:00) Talking about the breakfast - the rooms are situated above the sweet pastry shop and your breakfast is served right there. Anything sweet you can imagine you may probably eat- but for the sausage and egg eaters there is a very limited offer of ham and cheese sandwiches. Nicely decorated, clean, friendly, not cheap - 180 EUR per double room with boring view.
"Really great view!!"
11/19/13 Amy M Paris, France
I think that this is the closest hotel to the tower. The view was amazing!! We stayed in the Cathedral room which has 2 beds in the loft. It was a little noisy but, I mean, it's right next to the tower which is mobbed with tourists. The staff was really nice but their English wasn't very good. Luckily, there was a lady who spoke French. The restaurant/cafe downstairs was really cute and the cappuccinos and breakfast were great. The only issue we had was with the heat. It stayed between 19 and 20 (66 to 68 Fahrenheit) the whole night and we were cold. We complained 3 times but they said it would get warmer, but it never did. I tried to complain a fourth time, but I didn't realize that the desk clerk leaves so early (8pm).
"Pisa Tower just in front of the room windows"
11/03/13 pcortes manosque
The Miracoli is well located, offering probably the closest windows to see the pisa tower and the duomo directly from the room. My children were impressed. Excellent location if you want to see the Pisa Tower almost from your bed, just in front of the Windows. We had booked the Bastitero room. This room is beautiful, well decorated. The room has a mezzanin that my children have liked. The rooms are above a cafe-pastries maker closing at 8 PM, in which you can take the breakfast. Very good cappucino. They even offer a surprise at the end. For the parking, they can allow you to park in the restricted traffic zone if you warn them in advance. The only bad point was the noise (it was saturday night and drunk people were singing near the tower). Probably the other days donùt create the same noise issue.
"A room with a view"
A room with a view if your room is at the front of the hotel . Immediately in front of the leaning tower , it is spectacular . There are stone steps up to the rooms , but we did not find them too difficult to manage . Breakfast was basic . Good coffee , croissants and pastries ,but no toast . They kindly provided gluten free items for me , but they could only be warmed , not cooked . On monday the coffee shop is closed so if it is raining you do have to wait outside the locked door on the street until someone sees you. The rooms are very very clean and the shower roomy enough , with lots of hot water . Free wifi was appreciated . Fluffy warm dressing gowns and slippers are provided . If we returned to pisa we would stay there again . The manageress and her team were very helpful and friendly.

This must be the closest apart/hotel to the leaning tower - perfect location for exploring. Great (very clean) family room with a great view of the Tower. Kids had beds on a 2nd floor gallery landing - one of the best family rooms I have stayed in. This is classed as a B&B - hotel quality rooms with breakfast at the coffee shop/bakery downstairs - which was excellent! In fact, whenever we wanted a coffee or drink we returned to to the coffee shop to sit outside and admire the great views!
