"worth the splurge"
The Service and location were AMAZING! one of the best stays I've had through hotels.com and totally worth the spluge! I could see the tower right out my window which allowed for great photography during various times of day- hotel provided a welcome drink- free items in the in-room refrigerator- and even went the major extra mile when I had an early […] tour- I was leaving before the café opened so the hotel brought me complimentary pastries AND juice/water the night before to take with me on my excursion....Enough said!!! "Perfect central location"
We only popped into Pisa for the afternoon to experience the Italian food and to see the sights. From the moment that we arrived we were made welcome. The taxi driver from the airport gave some useful advice and took us to the front door of Relais I Miracoli. We were shown our room by the staff who offered to take our cases from us. The room was perfect […] and staff were very welcoming. The room was very clean and as we would have expected an Italian hotel room to be decorated. A few drinks (all non alcoholic) were in the mini bar for us which were all included in the price, as was the wi-fi. During the afternoon we were able to explore around one of the most famous Italian landmarks, the Leaning Tower, and, due to the close proximity of Relais I Miracoli, we were able to pop back at any time we chose. When we did, we were pleasantly surprised to find a selection of freshly made pastries on the table. These were amazing and came from the shop on the ground floor. The following morning, we had breakfast downstairs which consisted of a choice of fresh pastries, coffee and juice. All of which were exceptionally good. I could not recommend Relais I Miracoli more!!! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Right by the tower"
A one night stay before a longer Tuscan trip. This was a good choice for that. Probably not as useful for a stay of several nights. Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast basic but fine and location great.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location and lovely extra touches"
The staff in the hotel and attached cafe were very friendly. The room was in pristine condition and we were welcomed with savoury and sweet pastries. The hotel is opposite the leaning tower, 5 minutes walk from some lovely restaurants which were off the beaten track and 15 minutes walk from the train station which has a great service to the airport, […] Florence and many other places of interest. "brilliant, we could not ask for more"
The location of the hotel is great-you cannot get any closer to the Leaning Tower of Pisa. The room was very clean, stylish and comfy. We did not pay extra for the rooms with the view over the tower, nevertheless it was pleasant. The real bonus to the hotel is the cafe at the ground floor where we were offered our welcoming drinks and breakfast. Their […] cakes and sandwiches are absolutely amazing! Also there were a few drinks in the minibar-free of charge-a very nice touch, bathrobes and slippers to use and we did get a small bottle of complementary champagne since it was a new years eve. Overall the staff looked very well after us and made our stay in Pisa an extra special stay. I know this hotel is more expensive compared to the others but you are treated like royalty.

We booked 8 months-ago I particularly wanted to stay here we travelled by train from florence which took one hour 10,euros each the taxi service from the station was extremely slow not much fun in boiling heat.on arrival I was-a little worried as it looked like a door in a wall but once inside it had such charm the staff were helpful I did find that the staff in the cafe put the customers first before us staying there. But on arrival we were told go to the cafe if you need anything but on the last day we found the lounge upstairs had a member of staff so maybe we should have gone there in the first place. We had a car on the last day not easy to park but they gave us a permit 10 euros per day. The cafe for breakfast was quaint but again the first day we had a choice of pastrys the next day we got given plain ones I think you just need to ask we were told you could gave juice and a sandwich too. So we used to get the sandwich for lunch We stayed in the Santa Marie room amazing callings room huge my daughter had a room adjoining the sofa bed when out full was- pain you couldn't get to the bathroom which was like a cuboard to small Loads wardrobe space and draw space and a safe we looked out the window and you could see the leaning tower not sure at £230 a night I'd stay again but it was a lively unique place. The wifi was awful we tried 4 places to eat not over fussed by any of them The trip up pisa was great well with it I didn't find the area noisey at all considering above a cafe.
"You won't get a better view.......Fantastic Place!"

Wow! We had a one night stop-over in Pisa on our road trip of Northern Italy and based our search on a hotel close to the Leaning Tower. This surpassed all our expectations for service, value and location. We didn't even ask for a Tower view but got the most stunning of views out of our 2 room accomodation. Travelling with our 10 yr old daughter, they had made up a bed in the 'lounge' part of the suite which was ample. From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent, we were greeted by a lovely lady who speedily checked us in and arranged for our luggage to be taken to our room. The room was better than expected, very comfy with tea/coffee making facilities. We were given instant access to wifi and offered a welcome drink (of our choice) in the bar which is located on the ground floor, on the street and open to the general public. As residents we were given priority seating literally a stones throw from the Tower. As the location was perfect, we ordered 2 extra drinks each and when we ordered the bill for these, in typical Italian were told 'no problem, its on the house' You take your breakfast here too and you have an unlimited selection of pastries, yoghurts, juice and coffee and again in priority seating (but you can sit inside too!) So, if you're in Pisa for the sights, don't look anywhere else - this place is just perfect! (we were also not charged for anything taken from the mini-bar)
"Simply the Best!"

We stayed here for 5 nights in August. It is a very different hotel, more of a homely feel than we were used to. We arrived very early for check in but were given complimentary coffees while the room was prepared. The staff were very friendly and we cannot thank Brustina enough for her help and kindness. We were in Pisa to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary and we came back one night to find complimentary champagne and snacks from the hotel. A lovely gesture. The breakfast was great and although a bit quirky having to come out of the hotel and into the café for breakfast this added to the whole ambience of the experience. It was great being so close to the tower, and being able to see it at night was a real joy. Lots of places to eat within easy walking distance. (Ladies wear flats as those pavements can be lethal in heels, especially after a glass of wine). Santa Maria Restaurant, about 20 yards from the hotel ( turn right out of the hotel, restaurant on the left) waiters are really friendly and the food was excellent. The bearded one loves you to drink limoncello which we didn't find a hardship! Would definitely recommend......

Room was small but perfectly formed. Modern, clean and comfortable. Slightly odd set up with the staff of the cafe acting as receptionists in the corridor of the hotel, but very friendly and helpful (Especially Virginia). Not sure I would want to stay for an extended time, but for 1 night to see Pisa, the perfect place, and who would no want to have breakfast whilst gazing at the tower?!
"Location couldn't have been better"

We stayed as a family in August 2014. The location couldn't have been better. We had a room on the top floor (Battistero) and the view was amazing. It was a bit noisy at times but we were right in front of the tower so that was expected. Our room basically had two floors, a double bed downstairs and two single beds upstairs. The staff were really friendly and helpful as they carried some of our luggage up to our room (be warned, no lift/elevator) for us. The next day we asked the staff what the the cheapest way was to get to Florence and they said by train. About an our later we were going out and one of the staff members printed us out a train timetable which was extremely helpful. Definitely would stay here again and would definitely recommend.
"Chic Blend of Old and New!"
08/01/14 mrsez atlantic beach, NY
we were in pisa by default simply because that's where we could get a direct flight from NYC to somewhere close to the cinque terre..so at the end of our beachy vaca we spent 2 nights at this fab b & b and I must say were very happy to be there! first of all the location is beyond amazing - literally across the street from the tower! we were a bit nervous about checking in because when we got to pisa train station it was a bit past 8 pm and the taxi line was super slow - we had notified miracoli that we'd be there a bit after 8 but it ended up being close to 9....but sweet Virginia was there to check us in, and even carry up one of our suitcases - even tho she was very petite. so that's the one thing that may surprise you - the stairs that you will need to go up with suitcases - no elevator! and no actual reception area...but that's part of the charm - you will feel like guests at someone's mini mansion! the hallways and stairs are positively medieval - if you watch game of thrones you will be imagining you are in casterly rock about to meet the lannisters...but the rooms are very recently renovated - ours seemed brand brand new! super clean, and the most delicious room fragrance! the bathroom while small was also luxurious and modern! we were facing the back so it was also very quiet and had good A/C. we peeked into one of the tower facing rooms and it was amazing and probably worth the extra $... Virginia was very helpful with info about where to have dinner, etc. pisa is like a mini Florence - and there was plenty to do within walking distance of the hotel. there's also free Wi-Fi and drinks in the mini fridge. the manager Christina was also super nice and arranged for a taxi for us to get to the airport on departure, and since we were leaving before the bakery at the hotel opened at 8 am, she arranged to have some sweets and coffees ready for us as we left! the bakery breakfast is included in the stay and the first morning we did get to have it and it was delicious! we were very impressed with this b & b and heartily recommend it!

The two staff, Virginia and Christina were excellent. The location could not be better, as you walk outside the front door you are directly in front of the leaning tower. The rooms are superb. I would definitely return again.
"Perfect for family travel (young kids)"

After a long overnight journey with 3 young kids (11,9,and 6) it was so nice to arrive in this hotel. The first pleasant surprise was the beauty of the building and the beautiful view of the tower when I opened my window followed by the friendly welcome of Cristina, the manager of the hotel. We took 3 rooms, 2 connecting and one across the hall. The whole experience was A++!

"Great location and atmosphere, but late arrival is an issue"
06/14/14 Val G
This is the best location in Pisa, with the Leaning Tower right outside of our windows. The room was modern and very well appointed, as was the bathroom. The only issue (and had we known about it we would've worked around it) is that this is truly a bed-and-breakfast and not a hotel so there is no standard reception. We arrived at 10 PM and the door was locked. There was a phone number I fixed the door and luckily we had a working phone and we called the number. They told us they would we will have to wait 30 minutes for someone to come and open the door. They arrived about 30 minutes later, and were very apologetic. They said that Orbitz should have made it clear that the front desk closes at 7:30pm. (There was nothing like that in Orbitz, otherwise I would have chosen a different place to stay as we knew we were arriving late). We had the exact same problem we were leaving the next day. There was no one around to give us our invoice, so we just left. Putting that aside, if you're not looking for a full-service hotel, this is the place to be in Pisa.
