"Nice rooms but 'spotty' service"
Nice, clean, comfortable apartment-style rooms in the walkable neighborhood surrounding the WTC in Mexico City. Service was 'spotty' at best, my room didn't get cleaned one day and the front desk staff appeared new or untrained. They even had trouble with normal things like check out and the credit card machine.

"hotel yes, expedia no. change booking 3x bad price"
we rented the hotel to be close to a trade show where we had a booth at the World Trade Center. we got up early and returned late. The room was always nicely cleaned when we returned at night. The kitchen accomodations were fine and supplied with silverware, plates, cups, and cooking utensils.Genuine Expedia guest review

"No me pude bañar"
Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Suites stay in Pennsylvania"

The Suites are very nice. Vertical lawn side rooms are very attractive.. Service is good, you will get a free breakfast. Downside is sometimes Wifi dont work. you dont have much options in the breakfast.
"Big very comfortable rooms"

Rooms are apartments. Very big, very well utilized. You dont hear your neighbours, you can cook if you want, comfortable living room. The internet is not always stable and planes are flying over the hotel, so that took me 1 day before i got adjusted to that.
"Excellent place to stay"

I stayed at Pennsylvania Suites for 3 weeks in September. The room was big and with a separate kitchen, so I could buy food from a supermarket nearby and cook by myself. The staff was friendly and helpful, although not all of them can speak English. I could take 10 minutes walk to go to the nearest Metro Bus station for the public transport, or ask the staff to help call a taxi. I would come back here again.
The moment we arrived at Pennsylvania Suites we were greeted with a warm and friendly hello from Carlos and this exchange really set the level of service throughout our stay. The room was large with a fantastic layout. While we didn't utilise the kitchen amenities, we did use the fridge to keep our beer cold! There was a beautiful large balcony that overlooked a large wall of greenery, which we felt was a great getaway from the hustle of the streets. Sitting on our balcony we could hardly hear the noise of the busy street so close by. The hotel was very accessible with a short walk to the metro station (10 minutes) or an ever shorter walk to the bus station (4 minutes). We found that public transport was the best way to get around the city, while it was crowded at times, it definitely moved faster than a taxi! We found the hotel staff, especially Carlos, to be very generous and going out of there way to assist us. This included Carlos ordering and picking up food for us a midnight because we were hungry! I would highly recommend staying at Pennsylvania Suites!
"Confortable 2 bedroom apartment."

The hotel itself is small but very comfortable. Ruben was great and it was late when we got there and he was so busy tending other guests he made up by bringing us coffee, milk, fruit and yogurt. We got there at 10 pm and were starving. We also had a meeting early next morning. He suggested to order from Tranquiloco restaurant across the street and they even delivered the food warm to the room. Lots of places to eat around the hotel and nice park to run or walk. The breakfast area and food was great before going out. The gym was small but did the job for me. The only problem I had was there is no air conditioning and when we open the doors of the balcony we could smell cigarettes from other suites and hear the planes all night. The price however was half of what we pay in Polanco for 2 separate rooms. Also there is no next day service for laundry. It took longer than we are used to (again, we pay less so I am not really surprise). Overall we will stay there again. The security guards were super nice.
"good business hotel in Mexico City"

I stayed at Pennsylvania Suites for seven nights in early November. The suite was spacious and clean with a separate kitchen, dining area and kitchen. The staff was friendly and helpful. There are separate hot water heaters in each room - you need to turn the temperature value to hot, otherwise you're likely to run cold during a long shower. The breakfast was efficient but it would have been nice to have more variety of bread, cheese and meats.
"Upscale rent apartment building ..."

I've been staying at Pennsylvania Suites for the past year in different periods. Rooms are good, fully equipped and brand new furniture, lack of TV channel options though, and not very good noise-wise: almost all rooms have balconies, so if your next door neighbor guest is having a get-together in the balcony, you will hear it loud and clear .. Staff is friendly and attentive - when they are actually at the reception counter - During periods of the day, security staff attend to telephone calls and requests and do their best to help you but since it is not their job, they can do little comparing to the actual hotel staff. If you arrive on Sunday afternoon or night, you are on your own (almost). Same if you want to checkout early (before 7.00am). If there's not a 24x7 fully working reception, can you call it a hotel? .. On one of these trips during September water went out for the whole morning - so .. off to work without a bath! - .. Can't imagine how this can happen in an hotel .. This is a good place if you think of it as an upscale rent apartment building that happens to rent you a room on daily basis, than an hotel, ..

"Modern, clean suite with friendly service"
11/04/13 Marie H Calgary, Canada
We recently stayed at the Pennsylvania suites for 6 nights. There was plenty of room for 3 adults in our 2 bedroom suite. The rooms were new and very clean. The master bedroom had a large ensuite with a safe to lock up valuables. The second bedroom had 2 double beds with a large closet for 2 adults. The full sized kitchen was fully equipped and had some pans, dishes and utensils which we used to cook some meals. There was also a complimentary continental breakfast every morning. (The pastries were very good, but only managed to snag some for one morning) Staff was very friendly and helpful. We especially enjoyed Carlos's and Anna's friendly greetings at the front desk. We had trouble connecting to the hotel wifi on the first day, but the hotel quickly remedied this problem for us. When we bumped into the manager one day, he made us feel very welcome and told us to let him know if there were any problems. The hotel is within walking distance of Insurgentes Ave, which is a large and busy street. There is also a grocery store within 5 minutes walk of the hotel. This hotel is 10 minutes walk away from the world trade center and 5 minutes walk to the buses on Insurgentes.
"A great place to stay "

We spent a few nights at the pennsylvania suites and coming from the airport to the hotel to be honest we found very daunting, being British we are definately reserved. We were welcomed by Carlos and shown to our suite, which in a word was fantastic. It was of an incredibly high standard and Carlos by night and Anna by day were fantastic, our only thought now was what to do for 3 days. We decided to be gung-Ho and entered the city full throttle, and what a great experience it was, the people are great, the traffic manic, the food was brilliant, although to be fair we dined mainly in the Mexican street cafés which are great, although we know no Spanish we were always brilliantly suprised at what turned up. By our 3rd day we were even crossing the roads as locals. The taxis we had booked from the reception were great, and so cheap, we even ventured onto the metro, only 3 peso's. Our whole experience was a great one, and was truly enhanced by the pennsylvania suites. Thank you. We were then off to Oaxaca
