"3-star hotel? Where are the stars?"
09/02/14 Laurent J Novato, California
Low-end 2-star hotel at max. Old, no food, bed so soft that you can't stand back up in the morning... Avoid! - There is a lack of hotel rooms in Rueil and the Qualys is taking advantage of it. Try other options first...
"Clean and nice location"

We stayed for three days in this hotel. The room was very clean, and breakfast was very good. Rueil-Malmaison is a very nice town, you can also visit the palace where Napoleon lift. To the metro / RER station is 15 minuts walk.

We stayed at this hotel for four days. There is a lift to the higher floors and we stayed on floor 3 but heard no noise from above, below or adjacent rooms. The rooms are spacious with plenty of wardrobe and storage space, very comfortable beds. There is a separate toilet as well as a large bathroom. Shower over the bath and plenty of fluffy white towels. Everything was spotlessly clean. There are no tea/coffee making facilities in the room but we had taken our own travel kettle, etc. Continental breakfast consisted of a selection of cereals, bread, croissants, orange juice, tea and coffee, jams, etc, etc, all very fresh. There is a nice bar on the ground floor of the hotel with television. Bar prices are quite high but this is a hotel and it is Paris! My daughter needed to store her insulin in a fridge during our stay and the staff very kindly agreed to arrange this for her allowing access to it at any time of the day or night. All the staff are very friendly, kind and helpful. It is 10 minutes walk to the RER station that connects with the Metro, easy to find at the end of the road where the hotel is situated and we were in the centre of Paris within 30 minutes of leaving the hotel. In the other direction from the hotel is the delightful town centre of Rueil Malmaison with plenty of nice shops and restaurants. We would happily go back to stay at this hotel and in Rueil Malmaison again.
"Pleasant and Quite"

I stayed there for business. Although services are limited (no room service, ironing or laundry) it is good enough to get you by for couple days. Rooms are comfortable, no lunch or dinner, internet is available but mostly from the lobby area.

Spent 3 nights on prix de l'arc de triomphe weekend. The hotel was better than we were expecting (it was only advertised as 2 star when we booked). The room was quiet and spotlessly clean. The staff we found very friendly and helpful. The comments about the bar prices are true but, hello, this is Paris. The comments about breakfast are subjective. Its called a continental breakfast you know (and that's because you're on the continent!). You are unlikely to be given a full English.
"All right for a short break"

Stayed here for the pre de larc de trionphe for 3nights b&b rooms small but beds comfey breakfast was to say was awful 1quasont 1half French stick corn flakes /ham /cheese spread/ and jam awful coffee and extortionate bar prices but we were only here for a weekend break so it served it's purpose
"STUNNING rooms !"

I stayed 1 week in september 2012 with my family in this hotel (now called QUALYS) and enjoyed 2 newly refurbished rooms with VERY NICE furnitures (comfortable bed, flat TV, nice lights...). The rooms are spacious and so are the bathrooms. The hotel was under renovation and I am looking forward to see the final result, it will certainly look more like a 4* than a 3*. Breakfast was ok but don't expect a huge buffet. Nearby the hotel there is a very nice park (but the hotel also enjoys a nice garden), RER (direct to Paris) is at 7 minutes by walk and more interesting you are 2 minutes away from some Autolib' (cars that you can rent for few euros per hour).
"Expected the worst but got very decent!"
08/13/12 RenateVink Cape Town Central, South Africa
Booked this hotel via an online "auction", 2 nights for 90 euros. Having had some bad experiences with hotels that sell room thru auctions I expected the worst but was very pleasantly surprised. I would pay the RACK or walk-in rate though (€250 a night). The room, toilet and bathroom we had (4th floor) was recently refurbished and looked VERY nice. Bed was WONDERFUL! 5 euros per person for breakfast was VERY decent (don't expect warm foods though, just juice, coffee, tea, croissants, french bread, ham, cream cheese, nutella and jam). Elevator is frightening small and noisy if you have a room close to them.
"Clean comfy hotel in a great little town"

I'd say good - not average - but not quite very good. I stayed in a double room. Small is to be expected. the bathroom was pretty big and the commode was in a separate closet across from the shower / sink. Good breakfast (great coffee!) and a nice lobby, helpful front desk.Yes, there is a hair dryer in the room. The hotel claims to have A/C but many of the rooms do not. Mine did not but left the windows open. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the metro train which will get you anywhere. Across the street from Friendship Park, lovely! A couple of blocks away are tons of cute little shops, bakeries, bistros, etc. and some beautiful historic buildings - wish I had more time to explore. It seemed like a very safe upscale suburb.
"Nice and good stay"

We really liked the hotel! Big city hotels are always a challenge (to our experience) in this price category. So you have to compare it with London, Brussels or Amsterdam. We had a beautiful quiet room with a view to the nice garden, at the back of the hotel. The rooms are nicely decorated with here and there some little marks of use ( the French touch). We did not mind that at all, it has a charm. Especially the area of the hotel is nice with the beautiful houses. Also the breakfast was fine. We arrived a bit late after 9.15 am and the lady just filled up what run out. So no complains at all about the breakfast. The hotel has a good opportunity for leaving your car in the parking for € 7,- a day. That is more than reasonable. So we were really positively surprised! Because we read the reviews on this page and had already booked, we expected the worst.
