"Wonderful stay at la Farina"
The Hotel, cleanliness and friendly staff was above all expectations. We received a wonderful recommendation from the Hotel Manager for a wonderful dinner in Florence. The walk downtown was 15 min, but took us by a bar so we could have the morning coffee on the way. All in all a wonderful stay. Be aware that a ambulance dispatch is across the street […] so it can get noisy at night. As anywhere in Italy it seems garbage pick up and glass container emptying happens preferrably when you try to sleep but no worse than anywhere else in Italy. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Apartments with secure car parking"
Good clean modern apartments in good location approx 20 minutes walk to center. Minor disappointment that there were no English stations on the TV. Staff speak good English and were very friendly and helpful. It proved to be a great base from which to explore Florence city sights.

Sem dúvida voltarei a me hospedar.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
MI ESTANCIA FUE PERFECTA. EMPEZANDO DESDE EL DIA DE LLEGADA ATENCION DEL PERSONAL MUY BUENA HABLABA ESPAÑOL Y TE INDICABA COMO LLEGAR DEL HOTEL AL CENTRO HISTORICO DE FLORENCIA SITIOS PARA VER Y DONDE TENIAS SUPERMERCADO Y RESTAURANTE CERCA DE LOS APARTAMENTOS PARA REALIZAR COMPRAS COMO EL DESAYUNO Y PARA CENAR Y COMER.LOS APARTAMENTOS PERFECTOS MUY […] LIMPIOS CON EL AGUA EN LA NEVERA ROPA DE CAMA Y ASEO NUEVA Y LIMPIA LO QUE SI LES DIRIA QUE PUSIERAN MAS GELES DE BAÑO POR EJEMPLO PORQUE NOSOTROS ERAMOS CUATRO PERSONAS Y PARA DUCHARNOS ERAN UN POCO ESCASOS DOS BOTES PERO ESO ES UNA SUGERENCIA. EL APARTAMENTO MUY TRANQUILO SE PODIA DORMIR SIN NINGUN PROBLEMA NO HABIA RUIDOS QUE SE AGRACEDE DESPUES DE CAMINAR TODO EL DIA POR FLORENCIA, EL AIRE ACONDICIONADO MUY BIEN PORQUE HACIA CALOR 29 ºc POR LA NOCHE Y SE AGRADECE .
"Practical apartment within walking distance of the centre of Florence"

We stayed at La Farina for two nights as part of a drive through Italy. I picked it mainly because we wanted self catering and free parking to bring the costs down. I also didn't want to get involved in the city's large ZTL, La Farina lies just outside. We were met by the very friendly lady on reception who showed us into the safe underground car park, she reassured us that there would always be a space for us during our stay, even if we wanted to take the car out - there was. There was a lift to take us up to our apartment, very helpful given we had quite a bit of luggage. The apartment was extremely modern, well laid out, the small kitchenette had a powerful induction hob, there was a fridge/freezer, sink and dishwasher. There were also more than enough pans/plates/cutlery etc. The whole apartment was immaculately clean, including the large bathroom. There was plenty of storage space and even room for a sofa in front of the TV. It was a comfortable 20min walk from the apartment to the Uffizi, maybe 15 to the duomo. Even though it was a hot 30c there was shade virtually the entire walk into town. We got a bit too hot one afternoon and had bags to carry so we got a taxi back one, it was only €5. I can't recommend this place highly enough if you want the safe parking and a kitchenette as well as being conveniently located and easy to drive to.

We've been here for 1 night visiting Florence with a couple of friends who have been stayed at the same place for several days. The place is just perfect. Pretty good location, not far from historical center (30 min walk to Ponte Vecchio, bus facilities near the hotel), parking is included, which is an absolute necessity in such a town. We booked a room for 2 + 1 child and finally upgraded to a 2 bedrooms apartment in the 4th (and last) floor. The manager arranged us to book the apartment next door to our friends. Our apartment was very comfortable, brand new and completely equipped (freezer, fridge, dishwasher microwave etc.). Clear and clean !
"A great place to relax after a busy day site seeing. First class,"

This place was absolutely fantastic. The apartment was modern and immaculate. The layout of the 'delux' really impressed our children as they had space upstairs; with a bedroom, sofa/ living area and a small dressing area/ closet. Although there was no traditional living area on the lower floor, we had ample space and a dining table that we sat round together anyway. The place was spotless and claiming, with loads of space to store personal items and a large and high quality bathroom. Further, the laundry facility was very efficient and staff could not do enough to help us- whether it be advice about the surrounding area, or checking we could work the laundry ok. Although some reviews say this place is a little far form the main attractions- it is really just a 20 minute walk through some quaint streets. It is also close to a stop on the route 1 red bus site seeing tour- cutting down your walk time to about 7 mins. Further, it is close to supermarkets and can save you the expense of eating out every mealtime. There is also a lovely restaurant attached to the apartments, very modern and reasonably priced- ideal for a meal and/ or drink after a day's site seeing. I would have no problem recommending this place to friends and family- a great find through Trip Advisor!
"Clean, fabulous apartment"

We stayed at La Farina Suites for a week in July 2014. The apartment is about 10 minutes from Firenze Campo Di Marte train station and 20 minutes from old town. The ponte Vecchio is a bit further and took us 40 minutes by walk. There is a supermarket close by. Self-service laundry is in the basement of the building. We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment which is modern and clean with a fully equipped kitchen. As it is an apartment, they only make up beds once a week and we have to ask them to refill amenities. Also, we have to throw the rubbish ourselves on the day of check-out. But all these are just minor issues. Overall, we love our stay at La Farina Suites and would recommend it to other travellers.
Stayed here for a week for a wedding right outside Florence. This place was better than could have been expected, truly. We were right outside the hustle & bustle of the city, while other members of the wedding party complained of the constant noise at night, we were able to have quiet nights when needed. The receptionists were extremely helpful with great recommendations for food, activities, and day trips; and the restaurant next door had delicious food and great coffee in the mornings. If you walk one more block away from the city and hang a right on the intersecting street, there is a grocery store on the left about a block down and a little avenue of shops with anything you could need only four short blocks away. The furniture was clearly new and extremely nice and the balcony, though not sporting a great view in particular, was great for having evening drinks on with friends in the cool summer dusk. The shower was admittedly pretty small but it had warm water and got the job done. Regarding access to the city, it's a ten minute walk to the Duomo and just about anything else you could want to see and if anything is farther, there is a taxi stand at the end of the block that had taxis at every hour we needed one, which was pretty late a few nights. I honestly don't think I could recommend La Farina Apartments any higher, it made our trip that much better which was hard to do because we had an amazing trip!
"Great place, clean & friendly!"
Only stayed one night, wish it was longer! Really nice apartment style room, newly updated with a wonderful restaurant on site! We really enjoyed our stay! Only a few blocks from the Duomo. Easy walk!

La Farina is a convenient, safe, well equipped apartment block with modern clean flats. Ideal for families and long stays. Helpful staff and couple of nice restaurants in the vicinity. It is slightly outside the triangle but very good value for money.
"Nice apartment, reasonable price"
The apartments were spacious and clean. There was cooking facilities (which we didn't use) and a nice big fridge. There was a garage for the car at no charge, which was great! There was also a huge commercial washer and dryer in the basement which is open all day and which may be used for a fee (takes coins only). All in all, an entirely satisfactory experience. Travellers should note, however, that it is out of the main tourist area (approximately 25-30 min walk to town) and it is opposite a fire station (although you can ask for a room not facing the street if you wish). We did not have much problems with sirens though, since we only heard them in the morning when we had to wake up anyway.

The apartment was a good size with good space allocation. There was a winding staircase in the middle which would not be suitable for small children but were fine for us as the kids were teen and preteen. Kitchen was quite well equipped and had a dishwasher.Ricardo was amazing! Always with a smile, friendly and eager to help with suggestions and dining recommendations. There is a small supermarket and an organic supermarket nearby and bus stops round the corner. There is a washer and a separate dryer in the basement but I cannot remember the charges as I didn't use them. There is a bistro next door where we had dinner one night and the food was good. The lemon cheesecake was delicious!! The only reason why this has four stars instead of five is the distance. Though not far, it is not exactly central to the activities we wanted to do. It is about a 20 minute bus ride to the train station and from there another 10 minute walk to the duomo. The bus stations to the outlets were also near the train station. The buses during our 4 night stay there were not really punctual and we were not able to call a cab on our last day as it coincided with fashion week in Florence, so it was a mad dash to the bus stop as the bus had decided to be early for once! With luggage and kids it was not much fun. Proper time planning and time management would help.
"A different apartment would have made all the difference"

I was impressed with La Farina Apartments and should I return to Florence, I will certainly consider staying here again. We wantied to be able to cook for ourselves, do our washing and park the car free of charge – but we also wanted to be close enough to walk to where all the tourist sites are. La Farina provided us with a great solution. La Farina is about a 15 minute walk from all of the main tourist sites in the center. When we arrived we parked in the wide underground car park and we given a map and detailed instructions as to where the tourist sites were, supermarkets etc. There were staff in reception up until about 7:00pm and I found they were always willing to answer questions and help out with some local knowledge The apartment presented beautifully. It seems these rooms are only 12 months old. Although the furniture is Ikea quality, it is new and spotless. I can not speak high enough of how well the apartment was cleaned and presented for our arrival. I would have liked to have had an iron in the room and a sharp cooking knife, but aside from those small matters, all of the equipment in the room was flawless. There was plenty of storage and hanging space for clothes and an elevator to save you carrying bags up and down stairs. We always felt the complex was secure – in fact the door to the apartment room was more secure than my bank’s vault. The clothes washing (E 7.50) and drying (E5.50) seemed expensive, but they are large commercial machines which means you can get more washing done and quicker. We stayed in apartment 1C, the windows of which faced out on to the street. It was a nice enough view with plenty of sunlight filling the space, but nothing really noteworthy to look at. There is a fire station across the road from La Farina and we’d expected to hear sirens being in a city environment. Being warm we opened the windows when we could to let in the fresh air - unfortunately apartment 1C is on the first floor, directly above the entrance to a restaurant/bar, the patrons of which stand directly under your window smoking cigarettes and cigars. The bar created some noise but seemed to quiet down early, I remember the smoke more than the noise. My main grudge was the WiFi networks. I am an intensive internet user and really notice when I am offline as I can not communicate back home or access our itineraries etc. When able to connect, the connection was poor with slow speeds. I went to the foyer to report the matter and immediately got connected. La Farina has 8 Wifi networks - it seems they have used domestic equipment in a commercial environment. Like I said at the beginning, I would seriously consider La Farina again but not Apartment 1C because of the smoke and the WiFi connection. My suggestion is ask for a room which windows are away from the street, you are not missing much of a view - but you lose the noise and smoke. La Farina will have to ensure me they have their internet sorted before I stay there again.
