The hotel was extremely modern and updated. I did have a issue with some of the front desk service and was billed twice for a booking I booked on hotel.com.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Comfortable and quiet"
Love this hotel. Rooms are clean, breakfast is beyond words wonderful -not your standard warmed up continental breakfast. Staff is very accommodating. Careful, room keys automatically deactivate, if you have a late checkout you could get caught.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"beautifully renovated hotels"
we had stayed at the hotel prior to the new owner renovating. The rooms are beautifully appointed and decorated and the common areas are gorgeous. We enjoyed appetizers and drinks at the bar area which were delicious. We will definitely be back in summer when the pool an outdoor areas are openGenuine Expedia guest review

"A&B Process visit"
This Hotel was remodeled short while ago. It is a fantastic place to stay and the rate was also outstanding. We truly enjoyed it for the one night we stayed there. Breakfast was also very good and convenient. Would stay there again anytime.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Hotel is very deceiving from the outside, but when you walk inside it is very warm and welcoming. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Restaurant was good. If ordering appetizers, order the smaller portions. You do get a lot of food with the smaller portion.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"A 2 ONLY Because All Is New"

Otherwise I would probably rate it a ONE, or a zero if I had that option... The staff was less than professional: 1) 2nd in line for check-in. Clerk was nearly done with him, but took a call & left 1st in line standing there, waiting. Should have put call on 'hold'. 2) Came back to room after our first night to find one bed was totally made back up. However, the other bed did have the sheet tucked in around the edge, but my bathrobe & the comforter were both still lying in a heep on the end of the bed. 3) 2nd morning while in the shower heard horrendous noise going on outside in the hall. Thought it was a neighbor slamming in and out. Turns out housekeeping had been told THREE times that our room was vacant. They couldn't get in because we had the bar across the door. So they called management, who came with a screwdriver and, apparently, after a great deal of struggle they managed to break in, only to find us still there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 4) Had placed some leftovers in the mini-fridge. Got them out and who knows how accidents happen, but apparently I pressed down on the door while closing it. Bottles of beer came crashing out, cans of pop landed and rolled across the floor. WHAT A MESS. Clearly the mini-fridge was not tethered down and the empty space above it was too large to stop the fridge from coming over. Think if a small child was trying to pull themselves up using this? A lawsuit just waiting to happen, that's for sure.
"Frequent Guests are just Guests"

I've been staying here an average of two nights a week since it's opening. It is a great place and I enjoyed the restaurant. When I checked in 06/09 I was expecting the usual friendly from desk clerk, and was I disappointed. I believe North Korean hotels are far superior to the treatment I received that afternoon. I just checked in 6/16 and got stuck in a back corner room, again, overlooking the parking lot. There sure is a nice courtyard but I rarely see it from the rooms they put me in. So, I called room service and got voice mail for the first time. An hour later and no call back. Headed off to the Holiday Inn for a late dinner. From now on I will take the Holiday Inn Gold Elite points while I visit clients in Marshfield. This is a better hotel but people and attitude make the difference.

This hotel is amazing! Affordable! Great food! Amazing & friendly staff! Clean! The pool, hot tub, sauna are beautiful! Super comfy cabana and so sad I fell asleep early & missed out on some bonfire time! Highly recommend a stay here! We will be back!

Stayed at this hotel for a friend's wedding. Hotel has been remodeled and was very nice and modern. Everyone I encountered at the hotel from the front desk staff to the housekeeping team were very friendly and accomodating. I would definately stay here again.
"A hidden treasure in Marshfield"

The hotel is a real treasure in Marshfield. The quality of the facilities were great and the staff was friendly and efficient. We found our entire experience to be excellent. The hotel is locally owned by people who obviously take pride in providing a superior experience for their guests.

The hotel was very nicely furnished and was very clean smelling and looking. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were very roomy. The hotel staff was very friendly. Everything was high class furnishings.

Outstanding hotel. Great staff and terrific accommodations. The beds are extremely comfortable. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. You definitely need to check out the Blue Heron if you like beer and good food.

Once we got into our room we had to make a temperature change, and we figured it out. WIFI reception was great. Food and drinks were great, and the deal that we go was unbeatable. The pools were clean and in great shape.

We were planning on being in the Marshfield area , read the many positive reviews and decided to book a room. Truly could not be happier with our decision and most certainly will stay here on future visits to the area.
"Don't go here on a Holiday!"

The Sunday before Memorial Day we checked into the Hotel Marshfield. We had purchased a package that included drink and food credit, room and breakfast buffet the next morning. When we checked in we were told that the restaurant was not going to be open because of the holiday. Nobody called us to give us a heads up. We were assured that the buffet was going to be served in the morning. They did offer to give us the money in cash that was the value of the credit. We took the cash and went looking for someplace to eat. The only thing open close was fast food. We were celebrating our 28th Wedding Anniversary and did not want fast food!!! If we had been told ahead of time we could have found somplace on the way in. We were told that we could order food in but there was no phone book in the room. That night while laying in bed our toilet starting flushing by itself. My husband called the front desk and the maintenance man just happened to be in the building so he came down. He said they add too much salt to the water softner and it was destroying the workings of the toilet. The next morning we went down to breakfast and the attendant told us they were only serving breakfast bake and oatmeal on the buffet because of the holiday. Seriously if we would have know that holidays were a reason to shut the place then we would have never booked it then.
