Very nice B&B in beautiful area of NH would stay there again!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great B&B close to the lake."
Breakfast was good and everyone staying there seemed to really enjoy themselves. I was very envious of the rooms we saw in the second floor that had wifi, lake views, and comfortable blankets. Our bed was as hard as a rock, the blankets consisted of two firm coverlets, the pillows were hard and on the third floor we didn't have wifi in our rooms. I […] think had we had a more comfortable bed, my review would look like everyone else's. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

We stayed here for just one night while skiing at Ragged Mountain. What a find. Adorable old Inn, bery clean and comfy. Very nice breakfast in the pleasant dining room in the morning and they were even able to accomodate my gluten free dietary needs simply by selecting this prefernce on their web site when making the reservation. Would love to teturn and stay here in the summer as it is on a lake and would be very nice.
"A nice week end getaway"

Spent the w/e of Feb 15-16/2014 at the inn.Stayed on 2nd floor ,room named 'Nancy' a small room that fit us fine as the common areas at the Inn are large and good for reading by the fire. Breakfast was fabulous...home made and very tasty with variations. Employees at the Inn are very helpful with directions to good dinner restaurants.
"Lovely, charming, an excellent getaway."

We stayed two nights as par of a ski trip at Mt. Sunapee. Our host was gracious and welcoming; his dog, Angel, was adorable; and the inn itself is beautiful. Breakfasts were delicious, which is impressive since the host is not a cook by training. The rooms were charming and attractively decorated. We probably should have spent more time examining the fascinating furnishings in the spacious public areas, but that's ok. We will be back.
"Perfect New England Inn"

My family spent one night here last weekend. We were all enchanted by this rambling old inn beautifully situated by Kezar Lake (and connects to the local snowmobile trails). The inn is warm and inviting as is the inn keeper, Denis. The rooms are beautifully appointed, each one having its own personality. We stayed in the Riley Rose room which is a suite. It was perfect for our 17 year old daughter as it gave her some privacy. The breakfast, which was prepared and served by the inn keeper Denis. was incredible. Most notable was the ricotta lemon pancakes, cheese grits and fresh squeezed orange juice. We were very pleased with our experience here and will definitely return.

I was lucky enough to have stayed at the Follansbee Inn with a group of friends for a great weekend of skiing. The inn has a very charming and warm historic feel. Our rooms were very clean and the innkeepers couldn't have been more hospitable. If you stay there I would highly recommend taking advantage of the delicious home made breakfast that the owners prepare.
"Quaint New England winter get-away"

So glad we found this quaint, historic, and beautifully decorated B&B! I would stay here just to enjoy the fantastically and meticulously prepared gourmet breakfasts. We came up to take advantage of skiing out at Mount Sunappe - a scenic 25 minute drive away. Coming back here after a day of skiing/snowboarding was perfect: the common rooms are lovely (one has a bar which was perfect for apres ski), there are plenty of games, the fireplaces are warm, the rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. I hope to come back for each season to enjoy all this area has to offer. And, I look forward to coming back to the Follansbee, which seems to be as much a part of the local culture as leaf peeping, summer kayaking, and winter skiing.

There is a charm of peacefulness as all the families setteled in at the Follansbee Inn. The children went to the play room of games, cards ,puzzles boards and were happy and content. The sleeping quarters were outstanding and very comfortable. The morning breakfast was always a delight of different creations that were tasty. Our older children made a viedo: http://www.magisto.com/album/video/ent-BQwCRQkfDnIHDQ?source=facebook Hope this opens to see the smiles on all the faces. "Great time at Foolansbee Inn"

We were altogether 3 families in our party who spent our new year's eve at Follansbee Inn. It was homy, cozy and warm feeling. Just like being at home. We've met the other guests and we chatted together with Dennis (the owner). Our kids indulged with chocolates that they offer at every nook of the house. The breakfast was fabulous gourmet. We found the two lounging rooms with fireplaces very comfortable and nicely decorated. There's the gaming room for quiet reading or board games, the entertaining room with bar and piano was perfect with playing or listening to music. They have selections of CDs or use your iphone. Cat and Denis were both fabulous hosts. Thank you for the great accommodation and the wonderful time we've spent at your inn.

We made a reservation through an on-line booking site to stay at Follansbee Inn for a ski overnight. Unfortunately, one of our kids got injured, and we called at 4 PM to cancel the reservation. The staff was gracious and did not charge us. We were grateful for the consideration.
"A Must Stay"

My friend and I wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of city living and celebrate my birthday out in a more rural place. From the moment we arrived Denis (the Inn Keeper) was very friendly and accommodating. Since we were the only ones to book for that particular night, he allowed us to upgrade and pick any room our heart's desired, for no additional charge. He took us on a tour of all the rooms and let us decide, once we decided he carried our bags up and allowed us to get settled. The house itself is very warm and cozy with an oven burning heater in the family room. The corner views of the bedrooms are lovely and there is a state park right across the street. If you like to drink, there is an open bar area and we were able to help ourselves to whatever we wanted (but we don't drink). The next morning, Denis made us a homemade made-from-scratch breakfast that consisted of roasted potatoes, omelets (with cheese and asparagus), mushroom sausage (we are vegetarian), cinnamon buns, fresh fruit and freshly squeezed orange juice and unlimited coffee. The food was so flavorful and satisfying. Denis' dog, Angel, was just that...she was an Angel and such a nice added touch. My friend and I definitely plan on going back again in the Spring.
