"Wonderful place !!!"
Mike and Ann Marie made us feel at home. The place was very clean and the morning breakfast was excellent. We will be staying here everytime we come to the shore !!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"I absolutely loved this place"
My boyfriend and I went for an overnight getaway and this place was fantastic. We already love the Belmar/Spring Lake/Sea Girl area, and this place is now one of my favorites. I rode a bicycle for the first time in a while and I had a blast doing so. The owners are friendly, nice and accommodating. The snacks and breakfast were fantastic and you can […] have tea or coffee at any time (juice and other things as well, provided they have it in the fridge). Unlike other B&B's in the area, you don't have to leave money for a drink, which is wonderful. The room was clean and adorable. I can't say enough good things. We are a couple in our early/mid 30's and it's great for our age, or for anyone really. We especially liked the use of the bikes, at no extra charge. Go here - you won't regret it. We plan to go back extremely soon, maybe a week or so. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

We loved our time at Tandem Bike Inn. Perfectly quaint town, located only blocks from the beautiful beach and board walk. We have since recommended the inn to our friends and family for a weekend getaway. The owners bring a personal touch and energy that is refreshing and generous.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Best B&B at the Jersey Shore!"
07/14/14 kehern Kearny, New Jersey
My boyfriend and I stayed at the Tandem Bike Inn for a long weekend at the beach and were nothing short of ecstatic about our choice with the Tandem! This is a nautical-themed b&b with a modern twist. The owners were extremely hospitable from the very beginning and made us feel right at home. Our room was comfortable, quiet, and had some great amenities including a large flat screen tv, dvd player, and a Jacuzzi tub. Location was great, being just a few short blocks from the beach, and breakfast here each morning is absolutely AMAZING! This place is a gem and we will absolutely be back again. I would recommend this lovely b&b to anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful beach side vacation spot. I really cannot say enough wonderful things about the Tandem- thank you for a wonderful weekend!
"Fantastic place, stay here!"

My fiancé & I decided to stay here last minute for one night in June. Everything about our experience was positive. Booking was quick & easy. Owners were very nice and accommodating. Rooms extremely nice and updated with all modern amenities. Room # 6 on the third floor even had a fireplace. Bathroom had a spacious shower. It was a quiet and comfortable stay, all while being in the heart of Belmar near Main Street. Highly recommended.
"Our stay for our anniversary was absolutely lovely!!"

Wonderful bed and breakfast! The owners are so warm and detailed oriented! They sure know how to spoil you! Thank you for helping us celebrate our 17th Anniversary!! We will be back! The home was situated with walking distance to many restaurants and the owners had a tandem bike for us to use the the morning! What a great time! I would highly recommend this bnb to anyone!
"perfect bed and breakfast close to beach!"

Anne Marie and Mike are the perfect hosts! We did not have to think about towels, chairs, umbrella etc. for the beach because they have everything you need! We arrived early and they still let us unpack and use the amenities while they prepared our room. Anne Marie also upgraded our stay to a bigger room just because! She made a wonderful breakfast and had the best toffee brownies as a snack after our day at the beach. I would recommend anyone who is looking for a CLEAN, CLOSE TO BEACH and COMFORTABLE stay close to the shore, this is where you should be staying!

I stayed here with friend for one night during the first weekend of summer after we decided to take a last minute R&R trip. I have stayed in many B&Bs, this one is my favorite. Pricing: The price was incredibly reasonable (for the location) and included a full breakfast, afternoon tea and cookies, beach passes, beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, and carts to take to the beach. For the area, I could not find a better priced B&B that included so many amenities and was so aesthetically nice, clean and updated. Location: The Inn is able .5 mile to the beach and is easily walkable. Once you get to the beach, there is a beautiful, brand new boardwalk that seems to span the entire length of Belmar. You can walk on it right to Spring Lake and it just seems to keep going. It is also less than a .25 mile to Main Street with lots of dining options and a Rite Aid. It sits on a quite street with other residential homes and Inns. When I was looking for a place to stay, I wanted a town/lodging that would have the least amount of traffic coming in and out of town. All things relative, Belmar was a great choice. On Saturday and Sunday, we hit very minimal traffic entering and exiting the town. Inn Keepers: Mike and Anne are awesome. Very attentive and will help you out in pretty much every way they can. The let us store some luggage on the checkout day so we could take advantage of the beach and use the beach passes/towels/carts/chairs, etc both days. They have truly thought of everything to make the stay as relaxing as possible. The Inn: It has a gorgeous wrap around porch with rocking chairs that many people enjoyed hanging out on during the day and at night. On the side porch, Anne and Mike craftily set up several dining tables so that couple and families could enjoy a nice breakfast or afternoon tea without feeling like you have to sit around a table with strangers. It gives it the vibe of a nice, quaint restaurant. Although, inside, there is an option to eat at a large table if that's what you are looking for. There is also an outdoor shower to get the sand off your feet at the end of the day. Breakfast: Fantastic. Anne made homemade french toast and Canadian bacon served with maple syrup, raspberries on top, and a buttery sauce. Delicious!!! She also set up muffins, bananas, apples, warm oatmeal, fruit salad, and yogurt with all the fixings (nuts, dried cranberries, etc to add as you please). Cranberry juice, OJ, coffee and tea were also available. We were at the beach for afternoon tea and cookies so we didn't get the chance to try that out. Room: We stayed in Room #4 (Spinners). This room is located on the second floor of the Inn. It was a well-sized room with a queen bed and a large ottoman that converted to a twin bed. This is a great option if you have two people that do not want to share a bed. Anne came when we left for dinner and converted the ottoman to the twin bed so we didn't have to mess with it. There was still plenty of space even with the twin bed made up. For a B&B, the bathroom was very large. The shower was awesome. It was very large, great water pressure and more than sufficient hot water. No bathtub. There was also a blowdryer and a nice makeup mirror. There were blinds and curtains on the window which meant that when both were drawn the room was nice a dark, making it easy to sleep in. The location of the room was also great. I don't think it abutted an other room, so there was absolutely no noise from neighbors. There is noise (just moving around) from the third level, but I didn't hear it until about 9am so it wasn't a big deal to me whatsoever.
"Awesome service, very clean rooms, gourmet breakfast"
Owner Mike is very friendly and helpful from helping you park your car to securing a couple bikes for 5am sunrise. Rooms are very clean and uptodate. Breakfast had fresh fruits, granola, oatmeal and french toast. Lovely atmosphere. Will come again.
"Wonderful Weekend Getaway!"
06/09/14 Dawn G New York City, New York
We had such a wonderful impromptu getaway weekend at the Tandem Bike Inn. Mike and Anne Marie were very welcoming guests and Ann Marie's breakfasts and afternoon freshly baked cookies were absolutely delicious! The beach was a little far, but walkable and the Inn provided beach badges, towels, beach chairs and a big beach push cart which made the walk, and the beach experience, a whole lot easier. Overall, it was a great stay and a wonderful B&B that we would definitely stay at again!
"very clean, friendly, thin walls"

This is an adorable bed and breakfast a little over half a mile from the beach. It definitely was a walkable distance straight down 10th Ave. My friend and I stayed here the night before the NJ Marathon/Long Branch Half Marathon. There is parking behind the BnB so go down the driveway. We did not have an issue getting into a spot, but they might be tight for a large SUV. There seemed to be street parking though. We were greeted by the owners who showed us the lay of the land. In the breakfast area there is coffee, tea, and hot water. The mini fridge had yogurt, fresh water, and milk. There are a number of magazines in the living room area which you could take out to the large porch with rocking chairs. The owners gave us tips for restaurants in the area. There is a security code if you come in late at night (10 or 11 pm). We stayed in the two twin beds room which was a good size. There was a small flat screen tv mounted to the wall and it included Verizon cable with pretty much all of the channels you could want. The bathroom had a sink with a shower (no tub, not an issue for us). The room and entire BnB seemed very clean. The comforter was so white and clean you’d think it was brand new. My only complaint about the room was the walls were very thin. You could hear the other guests including a screaming toddler. Luckily, no one was up late so it did not bother us. We were going to be up extremely early to get to the race so the owners left us out some food so we would not miss breakfast. They offered to give us more, but fruit and cereal is all we needed before a race. I would definitely recommend the Tandem Bike Inn.

We recently spent a relaxing and wonderful getaway night at Tandem Bike Inn and Mike+Anne Marie couldn't have been better hosts. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast and took advantage of the 24/7 cookies and beverages. The accomodations were clean and neat, very comfortable. The entire feel of the B&B is 'comfort'. We look forward to returning...hopefully, very soon. Thanks Mike+AnneMarie...very nice time and enjoyed meeting you both.
