"Good place for weekend"

Hotel Warszawianka is a good place for weekend near to Warsaw. There is very good offer for SPA, massages etc. I had a business room class it is OK but there are missing some details in room. Restaurants in hotel: Goralska chata - don't go there!. Food is really awful. I was eating some fish with salad. It was totally different than in menu. Vegetables were not fresh and I have moth in my plate (!) Manager didn't even tell sorry to us. Yacht Club - is closed out of season. Galeria - Is inside hotel building, in the lobby. Atmosphere is not so good, there are only few tables stright in the lobby. Try eat steak - not so big but good. Club 77 - its place for kids, with bowling, poll and some table games, nothing special. Guys from bar don't know how to make a drinks. Pool is a little bit overcrowded in weekends, there are lot of kids, running and screaming. Maybe because there are a lot of people who don't live in hotel.

Excellent service both reception, restaurant, animators! Comfortable rooms for family with child, swimming pool with special attractions (wild stream) were really great. It was snowing so hotel provided sledges, we had a funny snow ride with beautiful frozen lake landscape. Otherwise the family activities program was also interesting: we were making birds feeder ! There were few corporate groups, but hotel had good logistic and the atmosphere was privately. I strongly recommend for family weekends.

This is a conference hotel and is definitely not the place to stay if you intend to go back and forth to Warsaw. It took us one hour in a car each way and there did not appear to be any public transport to get there. On arriving in our room (spacious and clean with a very good bathroom) we realised that we had not been given a double bed. I asked if we could change rooms and was told that all beds are convertible. Within ten minutes housekeeping had transformed our beds by pushing them together and adding a topper and new sheet, avoiding that nasty 'gap down the middle' which always seems to draw me into it! The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were very good. We were very disappointed that the swimming pool was closed for maintenance work - without this, there was not much to do. We did walk round the grounds down to the lake but this was not enough to keep us occupied. Wi fi was included. Sent from my iPad

We've been to Warszawianka 4-5 the last two years so i believe i have a good understanding of how this hotel had transformed the last 2 years. The hotel is perfectly situated very close to Warsaw and the landscape is amazing. There is a perfect environment for the kids and is highly recommended for families. However the last 3 times we stayed at the hotel i have noticed a decline almost in everything. Staff appear less and less helpful (i would even say rude), and generally there have been some reduction on "Family oriented services" vs "Corporate oriented services". If the hotel indeed is trying to move into that direction that they'd better train their staff better and teach them some English. I stayed at the hotel a long weekend, and although during the booking i was told that the Pool and Fun-Park wouldn't be open due to maintenance i was assured that there would be some other Kid's events and animators to keep the children busy. Upon our arrival we were given for the kids some name tags for their participation of the even the following day. The event never happened and when i requested to be informed all the English spoken receptionists disappeared. During the booking i had requested an extra bed in the room for our child, they have offered a couch that becomes a bed and i requested to have an extra mattress as the previous time we stayed this solution was not comfortable and the child ended up in our bed. I received a writing confirmation that i would be offered that but again even when i showed them the e-mail they pretended they didn't know what i am talking about. I am not sure what is going on but the overall feeling is that they are not focus on guest needs, it appears to be old school of customer service. Too bad that this amazing facility is wasted by management... In the past i had contacted the hotel and i received a template response saying that: "Dear Guest, Thank you for your stay in our hotel and thank you for your time spent to write your review. We are extremely grateful for your opinion - all reviews are very important for us. I do apologize for this experiences. I would like to assure you also, that what you describe in your comment is definitely NOT our hotel standard. Once again, I am very sorry for such experience which had no right to happen in our hotel We will be happy to host you in Hotel Warszawianka Wellness & SPA in Jachranka again." Much better from some other older responses that English was dreadful ... wake up guys stop wasting this excellent facility, don't take time to reply spend the time to fix the mess ... Thanks, N.
"Nice place to stay and relax"

(+) An attractive location in a nice area, close to a river and a lake. Free and quite big parking space. Pleasant and clean rooms with very comfortable beds and free WiFi. Tasty breakfast, availbale a wide variety of food (I recommend delicious pancakes). Swimming pool, sauna and SPA (for free for hotel guests) and a squash court on-site. Courteous service at the reception and in a restaurant. (-) Big spaciousness of the hotel complex (about 300 guest rooms located only on 2 floors), what caused a necessity to overcome big distances between reception, room, restaurant, SPA (missaplied the name Aqua Park for this place but 20 m pool and saunas enough sufficient). Numerous of loud participant of conferences and trainings - full restaurant in the evening.

We've been to Warszawianka a number of times over the last couple of years, so have a good insight into the best and worst of this hotel. On the high notes: the hotel is conveniently located close to Warsaw, the location at the Narew river is very picturesque. The grounds are fantastically landscaped, attractive to both kids and adults. Some of the latest architectural additions are absolutely top class including stylish modern decor of the new conference wing, as well as the Yacht Club restaurant. We have always stayed in the deluxe (now business class) rooms, and each time there was no disappointment with regards to amenities, cleanliness and decor. You can ask for a room with the view of the river and the staff have always accomodated our preference in this respect while booking. The food is quite nice with a good variety of dishes that should satisfy various tastes (from Polish country food in Chata Góralska, through mouth-watering Nouvelle cuisine in Yacht Club to buffet of hot and cold dishes in the main restaurant in the conference wing). The staff is very friendly and usually professional (but see below). Kids entertainment is a big plus for busy families with children (note: the so-called animation available only at weekends until Sunday afternoon). Now minuses. Recently, we have noticed a steady decline in the quality of facilities provided. Examples: espresso coffee machine was removed from the main restaurant (apparently cost-cutting excercise), bikes for kids and adults are no longer available (they used to be part of a Family Weekend deal), some other activities that were included as a part of Family Weekend deal are also missing (e.g., one free round of 10-pin bowling). Over the last few months the hotel is definitely moving into the direction of 'corporate' over 'family friendly', which can be clearly seen by the predominantly corporate clientele even at the wekeends during the most recent months. Last but not least, it is extremely disappointing to experience the worst kind of attitude from some people hired by the hotel, which totally negates attention to customer care to be expected with any reputable business. Example: We recently hired a pedalo from the man at the hotel's private beach assuming the equipment would be fully operational. Not only that the steering lever broke off in the middle of the river making it very distressing for us and our 5-year old but the equipment hire 'cowboy' tried to blame us for this fault and charged us the full amount for hiring his faulty equipment. To make matters worse the hotel manager who witnessed the whole episode didn't temper the guy but offered us a drink (soczek...) to cool things off. That wasn't professional. We certainly expect much more from the hotel that has worked hard over the last years to achieve good branding... So there you have it: a hotel with the great past and potential that steadily declines in its branding. That is the reason, to our great disappointment, why we have doubts if we return.

Nice relaxed atmosphere, great environment, conveniently located, lots of entertainment for kids! The Yacht club restaurant is a magnificent place, nice for lounging and good food & beverages, although menu kind of limited. As we come back at least once every year obviously it is worth recommending it!

Really nice place in a really nice area outside of Warsaw- lake just around the corner - but missing good customer service. They are not focus on guest needs. Staff are really stressed so they scared to do more then they should... Old school of customer service. Place incredible anyway. To bed that wasted by managment.
"Good place for conferences"

Good location, Huge area, tastefull and various breakfasts. I was there on weekend bussiness trip in November. We have organized conference for 200 people there. Great meetings rooms, few restaurants. Yacht Club restaurant great in spring & summer. Professional service. Good level of SPA treatments. For romantic weekend no - but for bussiness trip or conference for customers up to over 500 people - I would reccomend this hotel. The only disadvantage are romms in "old" part of the hotel. In my opinion far below 4 star hotel - renovation needed.
"Waterpark plus conference hotel"

I knew about this conference hotel not far from Warsaw and near by the Zegrze Lake but it was first time I came to see it by myself and experience it with family. Waterpark is very nice - for adults and for children. Some special equipment for kids to have fun apart of Waterpark was also provided in summer time. By the way I have visited recently enlarged conference part that is really impressing! Hotel was quite empty and some bars/restaurants were closed so distance to the one running restaurant was quite long... This was in fact the only negative aspect of this hotel. Near by small beach gives possibility to rent a kayak or just to relax with a nice view on the lake.
