Enjoyed my stay very much. The hotel is in a great area for convenience, and within walking distance of the Skytrain, River taxis, et al. The staff members are courteous and responsive. The area immediately outside the hotel is skanky, but you're not paying for the Outside of the hotel, & it is perfectly safe. Be sure to have something in print to show […] to taxi drivers to make it easier to find, or hand the driver a copy of the hotel phone number in case it's confusing to them. "Solid affordable hotel"
Tucked away in a small alley, it's very quiet at night. Staff is phenomenal, and they speak English quite well. Rooms are clean. Shower is lukewarm, but tolerable. Location is just ok, but close enough to BTS and river taxi to get around to most of Bangkok.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Love the milk tea in the lobby. Make sure your on the higher floors for a better view. very cozy bed and clean, however the lobby smelled funny! Overall very good, i'd go back if my budget was under $30USD a day for a room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Near BTS Surasak, best service with beautiful hotel"
This hotel is close to BTS Surasak, which you can go to Siam for the shopping malls with only 31bath. This is a very new and well-maintained hotel. I was upgraded to the Superior for free when I came. It is a big room with King bed. Good Decoration with big LCD T.V. You can get free wifi , free water, some coffee and hot chocolate. (It tasted so good). […] Nice staff, good English speaker. I highly recommended you to this hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Really enjoyed our stay"
We stayed in this hotel for a few nights at the start of our south east asia trip. Its location is excellent - just a 5 minute walk to the Surasak station and a 10 minute walk to the Patpong area...if you're into that kind of thing! The staff were very friendly and the free hot chocolate was great. The lack of breakfast is its only downfall. The main […] thing is that the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I have to admit, I was a little apprehensive given the average star rating from past travelers. What a pleasant surprise. The hotel is clean, the rooms are clean, the location is quiet despite being a stone throw away from Silom road. I arrived super early in the morning at 2am and the lady at the check in counter quickly set me up with a room. The […] room was facing a wall and after talking to the counter lady the next day, I was moved to another room with a view (not great, but at least not facing a wall). Free Wifi, is available though the signal was weaker at the higher floors. Free coffee / hot chocolate and 2 free bottles of water are part of the deal. You don't get the swimming pool and other amenities but for the price you get a decent, clean and quiet base to explore Bangkok. Definitely recommended. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good location &cheap rates"
This hotel at Silom, Bangkok, is a budget hotel which rates fit value for money you pay for bed only. It's new, cheap rates, very clean and simple cute hotel with modern design, comfy bed, good location. Close to Silom Village shopping(few restaurants and gift shops there), short walk from Patapong night market. In proximity of Starbucks cafe(excellent […] sandwiches and coffee), shops, a gallery, Seashells Museum, and Silom Central shopping etc. It's about 1.5km from the river, tuk-tuk and taxis are everywhere, so transport is not a problem. The hotel is for short stay only as does not offer other services. Note some rooms don't have view at all(dead end wall) and also they ask for 500BHT deposit upon arrival(even if paid in full, in advance) and they will happily return money to you when you check out.I had no problems there and would recommend it to people on budget.
Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

This hotel is great and it is clean. The staff is very gentile. The location is a little bit hard to find bur if you ask to any people or take a taxi it will tell you the exact address. "Bargain hotel in a good location"
03/11/14 hod5on Newcastle Upon Tyne
Decided to stay in Silom instead of Sukhumvit during a recent trip to Bangkok. Managed to get a deal online for the iCheck Inn Silom for just over £20 per night (about $35). Despite the low price, this hotel is kept to a great standard. Although the room was quite small (as to be expected for such a good deal), it was more than satisfactory. Nice shower, big bed, TV, fast Wifi. This hotel has all you need and is perfect for someone wanting a nice hotel without breaking the bank. Staff were very friendly and helpful when arranging transport to the airport the night before I checked out. Overall I would certainly recommend this hotel and would definitely choose to stay here again if I was staying in Silom. The hotel is located on Soi 28 off the busy Silom Road. It is the only hotel on this small Soi. Patpong night market is about a 15-20 minute walk from the hotel but there are always plenty of taxis, motorbikes and Tuk Tuks on Silom Road if you are looking for transport to any part of Bangkok. I decided to use the BTS as often as possible when travelling further across Bangkok. The nearest station is Surasak and it is only a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Check on the map how to get to the BTS the first time and once you have done it once it is easy to remember.
"Excellent Value: Clean, Comfortable, Good Location"
03/03/14 D C Ubud, Indonesia
For about USD 35 per night, iCheck Inn Silom provides excellent value for money in a good location. LOCATION: + iCheck Inn is located at the dead end of Soi 28 off of Silom Road and is a ten-minute walk from Surasak station and Pier No. 1, which makes it very convenient to get to Khaosan Road, Chatuchak Market, Wat Arun, and other places in the city by BTS or ferry. Nearby you'll find a variety of restaurants (from local to Indian to Chinese to western), watering holes (from the requisite Irish pub to chichi bars at the Shangri-La and Mandarin Oriental), street vendors, and the ever-present 7-11s. Several times I returned to eat dinner and lunch at Siam House Cafe on Soi 20, just down the street. ROOM & AMENITIES: + The room was clean and moderately sized with a comfortable king-sized bed and a two-seat sofa, bathroom with a sink outside (which was odd at first but you get used to it quickly). + The A/C worked well and cooled the room quickly. + The safe in the closet was large enough to hold my laptop. + Two free 50 mL bottles of water per day are kept on the counter. (All the drinks in the fridge are part of the minibar.) + Upon request, you can get an electric water kettle. + Generally, the wifi strength was good, but at peak hours when many guests are on, it can be very slow or impossible to connect. + Flat-screen TV, and I never used them, but there was a DVD player and movies you could borrow from the lobby. SERVICE: + Check-in was a breeze and the receptionist was very friendly and professional, explaining everything about the room (what was free (water bottles on counter) and what was not), wifi password, and free coffee and tea in the lobby for guests. + Reception staff also helped me arrange a taxi to the airport and find a post office and a 7-11 that had a bus map in stock.
"Good value hotel, awesome service, but..."

My partner and I called iCheck Inn Silom our home away from home for 3 nights this February. Would I recommend this to travellers? Yes, if alone. Else, if you are a budget traveller travelling with your partner/friend, maybe think twice. First, the good: - The person manning the front desk was quite helpful, gave good recommendations and pointers for our stay, and spoke clear english. - Even though no late checkout was available, they still allowed us to stay for an hour or two on their lobby and we were able to give them our bags temporarily so we could go out for lunch on our check out day. - Free coffee and thai milk tea! This is awesome because I am a thai milk tea addict. - clean, comfortable, spacious room. The, the Bad: - ONLY ONE KEY CARD IS PROVIDED. This was a bit of a deal-breaker. This became a problem as there is no electricity in the room if you remove the key card on the holder. We can't leave the room unless both of us are going out. This became a problem as I can't even go downstairs to get some coffee/tea because the elevator wont work without a key and the room would have no electricity without the key. My partner would have to contend no electricity at night for the time that I am going downstairs. My partner also became sick for a night and thus could not go out. I WANTED TO GO OUT BUT I CAN'T, simply because there is only one key and I am not that heartless to leave my partner without electricity because I want to go out. I tried asking for an extra key but they said they really only provide one. - The hotel is in a small soi off Silom, it might be easy to miss. - The walls seem to be a bit too thin. It's a good thing their guests are well-behaved. It would have been a really good stay if not for the key issue. Hopefully, this would change and if it would, I will consider staying there again.

had a good time to relax after long hours of flying. The Staff are there to help you with anything in a friendly manner. Chillaxing is perfect if you want to. The location is idea for those who want to take it easy and plan their next move. Sky train is not so far from the hotel , only 10-15 minutes including dodging the chaos of Tuk tuks and traffic.
02/22/14 LynetteWillerton Bangkok, Thailand
What a find this was. Reception staff were excellent. The room was a good size with a very large bed. A few minutes walk from the Skytrain. Located down a side street but with lots of restaurants on the main road. Excellent value for money!

Easy to find. Really helpful staff. Was so impressed with the security and housekeeping. I've worked for a world class airline for almost 8 yrs, stayed in 5 star hotels all over the world and haven't seen so much attention to detail. It's the small personal touches that mean the most. Thank you. Will definitely recommend
"Very good value, everything was perfect!"

I only stayed for 1 night, in between trips but I almost wished I stayed longer! The room was spacious with all modern comforts. The mattress was perfect, a relief after the hard mattresses which seems to be common in Thailand. Service was very good and everything was straightforward. It's a quiet place since it's located in a small alley a bit away from busy Silom Road. For massage I can recommend Silom Body works, a 5 minute walk from the hotel. I'll be back for sure when I'm in Bangkok again!
"Keep that one in mind"

Located in a side soi in Silom you can get there within 10mins from the bts station. Very nice and helpful service staff. Nice rooms, showers and so on. Comfortable bed. Walls are thin, yes. But it was a quiet hotel providing a decent sleep. If you know motelone chain in Germany you have a pretty accurate impression of the icheckinn rooms.
"Finally, A Comfortable Bed"
01/06/14 Andy T Seattle, Washington
My partner and I found this place at the end of our month long stay and I wish we had found it the other two times we stayed in Bangkok. We are budget travelers! For an extremely reasonable price (about 1100 baht a night) we got: A very clean hotel and room. And incredibly comfrotable bed. The last 3 nights we were in Bangkok my partner was very sick, and we had to to settle in and nest. Thank god for comfortbale beds! An incredibly polite and attentive staff. Chiap who works the desk, was in particular, friendly and helpful. She helped us with everything from directions, to finding us boxes to travel back to the US with. 24-hour complimentary coffee/milk tea/ hot chocolate machine. Tasty! Free DVDs and dvd players to borrow. A shower with a partition! Did I mention the comfortable beds? The only reason this place gets a 4 instead of a 5 is it a bit of a walk to the sky-train and a little outside of the thick of things in Silom. But a 7 minute walk to the trains or a quick taxi ride (you know during the three hours a day the street isn't packed to the gills with cars) gets you into the thick of things very quick. The neighborhood itself was a little more high end than we prefer therefore immediate businesses were more expensive than nearby counterparts. But there is still reasonable food to be found. And there is a fun cast of characters that seem to inhabit this area. Incredible value for the money. We will be coming back here on our next trip to Bangkok.
"Lovely small hotel: clean, well located and cheap"
12/28/13 LDN_Lady London, United Kingdom
Stayed for 5 nights at the end of November. Was originally supposed to be 4 nights, but I liked it so much I booked an extra night! THE GOOD: - Excellent rate, in great location (Silom) - Modern hotel with free wifi throughout - Lovely reception/communal area with free use of Mac computer, printing is 10 BAHT (£0.20p) per page - Brilliant staff, who were so helpful during my stay. They can also book organised tours for you - Modern rooms with English television channels, safe deposit box and toiletries provided, no hairdryer though - ATM, currency exchange, 7-Eleven and Tops supermarket literally next door (to the right). Another 7-Eleven to the left. - Starbucks across the road, which is great to grab breakfast as there is no restaurant or bar within hotel NOT SO GOOD: - Hotel located down an alleyway & is difficult for taxis to find (just tell them Silom 28 rather than give the hotel name) - 15 min brisk walk to Patpong and night market - Nearest BTS station, Surasak, is a 10 min walk, BUT first you must survive crossing 6 lanes of crazy Bangkok traffic and then walking down a side street. Not so bad in the day, but a bit scary walking solo at night. - No tea/coffee making facilities in room, but free tea, coffee and hot chocolate provided in the reception area. Also a Starbucks across the street. - Furniture in room looking a teeny bit worn and not much of a view, but what do you expect for £25GBP per night?
