"Hmmm, this place isn't doing a lot right"
10/02/14 Alongwaysouth Melbourne
It's on a road into the Old Town that looks deceptively close - but it's still 20 mins walk in. So most of us caught the tram. We arrived in the early evening, and unfortunately found it almost impossible to get dinner. When it did eventually arrive at the place downstairs it was very average. We'll give the restaurant the benefit of the doubt when they said that that Chef cracked it and walked out on them leaving no-one to cook anything. The rooms are pretty basic and there is a bit of noise. This basic set-up wouldn't necessarily have to be a problem - if you were right in the Old Town. But you're still a fair trek from where the action is. And the streets immediately looked a little dodgy at night.
"Hit hotel is scam !!!"

Good location, not far from the Old City and nice district. But we've been disappointed from the first to the very last minute ! Our booking was supposed to include breakfast during our stay. We argued with the deskgirl, showed her the receipt from the booking website. She just replied she didn't speak French, and printed our form in Polish to demonstrate we hadn't paid for it... First swindle. We tried the hotel breakfast the first morning. It was 6 euros per person, extremely expensive for very poor buffet. First and only time we ate there. We then found out that the room was cleaned only every other day ! Finally, when we get home, we realized jewels had been stolen from us during our stay in Warsaw, despite being hidden in our luggage. We were absolutely incensed. Staying at Hit Hotel was merely robbery.

We stayed here only for one night. The hotel is ok if you only need a place to sleep in. Primitive. This is bad quality for a polish hotel, but prices are corresponding to the quality. Reception: As this weekend probably was the busiest this hotel have had in a LONG time, and there was a lot of guest to check in at once. But come on, how long do you have to wait to get your key to your room? Reception staff was not prepared for fast check-in, and made guest wait for a long time. Hotel: Smelly corridors. Rooms: (for 3 persons) Was big enough, clean and you get the basics. We had the room on the inside part, with a window facing all the other rooms and the rooftop of the lower part of the hotel. It was pretty loud, and the kitchen staff is making A LOT of noise, cleaning and sorting their equipment. Like an never ending sound of a kid playing on drums made of pots. The bathroom was ok, clean and you got everything you need. But the smell we had in our bathroom was like if there was an old, smelly sock lying somewhere hidden. Not welcoming at all. Wifi: They have internet in the rooms and in the lobby. Location: Close to the national stadium, train stop, metro. But it is located in the poor side of the city, so not very idyllic if you are staying only in this area. Quite far away from the city centre.
"Run, don't walk, from this hotel"

We stayed here aaa a part of a tour and the experience was not a good one. The beds were uncomfortable, the bathroom was not really clean and there is no air conditioning. That may not problem for some, but due to the design of the building, once you open the windows, you hear EVERYTHING that is going on in all the other rooms that have their windows open. We stayed there 2 nights and one if the nights we were woken up all through the night by people partying, a couple having LOUD sex and then a fight. The breakfast "buffet" was disgusting. One of our friends went to eat close to the closing time and said there were maggots. There definitely are better hotels in Warsaw, so stay there not here.
"A bit Hit and Miss"

Location of this hotel is fine, it's only one tram stop to the old city but as evidenced by other guests, it's not so easy to get a good night's sleep. The noise factor. To be frank, it did not effect me that much but others in my group said they found the noise from other rooms and general ambient noise prevented a good night's sleep. Maybe it is the thin walls, or the echo from the internal courtyard. Also, the rooms are hot, if you leave the window open, clearly you will get more noise. The room itself was clean and the web connection worked ok. The lift was also out of order, not a good sign and therefore all considered I would not really recommend this hotel.
"Good budget hotel in Warsaw"

A difficult property to rate. Position is great with close public transport giving ready access to the 'Old Town'. The hotel is reasonably large built in a square around an open central area, not quite a courtyard as it does not go to ground level. We were on the third floor and slept with the window open as it was very warm. It was also very noisy as every other guest had there windows open, coughing, snoring and other nocturnal noises were extremely clear. Breakfast was included and was basic fare with few staff in attendance. The room was large and clean with an almost comfortable bed. This is a two star budget hotel in a capital city which does not pretend to be anything else. Discounting the noise at night, this is a good choice for a short stay.
"Noisiest hotel I've ever stayed in"
06/12/14 Elizabeth H Warsaw, Poland
Yep, it's a 2 star hotel close enough to the centre of Warsaw. Only problem was that the staff seemed to have little or no control in reducing the circus of noise created by the hundred or so primary students staying there. It was an absolute disgrace. The noise generated from the kids running in the corridors and slamming their doors, although terrible enough, was nothing compared to the din from them yelling and whistling each other across the shared atrium onto which their room windows collectively opened. Despite complaints to the reception staff by a number of guests and despite consequent promises to speak to the adults supposedly supervising the students, little seemed to have been done, effective enough to reduce the noise. An outrage!
"Not so far from the Old town"

Location: The location is good! Easy access for tram station or even if you are young and dont mind walking in 20-30 minutes you can reach the old town. Crossing the bridge and have a total unique experience with view on the city and Vistula river. Room: Its simple and clean. I had a double bed (what was a little bit hard for me) plus a small kitchen in the corner with a table. The fridge is a big plus and useful if you buy beer in a store. New LCD TV on the wall. For all the people who blame the hotel. What do you want? Its a 2 star hotel! If you want more then go elsewhere and pay 5 times more for one night. If you are visiting the city you will stay in the hotel for taking a shower and sleeping. Staff: Very friendly and nice staff at the reception. They do speak English!
"Very noisy, tough place to get a night's sleep"
10/14/13 thevagabond Colorado
Location is pretty convenient, and front desk staff was helpful. But, we were booked in a twin room and when we checked in near midnight it had only one pillow, one set of towels. By the time we tried to settle in for some sleep the noise through the paper thin walls kept us up until the guests in the adjacent rooms had all fallen asleep. Noise began again around 5 a.m., then the next night the noise from the bar on the main floor kept us up again. Rooms are reasonably spacious, shower had good water pressure and plenty of hot water, beds were reasonably comfortable for this price point. If you can sleep through all the noise it's a good value, but beware if you're a light to moderate sleeper.

We had a memorable stay there. Food was appetizing, beds comfy, room clean, bedding soft, service quick, friendly and polite. No complains! Centrally located near main attractions and transportation. Nice and popular restaurant downstairs was always full!
