I had a wonderful time in Paris. The rooms are efficient, modern and very clean. Very easy to get to Metro stations since its located between two stops. Highly recommend this hotel for the travelers who are looking for a decent hotel in a budget. I would definitely stay there again.

"Quality Budget Hotel"
It's no luxury hotel, but a good place to stay for the price. Rooms are small and the building is relatively old, but it is clean overall and well-maintained. Beds are comfortable and there is free wifi. Staff is friendly and helpful, although English is a bit limited. Located near Gambetta. "Adequate but don't expect to like it"
The hotel has one shared shower and toilet for each floor, but that's not too bad because there are only four rooms per floor and a sink in each room. The biggest problem was just that the hotel is really old. The whole place has a certain neglect to it that gives it a funny smell and makes it difficult to decide if it's clean or not. (Ex: gray, weathered […] quilt on bed, dusty film on the walls, towel rack falls off constantly) Everything you need is there, it's just not pretty or comfortable. (ex: really small towel, bad mattress) The two biggest problems I had were the six floor walk up (no elevator) and the internet. The internet only worked on the first floor, but you had to receive a special dispensation to sit in the lobby- normally they chased you to a chair in a nook under the stairs- and on two of the four days I was there, the internet wasn't working at all. "Mary's Hotel--basic, but a good deal"
I stayed at this hotel even though it did not yet have any customer reviews posted. The hotel is very basic--no elevator, so I had to haul my suitcase up six flights of stairs. There was a shared toilet and shower in the hallway which had not been advertised. The room was very basic and did not resemble the photos I had seen. Overall, the hotel is a good place to stay given the low price. It does not give you any more than what you pay for, so don't expect hidden luxury, but if you're looking for a basic, clean place to stay that's not too far of a metro ride from the major sights in Paris, this is a good choice. "I'd stay here again"
This is a good budget hotel. As always, you get what you pay for. Unlike some cheap hotels, the rooms here have televisions, which I appreciated as I speak French. Some reviewers have mentioned the nearness to the metro as a big plus. "Very Basic Hotel Close to Metro Station"
I was in a single room at the top floor (floor six) and I spent three nights there. The top floor does not have a shower. I looked at the other five floor plans and all of them seemed to contain showers, whereas the top floor did not. I was provided in my room a sink with a bath towel and a hand towel. My room was clean, and the toilet was shared but […] was also clean. There is no air conditioning but the window opens very wide onto a small balcony. The wireless internet access is good but will only give you access for four hour increments; you have to keep registering. There is a TV in the rooms. I read that the rooms are sound-proofed, but the doors are not. This isn't too much of a problem as all you're likely to hear are other doors opening and closing. The neighborhood is a bit noisy, if you have trouble sleeping. There is no elevator, so if you are traveling alone and have a single room be aware that it is very likely you will have to climb six flights of stairs to get to your room each time you enter the hotel. The neighborhood is very nice; there is an ATM about a two minute walk from the hotel (my American Mastercard was rejected at the hotel), there are several restaurants in the area, and the location of the Metro is literally around the corner across the street. My overall opinion is for the price, location, and convenience; you really can't beat this hotel for a short stay. If you do plan to stay longer, I would make sure you get a room with a shower. "Low price but not convenience"
With regarding the high cost of hotels in Paris, this hotel doesn't cost much. This is the only benefited of this hotel. But except that, there are some problems which made it not suitable. There is no Elevator to going up and I had to carry my two big luggage to the 6th floor without any helping, there is no internet connection in the above floors […] and you have to come in the first floor to doing that, no air condition and no refrigerator also a little far from subway station. J'ai été très déçue par l'hôtel ! Pour ce prix qui n'est pas faramineux mais pas bon marché non plus eu égard à certains autres hôtels que je fréquente, je pensais qu'il y aurait des toilettes et une douche (je n'avais même pas vérifié tant cela me paraissait évident). Juste un lavabo et toilettes sur le palier... L'horreur. (J'avais réservé une single). […] Niveau propreté, j'ai retrouvé une baleine de soutien-gorge sous le lit et des moutons (je vérifie toujours si je n'ai pas oublié quelque chose et non, la baleine ne venait pas de mes vêtements. La literie est relativement confortable, c'est le seul point positif. La serrure est montée à l'envers (on doit tourner la clé dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d'une montre pour entrer et vice-versa). De plus, j'étais placée au 6e sans ascenseur, c'est haut et pénible même pour les jeunes, et l'escalier était poussiéreux, visiblement à cause de travaux. A prendre en dernier recours donc. "Avontuurlijk verblijf"
In de kamer ontbreekt een douche en toilet. Deze zijn op de gang. Dit zou toch uit de info moeten blijken. Ook is er geen lift. Dan is een 6e verdieping best afzien. Slechts een enkeling spreekt meer dan Frans. Het hotel is niet rookvrij. Trouwens geen minibar en geen fohn. Voor het internet moet je een account openen en je steeds aanmelden. Echt vervelend […] was het steeds wegvallen van de verbinding. 1e avond lastig gevallen door nachtportier, omdat ik nog niet betaald zou hebben. Å finne hotellet er ikke vanskelig, men du må legge merke til hvor det er i forhold til metro-stoppet. Da jeg skulle sjekke inn fikk ble jeg møtt med meldingen om at jeg var en dag for tidlig, hvilket etter om og men viste seg å være resepsjonisten sin form for humor, men med svært mangelfull engelsk er det vanskelig å kommunisere ironi, etterfulgt […] av en tirade om at alle burde lære fransk. Vel oppe på rommet lukker jeg døra, og ser med en gang den virkelige statusen på renholdet. Det er også veldig lytt på hotellet, og om jeg hadde forstått japansk ville jeg også fått med meg naboens samtale med de hjemme uten problemer. Som forventet fra et lavprishotell i paris. Bodde på et noe snodig tremannsrom, hvor sengene opptok all plass i oppholdsrom. Det var stoler på et nokså stort bad som kompensasjon. We recently spent a few days at Marys hotel. The location of the place were on the east side of the city, but it hardly mattered due to excellent Metro connections. The rooms were small, with some off colors, but they were clean and decent to stay in during the nights that we didnt tour Paris. The staff were awesome.
