Can't beat the location - right on the main street, walking distance to the ocean and tour bus locations. The hotel internet did not work in my room (1 bar at best), but did work great in lobby. Room was small and very much a 1 or 2 star. Didn't try the breakfast as there were many great pastry shops nearby. Tip: Don't pay the 35 Euro to taxi from the […] airport, the 1 Euro airport bus takes you in walking distance to the hotel. The bus to Cannes and Monte Carlo are all in walking distance as well. Our hotel was ideally situated amongst the restaurants and shops and not far from the beach. We just found it a little hard to find as the sign is hard to see. The hotel is about 6 blocks from the main railway station (15-20 mins walk) and about 2 blocks from the beach and the main esplanade. The breakfast we had was I think from memory 8 Euros per […] person, but wasn't much for the price. We had brekky one morning and then went out for the following 2 mornings we were there. This hotel was ok but our room smelled of cigarette smoke that we could not get rid of and the noise from the main street below at night was really bad. Unfortunaly we also had a group of people one room over that ran around the hotel screaming, crying and slaming doors til 4am which wasnt the hotels fault but still added to our experience. This is very centrally located in the restaurant area of Nice and close to transport and the Promenade des Anglais. My room at the back was quiet, even though the street in front was crowded with diners. Reception staff were helpful and breakfast was adequate.

Stayed at the Regence for 3 night in Oct 2011. The twin room was small and there was just enough room to walk round the bottom of the beds. However the room was spotlessly clean, as was the rest of the hotel. The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel is excellent for a 2 star rating. This is a smoking hotel, if you do not like the smell of smoke then do not stay here. Our room smelt so strongly of smoke that after one night we felt physically sick. Luckily we were staying for only one night. The hotel is not great regardless of smoke, the only reason to stay here is for the location.

The room in this hotel was fairly small and could benefit from having a full length mirror installed, however it was very clean and provided handwash and shower gel which is not available from all 2 star hotels. The hairdryer was very poor and would have taken about a week to dry my hair! The location more than made up for the minor complaints we had […] as it was in the centre of a pedestrian precinct with many restaurants and shops on the doorstep. Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Trotz Teppichboden war das Zimmer sehr sauber. Das Hotel befindet sich an bester Lage (direkt an verkehrsfreier Shopping- und Restaurantstrasse, nahe Meer, nahe Bushaltestelle).

Veldig fornøyd med hotellet som er nær til alt. Ingen luksus, men reint og ordentlig og med god sevice. Vi fikk byttet rom fra gågatesida mot bakgården, og der var det helt stille. Vi fikk også rom med to senger, i stedet for grand lit.(mot ekstra avgift). Hotellet har rimelige priser.

A very nice experience, for the price it was very good. Nothing fancy but clean and perfect location. Absolutely recommend this hotel. Rooms small and bed hard, but clean and enough for 2 persons if you are planning to spend most time enjoying Nice anyway. However do not eat just outside the hotel, take a walk towards the harbor through the old town, […] there you find the best places to eat and the prices are much better. Bodde her en natt ifm gjennomreise. Sentralt ift shopping, restauranter og strandpromenaden. Rommet vi fikk var med tepper og røyklukt hang igjen. Frukost var ikke inkludert og om eg skal bo der igjen spiser eg frukost på en kafe. Meget hyggelig personale.

En el centro de una calle peatonal ,cerca del mercado de flores , cerca del paseo marítimo . Muy bien situado , pero las habitaciones muy pequeñas y ruidosas , sobre todo si da al exterior.
