Slightly below satisfactory. The hotel was in a very convenient location, directly across from the metro. The neighborhood of la republique is a little sketchy at night but overall a great neighborhood for restaurants, bars, and shops. It is also centrally located so getting to all the big tourist attractions is pretty easy. The room itself was pretty […] big and more or less clean-possibly in need of a facelift (doesn't look quite as nice as the pictures show it to be). What I didn't like about the hotel was the security. I felt like anyone could walk in off of the street and ask for the key to my room. Very basic amenities. But room was ok and clean. Traffic is a bit noisy. Just steps from the metro station entrance. Front desk is in a tiny space, but the staff was both friendly and helpful.

Seeiously, the worst part of my trip. Spiral staircase, no elevator, 5 flights. My bathroom felt as if it was recently updated. It seemed that there was dust piled up in corners in the room (separated from the bathroom by a door). I figured 5 flights, not many vacuums are coming up the steps. Sirens in the middle if the night are jarring and consistent. […] A few resturaunts/fast food places around, GREAT access to the metro. All front desk staff was very personable, helped with planning out site seeing. Good view from top floor. If you can afford more, spend more somewhere else. If you do have to stay here, you're getting what you pay for. Not a bad thing, just think of the value and do not expect more. The Hotel Bien is close to Gare de nord train station (about 15 min walk or 2 stops on the metro). The room was very basic. No air conditioning which was not good since it was very noisy with the windows open. we had some hair from the last persons beard left in the bathroom but other than that it was pretty neat and tidy. The bed was very hard and […] the pillows were very flat. Down side was the stairs as we were on level 4 so had to carry everything up. Could hear people going up and down the stairs as well. Our shower did not have a holder so it was a struggle showering but could be easily fixed. the area seemed like a low economic area but we had no problems. lots of beggars around. good bakery and laundry mat across the street. The positives were the staff. they were very helpful and 24 hour admin was a nice touch. if they spent a bit of money in the room would be much better experience. overall not bad for your money if you dont mind the stairs and no air con. Great location. The hotel is a 3 minute walk from Place de la Republic which has tons of great restaurants and electronics shops (if you need them like I did to find a phone charger). From there it's a short walk to the louvre and the major tourist attractions. There is also a metro stop right outside the front door. The rooms aren't big but they're clean, they have their own bathrooms, and great view. The surrounding neighborhood isn't so great. Lots of Parisian vagrants all over the place. But the area is still safe of course. It's just that particular section of Bvld. Magenta. The restaurant downstairs is pretty good for breakfast and the reception desk is really helpful. If you need help getting around the city just ask the guy sitting behind the desk who's rendered barely visible by his comically small chair and big desk. I recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy a short stay in Paris without breaking the bank on a hotel room. Read more

Hotellet har ingen hiss och trapporna är branta så det är ganska tungt att kånka upp väskorna 5 trappor som vi gjorde. Rummet var litet och saknade garderob och byrå. Det fanns krokar för jackan, två hyllor, en pall, ett nattduksbord och en 120 cm säng - alltså en dubbelsäng i minsta laget men det fungerade. I gengäld hade vi hörnläge med ståbalkong […] och utsikt åt tre håll. Badrummet var fräscht och helkaklat fast duschen var liten och trång. Tunnelbanan ligger tvärs över gatan fast det är bättre att gå 200 m upp längs gatan till en annan station (Republique) där fler linjer går. Där också åt det hållet man går in mot citykärnan. Receptionen består av en person i ett litet bås intill trappan och entrén, bemannad dygnet runt. Hotellet är mycket litet. Det finns en restaurang intill entrén där de serverar frukost fast den provade vi aldrig. Som helhet var det helt okej. Litet och spartanskt men fräscht och lätt att ta sig till. Read more

Chambre spacieuse, mais petit lit deux place, je le conseil pour une courte durée car très abordable et vraiment proche de république, point négatif pour moi, il faisait très chaud dans la chambre et pas de porte entre la salle de bain/toilette et le couloir de l'entré... Hotellet er udmærket til prisen (rimelig lav), god beliggenhed og ikke langt til mange spændene seværdigheder.Men det er ikke godt nok, at man først efter reservationen får at vide, at der ingen elevator er, og at man får et værelse på 6. etage. Det burde oplyses inden reservationen, således at f.eks. ældre og gangbesværede ikke behøver at bruge tid […] på at reservere dette hotel. Det var hårdt at gå op ad så mange trapper, men for raske personer er det jo sundt. Read more

Bon rapport qualité/prix pour cet hôtel situé à 20 mètres de la sortie du métro. On ne souffre pas vraiment du bruit à condition de garder les fenêtres fermées. Agréable surprise que cet hotel. Personnel aimable, même si l’accueil de l’hôtel n'est pas bien grand. Les chambres sont spacieuses et avec du double vitrage nécessaire ici. Le métro est à 10 mètre. Seul bémol il n'y a pas d’ascenseur, faut le savoir. Mais je le recommande !

Номер был очень маленький, но переночевать - вполне подходит. Очень неудобный маленький душ со сломанным держателем для душа - это минус. Нас поселили на 5 этаже: винтовая узкая лесница, без лифта. Очень неудобно спускать/поднимать багаж. Улица очень оживленная, окна на ночь не откроешь, а кондиционера нет. Завтрак невкусный, а стоит 7 евро/чел, дорого […] для такого качества, лучше не брать. Расположение отеля удобное: одно метро в 50 метрах, другая ветка 5 мин хотьбы, до вокзала 15 минут пешком. До основных центровых достопримечательностей добираться удобно. Read more

Je suis restée 4 nuits à l'hotel bien être. J'avais appelé pour dire que j'arrivais tôt (8h alors que le check in est à 14h) j'ai du passé le temps à flâner dans les rues de Paris mais le responsable à réussi à me donner ma chambre vers 11h. La chambre était propre et les sanitaires aussi, par contre pas d'ascenceur. Et j'étais au 5eme et dernier étage. […] Seul point noir, mais le réceptionniste m'a monté ma valise. Hotellet låg väldigt nära centrum av Paris och ca 60 meter från tunnelbanan vilket var väldigt trevligt. De tre olika herrarna som satt i receptionen var väldigt vänliga och hjälpte gärna till när man hade någon fråga. Något som var negativt var att vi bodde på 3e våningen vilket innebar 5 trappor upp utan hiss. Handdukarna på rummet var även de samma […] under vår vistelse och tvättades aldrig. Das Hotel liegt jedoch an einer stark befahrenen Straße, bei geschlossenen Fenstern hört man jedoch nichts. In unmittelbarer Nähe sind 2 verschiedenen Metro-Haltestellen, Bäckerei und Supermarkt. Zimmer war sauber und wurde jeden Tag gereinigt.

L'hôtel est très bien placé (proche gare de l'est et gare du nord), quartier animé...le service est minimum (minuscule réception), mais largement suffisant. Nous avons été très agréablement surpris par la propreté de la chambre et de la salle de bain, visiblement refaite à neuf il y a peu de temps (moquette impeccable, carrelages et joints immaculés, […] mobilier moderne et neuf). Seuls point noirs : la literie vraiment trop dure à mon goût, et le bruit de la rue (grand boulevard), bien présent malgré le double vitrage (sommeil difficile !).
