Stayed here for two nights. Air conditioning wasn't working so the room was extremely warm. As the room was at the front and above the bar I couldn't open the window because of the noise. I didn't sleep on the first night. Said it to the receptionist the following morning so they delivered a fan to the room. If you are a light sleeper like myself I would recommend that you ask not to be on the first floor and to the front. On the second day I found ear plugs in one of the draws which I used that night. It helped a bit. Food was lovely. Staff atime the receptionist and in the restaurant were friendly and welcoming.

Excellent service with very good food. Rooms and facilties very good. The hotel is in a run down area but stands out like an oasis in the desert. Nothing was too much trouble.Theresa was outstanding in being helpful. entertainment provided was good too.

Myself, my wife and children stayed in Treacy’s Hotel just after Easter and found the staff very pleasant and helpful. We really enjoyed the food and dining in the hotel’s Thai restaurant. I have to give a particular mention to Eamon who served us. He was incredibly pleasant, attentive, good humoured and courteous throughout the evening. My family really appreciated the service provided.
"Kids Club Disaster"
04/17/15 ceceliamichaelo... .
Spent 3 nights over Easter holidays so the kids could enjoy the kids club. That's the ONLY reason we booked this hotel. Every night our kids were handed back to us after an hour by lazy unenthusiastic staff, who just wanted less kids to mind. It was disgraceful, we heard other couples complaining about it too. Worse thing was we made a complaint at reception, a complaint in writing and finally many attempts to contact management over the phone, nobody gave a damn. The phone in the room did'nt work. No fridge in the room, terribly inconvenient if your staying with small kids. A small room crammed with 3 beds. Very mediocre breakfast, no cheeses or individual pots of yoghurt for kids. In our haste to leave our little boy left his leap pad in the room, when we rang about it the next day, cleaning staff hadn't handed it in, disgrace. Wouldn't stay there again in a million years.
"Great location and value"

We stayed here while on our "Irish road trip" and enjoyed our stay. We had not made reservations because we really wanted to just drive until we were tired, then find a place to stay. Luckily, Treacy's had a vacancy, and the price was actually less than the price quoted on Booking. com. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a drink in the bar before walking downtown for dinner. The hotel staff gave us excellent directions to the restaurant we found on Trip Advisor.
"Hens party weekend"

Stayed in hotel for a hens weekend. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Was a last minute booking due to cancelled flights and the hotel still managed to leave personal touches for the bride and hen party on such late notice! Was very impressed. The rooms were lovely and modern, and even though we were sleeping while the cleaning staff went around, fresh towels teabags etc were left outside our door. It's the little things that make the difference and the staff definitely did! The different bars in the hotel were great too to cater for all age groups of the party.

Maybe it was because it was Easter Monday but the whole experience was disappointing. The man on reception was very busy dealing with other customers and answering the phone while checking us in and didnt even greet us. Our room was very dark - brown curtains, brown wardrobes etc,the end of the bed was only a few inches from the wardrobe so it was easier to crawl across the bed than try and walk around it. Worst of all there was a very noisy fan/air conditioning unit right outside the window which we were assured would stop at 9pm. It was still on and very noisy at 10.30pm when we came back to the room. The man on reception this time was more friendly and switched it off. The remote control for tv didnt work and we waited about 30 mins for a new one. We had dinner in the Thai restaurant which was very mediocre both in service and quality. It really felt like no one could be bothered about the guests. For breakfast next morning there was a good selection of cereals, juices and cooked breakfast but again the staff could not be regarded as friendly either towards each other or their customers. Enniscorthy is a lovely country town and the people we met in the town were very friendly and the surrounding area is very scenic - it a pity the hotel lets it down.
