Everything you could ask for in a B&B - warm welcoming hosts, lovely setting and rooms, excellent breakfast. One of the best we've stayed in!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
If you are looking for an ideal B&B experience, search no longer. Scoveston Grove is as good as B&Bs get, and even better. If I could give it six stars out of five, I would still be asking if I could give seven. The owners, Sue and Ray, are extremely hospitable and helpful but not invasive. Everything is very clean. Our room was rustic, as it should […] be in a place like this, but the bathroom facilities were absolutely modern. The breakfast was delicious (make sure you try their Glamorgan sausage, which is not a real sausage, but a vegetarian dish - it is fantastic). Overall, the place felt absolutely like home. "Charming B&B with outstanding host"
Sue was warm and welcoming and an outstanding cook. Bedrooms were beautifully decorated, very clean, and up to date while maintaining a vintage charm.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Great B and B"
Excellent in all aspects. Will use again and recommend.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Well, the previous night we stayed at Hilton near Birmingham - to be perfectly honest this B&B exceeds it easily. The keepers were the nicest people one can ever come across, the facilities were clean modern and well maintained, the rooms were cozy and furnished with good taste. Everything was kept to an incredibly high standard, though the jewell in […] the crown was the breakfast. It mainly consisted of homegrown ingredients, the cakes were freshly baked, the bread as well, the jams were delicious... Well, the only danger is that by staying here one inevitably would put a few pounds on, but who cares? it's worth it after all! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
ALL PERFECT THE ROOM SUE AND RAY FOOD SIMPLY THE BESTGenuine Hotels.com guest review
I did not know what to expect when I drove down the lane to Scoveston Grove, but I certainly didn't imagine I would have found the gem that I discovered on Hotels.com. When I drove up I was welcomed by the owners Sue and Ray who offered tea and Barabrith, which was served next to the wood burning stove. On booking I had not realised that the property […] was a B & B but Sue offered a number of suggestions of where I could eat and also offered to make me something. I took her up on her offer and chose to have an omelette which was fresh and really flavoursome. My room was extremely comfortable and had a number of very thoughtful touches e.g. bottles of water in the fridge on the landing, home made biscuits and full size shower gel. Breakfast was the best I have had in any hotel recently and I stay in a lot of hotels throughout the year. Would I recommend Scoveston Grove? Absolutely - I only wish I could have stayed longer! All the reviews on TripAdvisor were excellent, so our expectations were high and we were not disappointed. The welcome from Jake the dog was added to a fresh cup of tea and cake! "Pembrokeshire's best B & B"
This Guest House should be the standard that all others should be made to adhere to. Nothing was too much trouble, even to the point of rescuing us when we got lost. They went above and beyond of what we expected. The food was delicious and nearly all locally supplied or home grown. Their home cooking was a big success and if we had stayed any longer […] my husband would have to have been put on a diet. We wish them all the very best and will be recommending them to all who would like a break in Wales. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"An excellent B&B in a rural setting."
A very enjoyable experience and I can highly recommend it.Genuine Expedia guest review
A lovely welcoming converted farm house which has kept a lot of it's old charm while still offering some well furnished modern rooms. A very high standard of cleanliness with a lot of thought put into the stay. I was offered tea and cake on arrival and also found fresh welshcakes and milk in my room. All food seems to be home made with a very friendly […] and welcoming host. I'm hoping to return in the summer with my family to try out the self catering accommodation that the owner also runs. A lovely stay in rural surroundings. The only downside is the rough farm driveway but even my Mini managed it okay! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Bestes Frühstück in Wales"

"Full marks for B&B"

I had the pleasure of staying at Scoveston Grove B&B last Monday night, after a long drive I was warmly greeted and by the time I have taken my bags up to my room I was beckoned back down for a pot of tea and some lovely fruit loaf. The room was absolutely spotless, nothing was too much trouble and the breakfast was as good as I've had anywhere (even beats 7 star hotel in Dubai) I look forward to working in the area again!! Thanks Sue and Ray you have been highly recommended to HQ

Stayed at the self catering cottage, with my wife and two adult daughters, arrived to find milk in the fridge and a homemade fruit cake, that was superb. The cottage itself is huge and the lovely kitchen with AGA cooker and lovely view was fantastic. The lounge area with log burner and comfortable seating was great, the bedrooms, bedding and shower, bathrooms were 5 star. Will 100% be returning to this Fab cottage, the owners Ray & Sue couldn't do enough for us,fab hosts. Sullivan family Cardiff
We spent one night here a couple of weeks ago and we couldn't fault it. Sue and Ray couldn't do enough for us. The room was lovely, spotlessly clean and had everything you could possibly need. Last but not least the breakfast was to die for, especially Sue's homemade baked beans. x

The Scovestone Grove B&B is always a very much looked forward to part of our trips, not least because our boy loves it so much. Sue & Ray are incredibly hospitable, making every effort to accommodate us, and you feel like you've always known them. The cottage is gorgeous with a lot of and attention put into each room ut its so homely. In the mornings a wonderful breakfast cooked by Sue and also in the breakfast room were fruit juices, yoghurts, fresh fruits and different cereals. There are hundreds of things to do in the area and although the cottage in West Wales is a long away for most people, the trip is definitely worth it.

Quite simply the best B&B I have ever stayed in. Excellent home cooked food, nothing too much trouble and never before have I seen Lady Grey teabags on offer in a bedroom alongside home made Welsh Cakes and for a special treat there was chocolate cake too. Lots of extra touches and everything is very clean. Sue & Ray were very welcoming, we felt we had known them far longer than our 3 night stay. We would defintely stay there again. I can't recommend it enough
"A Hidden Gem"

The reviews for this place do not convey the full extent of the warmth and hospitality shown - how could they you have to experience this for yourselves. We only spent two nights with Sue and Ray but we were made to feel like part of their extended family. Nothing was too much trouble and Sue's home cooking set you up for the day's exploring of the Pembrokeshire coastline. Small, comfortable, clean; we could wax lyrical all day about the true enjoyment of our time spent but suffice to say we were so sorry to have to leave. Perhaps not the most inspiring approach to the place along a bumpy farm track but delicious coffee, tea and home-made warm bara brith on arrival makes up for that. This is 5* accommodation for bargain rates. A plea: Ray and Sue, please don't change a thing - we think you've nailed it.

We recently stayed 3 nights here. The room was very clean and comfortable with lots of 'extras' provided. Sue and Ray were fantastic hosts and really put themselves out to make us as comfortable and happy as possible. Breakfasts were delicious and Sue was always willing to adapt to her guests' requirements. We had such a lovely time at breakfast, chatting to Sue, Ray and the other guests, it was quite hard to drag ourselves out for the day!

We only stayed here two nights having been in the area for a wedding BUT what a find. You felt you had known sue and ray before, instantly by the fabulous welcome we received. Coffee, tea, home made cake to die for and a great introduction to what was available during our stay. All locally sourced foodstuffs were on the menu together with homemade bread, Jams, chutneys even Glamorgan sausages. The room was absolutely immaculate and perfect. We had the back room overlooking the meadow with a large ensuite which again was spotless. The beds had brilliant white cotton sheets which you just slid into at night before sinking into a deep sleep awoken only by the sun shining outside. This is by far the best accommodation I have stayed in for comfort, cleanliness, amenities, food and location ... I guarantee a return and cannot recommend highly enough that you consider this gem find. There's even a small terrace outside to sit and relax on a warm evening.... Don't hesitate .... BOOK !
"A gem of a B&B"

I've just spent a weekend at Scoveston Grove B&B and feel like I've made the discovery of the decade. This is a B&B that thinks it is a boutique 5* hotel. Perfectly located for exploring Pembrokeshire, Scoveston Grove is that rare thing - a home from home, but so much better. Sue and Ray, the owners have found the winning formula: incredibly comfortable en suite bedrooms, with all the small touches of a top hotel. Lovely toiletries, dressing gowns, hot water bottles, extra blankets (should you get cold), real coffee, all types of tea, homemade cake - and this is just in the bedrooms. Also, TV, free wifi, alarm clock & hairdryer. Outside - on the landing, a fridge for you to help yourself to water, wine, and all manner of snacks for when you have the munchies. The rooms are cleaned each day and the towels are changed: It's the sort of service I am used to in a 5* hotel and have never before come across in a B&B. Sue and Ray are the most welcoming of hosts. Upon our arrival we were offered fresh coffee and home made cake. But it is Sue's breakfasts that are Scoveston's jewel in the crown. She's an amazing cook and whether you go for the full English/Welsh breakfast or a lighter option - say Smoked Salmon and eggs, everything is freshly sourced locally. Fresh fruit salad, home made yoghurt, home made jams, fresh baked bread. The problem was knowing when to stop - it was all delicious. I wish we'd stayed longer so I could have tried everything. When we left, Sue asked if there was anything they could do better. Absolutely not - Scvestn Grve is perfect just as it is. We'll definitely be back.

we spent 5 nights here with ray and sue, our hosts provided top quality accomadation with all the little niceties of home. they provided excellent selection of home cooking for breakfast , in a pretty woodland setting , you enter down a farmers track off the Waterston road into an excellent setting of tranquillity ,you are greeted on arrival with tea / coffee, And the quality of looking after you never stops, great people, great setting .we will return again. As for Pembrokeshire there are some great beaches and a hidden gem at stackpole.
