"not really a good option"
far from airport..well 20 minutes. Taxi back and forward 100USD.Genuine Expedia guest review
"good value one night stay"
it is for the convenience of catching an early flight to Haneda Airport. ONE NIGHT ONLY ( a couple maybe in case of emergency ). Everything average but there was a CONSTANT NOISE of the extractor in the bathroom ( inside of the room itself) and we could not sleep. Upon our complaint the night manager offered to share the costs of our cab to the airport. […] It was a good and kind gesture. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Easy access from Magome Station"
Right next to Magome station exit. Reasonable price.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very small congested room and bathroom"
The single occupancy room was very very small. The facilities in the room were very basic. The bathroom is very tiny and even a person of 5'8'' height could not properly bath! The TV set in the room does not have English options. Good only if you are looking for night stay only.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Not too pleasent"
The staff was rude to me right off the start ,I got there 2:30 after a long flight and he wouldn't check me in until 3:30 even though there was probably rooms ready he just brought out the rules on me so he didn't have to work right away. Theres only WiFi in the lobby ,the interent in the rooms is wired through an ethernet cable, so you need a labtop […] to use it. The staffs english was very poor and seem disguised to try to even put an effort to communicate with me, I thought twice before I would want to ask a question in fear that it would go no where and they would be bitter with me. "Hotel review of Tokyo Inn"
A typical business hotel that is very good on location, just located outside the subway Magome station Price is reasonable. Basic amenities. Recommended if staying for short trips, whether for busines or leisure. Hotel is more for sleeping/bunking over, after a day's work or sightseeing.Genuine Expedia guest review
Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice location and breakfast"
1 - It's very convenient for people with luggage because it's right outside of subway station. 2 - Compared with it's price, it's breakfast is so good. Worthwhile to try it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Genuine Expedia guest review
"Worst hotel in japan"
Room dirty, far from narita airport, 2 hour journey.Genuine Expedia guest review
Genuine Expedia guest review
Genuine Expedia guest review
Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Genuine Expedia guest review
"good value for money"

I stayed there for 4 nights, a very good value for the price I paid. all Tokyo inn hotels have great location. mine was next to the umedza Nakatzu, Osaka. there is a supermarket around the corner. they have traditional japanese breakfast. Everythin is fresh and tasty.
"Great comfortable bed, English speaking staff"
04/30/14 dokodesuka Philippines
Great comfortable bed, English speaking staff Pros: 1) Good value hotel. 2) Not sure if just tired, but we've all had very pleasant and uninterrupted sleep on our hotel bed from the 2nd night. 3) Clean room; hotel staff cleans the room everyday (we can safely leave our items in the luggages in the room). 4) Very near Magome station. 5) There is a reasonably-priced restaurant (Coco's) on the 1st floor and a nearby convenience store in front of the hotel. 6) Staff are friendly and nice. Can speak English. 7) Free wifi. Cons: 1) Some people who are not used to Japanese semi-hotels or inns would comment that the room is a bit small. 2) On the first night, the room was uncomfortably warm due to airconditioning system. We have inquired about this and it just so happened that the airconditioning system was scheduled to be changed from warm to cool from our 2nd night (it was already late spring that time). Not sure how the hotel determines this schedule, but I think the hotel should be able to check whether airconditioning system should be switched to warm or cool depending on current weather/temperature information. 3) No English guidelines and information inside the room (e.g. how to operate TV, how to call information desk or another room, how to check-out, etc). 4) Some staff knows only very little English. We have arrived around 45 minutes early of check-in time. It was a bit difficult to explain to the staff that we would like to leave our bags in the hotel first while we eat lunch. (We eventually were able to communicate the request through gestures and mimes.) 5) Other than the restaurant on the 1st floor and the convenience store in front, there are no other choices nearby on where to buy food or where to eat.

Finding accommodation in Tokyo in July on very short notice is kind of impossible. Having tried all the places where we actually wanted to stay, The Tokyo Inn was pretty much the only option left. The hotel is a bit worn down, but it is a real hotel and really not a bad choice. It is a little bit out of the way, but let's face it, you WILL be doing a lot of traveling no matter where you stay in Tokyo. The Tokyo Inn is good value. We might return.
"Good value alternative to central Tokyo hotels"
12/23/12 MKMapman Milton Keynes, United Kingdom
The Tokyo Inn is conveniently located right next to the North exit of Magome station on the Toei subway line, so has fairly fast connections to all the main Tokyo attractions. Because it is outside the centre it can often be found at a much better rate (and has on-site car parking for a daily fee if anyone is mad enough to want to drive there!) Rooms are very small and were OK except for a very noisy motor in the bedside alarm clock that cannot be unplugged (so I ended up sleeping the wrong way round on the bed). There's a small bath/toilet and fridge provided. Reception was friendly although, as is normal, would not allow you to check in before 3pm, although they will look after your luggage - if you have time to kill, I would recommend seeking out the Ikegami Honmonji Temple complex about 25 minutes walk away - there are plenty of free, English language maps in reception which will show you how to find it. The hotel is above a Coco's family restaurant which serves a decent Western/Japanese style buffet breakfast, ideal before setting out on a long day's sightseeing in Tokyo. Their evening menu is less interesting (mainly faux-Italian food) but it's convenient; the Inn also provides a list of nearby restaurants by genre, with the usual choice of C-stores within 10 minutes' walk. If using the Toei line, note that not all trains run through to central Tokyo and going South to the hotel it's often best to take a Haneda train to Sengakuji (A07) then pick up a shuttle to Magome.
"Cheap & Good"
11/10/10 HazJija Singapore, Singapore
A little far from the Narita and the main city area but there's a train station just opposite the hotel. Friendly staff. Room was a little small (but then again all hotels in Japan are) but spacious enough for 2 people. Cheap for a hotel in Tokyo but with 5* service * amenities. Only problem is that there is no wifi but you can use the computer for free at the lobby. Overall an excellent budget business hotel. Wouldn't mind going back there again =)

Perfect hotel with small rooms but very clean. The nearest metro station is at almost 20mt....VERY VERY NEAR! The staff was very nice...
"Tokyo Inn - fine for the budget traveller who doesn't want thinks too basic"
07/30/07 RastaFourEyes Scunthorpe
Commenting on the previous review - Tokyo is 2 hours via train and metro away from Narita. So hotels in Tokyo will be 2 hours away. Magome station is very close to the hotel. The public transport system is so efficient and convenient you can get to the rest of Tokyo without too much hassle. If you stand looking at the maps for more than 30 seconds often someone will offer to help you. If you want to stay close to the airport don't go into Tokyo. The restaurant is open from 7am to 2 am. Tokyo Inn is a small budget hotel. It is clean. The staff didn't speak very fluent English but they spoke it better than I did Japanese. I've stayed their twice and I'd stay there again.
"Long way from Narita but neat little hotel"
03/10/06 AllisonjaneBrisbane Brisbane
Tokyo Inn is basically 2 hours via train and metro away from Narita. If you just want a stop over hotel look at a metro map of Japan and pick a hotel that is not the other end of Tokyo. There is a trick with the metro and you should make sure you are on the correct line as the tokyo inn is on a dog's leg line. As a hotel no complaints. Neat clean. Super small room. Convenience store across road. Resturant closed by time jet lag munchies kicked in. Breakfast interesting fusion of western items cooked in non western manner. This may be standard in Japan ??
