"Bad Restaurant Service"
Very nice hotel. New and in great shape. My issue is with the restaurant. I checked in at 9pm after a very long day. Sat in the restaurant for one more meeting. Asked the waiter to let me know the very last I could order a full dinner. At 10:30 I walked to the waiter and said 'I'm ready to order dinner' and his reply was, The kitchen is closed. Nada, […] no food. I was extremely unhappy and let them know, but there was no recourse. I will more than likely not stay there again, despite the nice shape the hotel is in and the other great staff. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice room but some small"
The room is clean and the bed is very conformable. The breakfast is very good. The only point that may be cared is that the room space is some small.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I stayed here for the night before catching an early flight at the airport. The hotel is new, in good condition. Five minutes taxi to the airport. The rooms are small and dark. I had no light next to my bed so it was difficult to read. There is no overhead lighting. The hotel is quiet. I'd probably stay again. Good price.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Very modern hotel close to the airport"
This is a brand new hotel, so everything is still new and shiny. It was almost empty during my stay, which was nice, as I could get full attention from the staff and unlimited choice of rooms/breakfast tables was on offer :) This place distinguishes itself from competition by using some technical novelties (check in, check out, coffee machine) and theming […] around music. The rooms are small, but nice and modern. Overall it has a "cold" feeling, but that doesn't have to be bad, as it's business targeted. I'd describe my stay as a bit surprising and refreshing experience, so give Soundgarden a try if that's what you're after. It will not be a good choice for a family or romantic stay, but I can give a strong recommendation to business/single travellers. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"very modern, close to the airport"
The hotel has opened recently so it still has a very nice "new hotel" feel. Breakfast lounge was not yet operational, but I would argue that was an advantage because I got a very nice breakfast right in the lobby. Rooms are tiny but very nicely planned, no phone - which is fine but, maybe they could add an alert on the TV activated by the reception […] that will show you that someone wants to contact you? No ironing board - I assume there should be adequate service to get your stuff ironed if needed. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great New Hotel!"
I stayed at this hotel on their first day of opening. I didn't know it was their first day when I booked the hotel, but it was a lovely experience. The hotel staff is incredibly friendly. Got me a great cab in the morning to get back to the airport. If you're flying through warsaw and need somewhere to stay I'd highly recommend this new spot.Genuine Expedia guest review
"An ultra modern hotel...great for a stopover"
A very modern hotel with an excellent breakfast buffet (canteen style). The room is tiny but very modern. Found the bed hard and would have preferred curtains to just net curtains. The lift had problems and took ages to come. But for the price the overall stay was great and I would recommend.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Ideal for business trip"
Modern self service hotel close to the airport, perfect for the business trip stay. We were positively surprised. There is a free wifi per room, which wasnt running 100% ok, anyhow with a few restarts of a TV (hotspot is built in to smart tv) it was ok. Will stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This was our first stay at this hotel but definitely not the last. Were it not for the bed being positioned between the walls (for a mature person getting out of bed in the night, having to negotiate the obstacle of a sleeping spouse, proved extremely difficult) the hotel would definitely deserve very high rating. Very comfortable bed, great shower and […] superb breakfast together with very helpful staff compensated somewhat! We only needed one night and were pleased with the connection to the Zachodnia bus station - not sure about longer stays as the hotel is not close to any attractions. However, it does have a bus stop outside with frequent bus services to the centre. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Something Fresh and Different"
There are a number of new Airport Hotels around Warsaw Chopin that are bright, comfortable and very modern. Sound Garden is the latest and offers something a little different. Compact but very comfortable and modern rooms. The design recognises that for most guests all items of furniture other than the bed and a desk are redundant, so a lrage plasma […] screen is located at the foot of the bed and a clever desk pod incorporates table, power points, USB and HDMI sockets - which also connect to the plasma screen. The restaurant has a very Scandanavian feel, the menu varies during the day and the food offers good value for money. It's clear that the hotel is geared towards conferences and seminars, but I like the uncluttered, straight forward approach and atmosphere. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"No airport shuttle and no cleaning"
11/21/14 Weary235 London, United Kingdom
Firstly, this airport hotel has no airport shuttle. I needed to get a taxi to the hotel. The journey cost me 30 zl - more than it probably should have done. Check in was as described in other reviews - self service. I had to check in at a kiosk called Ludwig but there was a trainee to talk me through each screen. This seemed fairly pointless - he might as well have checked me in himself but he explained that the kiosks work much better when there are lots of customers and it will be more efficient for customers' repeat visits. I don't think I'll be testing that theory! The room is also as described - very small. If I put my arms out, I can touch opposite walls. It's like being in a ferry cabin - albeit a nice one. The room is basic and made to look bigger by the clever use of glass and mirrors. The desk pivots over the bed and there is no chair. To use the desk you need to sit on the bed. The bed is very comfy to sleep in but not to work on. After 10 minutes working at my laptop, my back was killing me. On the second day, I found a rubbish bin and electrical sockets on the back of the desk. They are well hidden. There is no mini bar, no safe, no telephone, no pen or paper, no iron, no tea/coffee making facilities - the room has a bed, a pivoting desk, a tv, a sink, a toilet and a shower. That's it. I really missed having a chair. I never thought of a chair as a luxury item before! The bathroom is very small. The mirror is quite useless as it is so far away that you cannot see to apply makup or put in contact lenses. It's only function is to make a small room look bigger. The shower was very good. There is a hairdryer. There is a soap dispenser by the sink and in the shower. I think other toiletries can be purchased at reception if needed. The wifi code was stored in a TV menu in the room. It would have been more helpful if it had been printed on the kiosk's instructions. The wifi worked well on my two devices. The bed was very comfortable and I slept very well. I wasn't disturbed by any noise. Breakfast was good with a decent choice of options available on the first two days. There was a chef preparing the eggs (scrambled or fried) so you knew they were fresh. On the third day there were fewer options and no fresh fruit, which was a shame. I ate dinner at the hotel one night. The starter was great, the main course wasn't so tasty, which was disappointing. There was no atmosphere at all. It was like eating in Ikea - no surprise there. The room was clean when I checked into it on my first evening. When I returned to my room on the second evening, the bed had been made (well, the duvet was straightened) and the towels had been folded. The room had not been cleaned at all. My trainers had left mud on the floor which was still there and the bathroom had not been cleaned. The note at check in says "As we care for the environment, we offer a full room cleaning every third day of your stay or upon your request. Every day we will check if you miss anything in the room". I'm sorry? You cannot sweep the floor because it might harm the environment? That's rubbish. I think your reason for not cleaning the rooms is because this is a cost that you think you can save. Surely I should not have to request that the floor is cleaned if it is obviously dirty? I think that is taking the self-service concept too far. On my third evening, the floor was still dirty and the bathroom bin had not been emptied. I was not impressed. My room was on the "pop" floor. This means that pop music played on speakers as you exit the lift. The pop playlist during my visit consisted of Madonna's Like a Virgin, Michael Jackson's Beat It and another couple of songs, edited down to about 2 minutes each (no guitar solos) and played on a 10 minute loop. The playlist wasn't changed during my three day visit so I heard the same songs a lot. The music on the hotel TV consists of five 10 minute playlists on a loop. (Your choice of jazz, pop, rock, nature or silence). Honestly, if you're going to make a feature of music in a hotel, surely a longer playlist and one changed on a daily basis would be better? (Tip to the hotel: check the version of "The Passenger" on your rock playlist. Did somebody put a karaoke track on there for fun?) I chose this hotel because my first choice was fully booked and the concept looked interesting. I don't think I would stay here again. For the money, I expect an airport hotel to have an airport shuttle and my room to be cleaned daily. I don't need fresh sheets and towels every day but there is no reasonable excuse for not sweeping the floor.
"best hotel I've ever been"

I absolutely fell in love with this hotel! Everything was on high level - room, breakfast, staff.. I cannot found any disadventage. The biggest surprise were muted walls and huge silence in our place. We spent perfect weekend. Thank you:)

A very small hospital-type room with a plastic not removable table by the bedside. No space for computer work, no even space to have a cup of tea. bed located "in a window" No even a chair (could be even the cheapest one - plastic, if this is the line of the hotel) to sit in a normal position. Toilet very small, a window beetween a room and the toilet is next mistake (Think about this if you travel with someone, a partner or with your child? How would you feel? - no privacy). I have bought a cup of coffe by the reception. The taste of this drink was very bad - I don't recomend it. Breakfast - cold pancakes, the rest - acceptable. I have made the reservation by the hotel webside adn because of a difficult family situation I tried to cancell it ( a week before!). Without understanding from the hotel authorities. Definitely I don't recomend this hotel. Price is much to high for the quality. Agnieszka

Comfortable and ergonomic rooms, self-service based on IT technology. The hotel is superinteligent and supersmart - while self-check-in my mind was scanned and the floor was assigned according to my favourite music preferences :) The only minus is paid parking - operated by third-party company.

This is a big modern hotel within 5-10 minutes of the Warsaw Chopin airport. Rooms have Wi-Fi, are clean and modern. There are no phones in the rooms, the bathroom wall and door seems to be made of colored glass so noise travels easily. This is a hotel for trade shows and conferences. Staff is very nice but the hotel concept is based on self-service and there is minimum number of people/staff around. Room cleaning is not optimal. It seemed that they just make the bed and leave clean towels. Maybe on the 3rd day they actually wiped the toilet and the sink in the bathroom. The liveliest time in the huge lobby is breakfast time and it serves a good buffet breakfast. If you are in Warsaw to do sightseeing this location is not good for that.
"Just one day"
10/31/14 Dana P
I was on bussines tripand the hotel was chosen by the production house. It is clean, modern, but i asked to move out after one day. For my taste this is kind of strange place, to much design, not mutch space. No chance to open the window, very small room i felt more like robot ,than a human there. Also i did not like the restaurant self service and breakfast ( one of the most important things for me) was basic, nothing special. Maybe i am just old fashioned, but i did not like the place at all.
"Perfect hotel close to aiport"
10/05/14 Nevzat O Munich, Bayern, Germany
When you look at the price, the hotel offers perfect facilities by being close to airport. The rooms are small, but clean and enough for one person. If you are having business trip, this hotel is perfectly fine.
"Functional & modern"
10/03/14 Nikki M Copenhagen, Denmark
Modern, clean and functional hotel close to the airport. The rooms are small and with nothing but the necessities (no minibar, no desk, no chair, no telephone, no cosmetics apart from soap), yet clean and comfortable - so I would recommend this place if you do not plan to spend too much time at the hotel but mainly need a place to sleep. The hotel profile is fast and effective for busy travellers with fast check in and no formal check out. The service is great in Eastern European terms (sorry for sounding biased now, but still, do not expect American smiles all the time), and the food in the restaurant is maybe not excellent, but still perfectly alright. Additional plus sign for the vegetarian courses on the menu. What I miss is a gym - how can you not have a gym at such a modern hotel trying to attract business travellers? Also, it was impossible to find a clock in the room (wanted to double check what time it was and could not find any clock in the tv menu). With these two details fixed Sound Garden would score a five (still thinking Eastern European context).
"cheap hotel and cheap service"

Located in the business district close to my meeting location. What an interesting experience: self check in, no pen & paper in the rooms, the room is a box which just fit your bed, no minibar, no telephone, no wake up call facilities, no room service, no desk and chair. A hotel in the business district but little facilities to work in your room. The trigger word is "no". You need to prepay your room via the self check in desk: good strategy because if you would have seen your room before paying you would immediatly escape to the Novotel airport across the road. You can't bill anything on your hotel account: at the cafetaria/cantine, at the bar, at the self service corner ...you have to pay at once. And you have to purchase things because no drinks & no food available in the room. Each time another credit card print and another expense note. The self service cafetaria/cantine (don't call it a restaurant) is located in the hugh lobby and the menu is only in polish.I tried to get some fresh fruit: not possible : only cakes, cookies, chocolate.... Two nights to stay. I'm counting down.
"Self Service with No Service"
09/14/14 James L NJ, United States
I am an American traveling on business, which I do a lot. I chose this place because the reviews seemed positive and because it was within walking distance to my client. I made a mistake. I was there only two nights, but boy was it not what I expected. First, I booked my room through AMX which was supposed to be a queen bed, desktop, and iron with ironing board. Nope. The bed was queen, but their desktop is more like a swiveling laptop stand next to the bed. I inquired about the iron and was informed they have none. Instead they have a self-service ironing room somewhere on the first floor. Being on the Nature level, I did not really want to carry my clothes down to iron on another floor, especially since their hangers are non-removable and I would have to drape my shirts and pants just to get them back. Second, upon check-in I was prompted by the clerk to use their self-service kiosk. Of course she had to guide me step-by-step. I wondered why they thought this would be a time saver for them, since she clearly was with me the entire time. The real negative was that the kiosk would not accept my non-Chip and Pin credit card. So, the clerk had to cancel all the work we did on the kiosk and check me in manually at the reception desk. Seeing as how I just traveled almost 24 hours, with connecting flights and time zone changes, I did not appreciate the long wait to get to my room. Third, I couldn't work on the table. It barely fit my 13" Macbook, since a significant portion of the top has a tray and switches for the lights and curtain. Even if I could, I would have had to have sat on the bed, since the only chair in the room was at ground level. It looked like some teenagers video game chair! There was no way to sit in it and reach the laptop table. Thankfully I was able to secure a meeting room at my clients site, so that I could get more work done. Fourth, breakfast was included and some of it was really good.I enjoyed the eggs and brats. However, the coffee machine was broken. No coffee. The thing is the staff did not seem to care. Of course having no coffee in the morning made the start of my day a drag. Fifth, the bathroom is see-through. That really is not a big deal since I was alone, but I had to be mindful to close the curtains, since my room faced what looked to be a park full of people. Sixth, no room service. None. Seeing that there was no phone should have clued me in. I suppose since there was no desk, they didn't expect business travelers would want to eat in their rooms. In summary, the place is only good if you need somewhere to sleep, as that it is all it is good for. If you have company, you cannot even use the toilet in privacy. In the end I sucked it up, for the sake of my business trip. Next time though, I will stick with the Novotel across the street. I've stayed in one before in Spain and was quite happy.
