This hotel was far from everything, nobody spoke English and hotel staff was rude.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"The worst hotel I've ever stay in Asia."
20 years ago, I travel Beijing, Shanghai and Suzhou. I had bad experience there however this hotel was worse than them. First of all, NO WOTER. I checked in almost 2200. I was totally tired. At 1200, I decided to go to bed. when I began to blush my teethe, I realized the water stopped. Of course I called to the front desk, but the girl who was in charge […] just repeated "I'm sorry." I asked her to use bottled water (not free) but she could not understand what I mean. After 30 minutes she offered me to move the next building. She said it means upgrade. It's almost 0100 and I was exhausted. She said the water would come back in 30 minutes. So I told her that I'd like to stay there because I was tired. But she said she does not know what time the water come back this time. She told a lie. I had to agree to move across the road in the midnight. Next day, there did not clean my room. When I checked out, no apology. No offer anything during my stay (breakfast or ride). I demanded to them a discount but they said Expedia has to agree it and I have to demand to Expedia. I WILL NEVER USE EXPEDIA for Hotel reservation! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
One of the worst hotels I ever stayed in. When I arrived they wanted B300 deposit for the key. Little did I know it was not for the key it was for the mini bar that wasn't there. They said when I was leaving that I had consumed B280 of their non existing mini bar. What a bunch of thieves. I would not recommend that place to my worst enemy.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

6泊しましたが、ホテルの横の洗濯機の使用料は20バーツで安い。また、向の食堂はチャーハンが30バーツなので1日に2ど食べにいくほどでした。Genuine Expedia guest review

"Good and cheap"

I would give it a 3, but at 470 baht it comes closer to 4. Rooms r big, clean and comfortable. Malls and the good vejthani hospital are just next door. Airport is not far, but central bangkok is. Plenty of cheap food, malls, ... around.
"Excellent, luxury and comfortable"

At walking distance from PatPong, the night bazaar of Bangkog, Mandarin Hotel is very comfortable and luxury. Has a nice swimmingpool and a gymn. The most impressiv thing we noticed was the huge selection of choices during the breakfast: absolutely amazing. They can offer you well beyond your desires and wishes. From Asian food to American breakfast with eggs prepared in different ways, pancakes and whatever you may miss from usua breakfasts in your country, including warm croissants and fresh fruit, as well as youghurt, cereals, dried fruit and all things you may dream about when thinking about the perfect breakfast. Personnel is nice and kind: they allowed us to keep the luggage in the lock room for the whole day and to have a shower before leaving (late in the evening) in the gymn facilities even after the check out from our room, as we had our flight late at night and needed to have a shower after a whole day of walking at Chattuchat market (can you imagine how much we could need a shower??). The price is really below the offer the hotel has and we can really recommend it for a short-middle term stay in Bangkok.
"Value for money stay"

I have a pleasant stay here. 7-11 just next door, from my room I can access the free and slow ICT wifi by True Move, or I can purchase a 1 Baht sim card (no need to top up) then access the free True Wifi(limit to 90 minutes per day) (very fast!) There is a paid drinking water machine downstair, 1 baht for 1 litre of RO water, so cheap. There is a motor taxi stand in front of the hotel, there are always motor taxi standing by there. There are plenty of taxi go past the hotel, you can flag down any of them. My family and I always flag down taxi in front of the hotel to go to the nearby The Mall Bangkapi including the water park Fantasia Lagoon which we enjoyed very much or to downtown Bangkok.
"Not bad for the price"

Stayed here for 3 nights at the start of December, it's in quite a residential area, there aren't many tourists about but the hotel itself was what we were looking for. The room was spacious and the air conditioning was good but you could only get wifi for one device each day so don't be fooled when it says 'free wifi'. It's not in the most ideal of places but the taxis are so cheap around Bangkok that it didn't matter too much. Overall, we were satisfied with the hotel considering we only paid something like £4-5 a night so would recommend it to anyone on a budget.
