The Grand is a beautiful hotel located outside of the city center in Luang Prabang. The grounds are gorgeous and the hotel overlooks the river. Staff was very friendly and eager to please. Wifi connection was almost nonexistent so don't rely on it, but there are two desktops available for free in the main lobby. Overall, the stay here was great but the hotel is quite far from the center of Luang Prabang and the tourist area so if you want to be in the middle of the action, this place isn't for you. However, the place is quite beautiful and tranquil and the free shuttle to town (they give you a schedule when you check in) almost makes up for the distance.

I loved this hotel. It was small and quaint. I would defintely stay here again even after seeing other hotels around town. Be prepared that the toilet and shower have glass doors so they are visible when using and exposed to the room.

스탠다드에 이틀숙박으로 세명예약했는데 방이준비가안되있어서트리플룸을 줬어요 근데 방이준비가안되서 이 방을줬다는 설명도 안해놓고선 내일이되자 갑자기방을바꿔야한다고 하더군요 여기까진그래도괜찮았는데 바꾼방이 트리플룸과비교해서 너무 후지고 더러웠구요 청소도급하게대충한티가 났어요(extra bed도 이런식으로넣어주는곳처음봤네요 접이식 구조 위에 시트깔아놓음 불편함) 자기들도 미안했는지 공항까지 무료로픽업서비스해줘서 공항까지갔는데 체크아웃할때여권을안줬더라구요 저도잊어먹은잘못도있지만 카운터에서 먼저 줘야하는거아닌가요 호텔에 전화했더니 저희보고 여권을 다시 가지러오라는거에요;;공항까지 차로 이십분거리인데;; 너무화가나서 당신실수니까 당장 […] 공항으로 가지고오라고했더니 미안하다는소리도안하고 억지로 갔다주겠다는식으로 얘기하더군요 겉으로는 친절한데 실속은 없는 서비스에다 가격만비싸구요 예쁜 건물외관에다 정원도있고 조식괜찮고 시내까지무료뚝뚝서비스등 장점이많은데 정작 객실준비와운영에는 엉망인호텔이네요 돈을더내고 트리플룸에묵을게아니라면 비추입니다 Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
