Ramada Deira - Dubai

Modern hotel, nice staff, and clean rooms. Good for the price. Close to a subway stop for easy access from and to airport. Allowed me a late checkout (2pm). Could only book a smoking room online, but let me change to non-smoking when I checked-in. Food choices limited in the area.

In general it was a good stay, i had a problem on check in, the receptionist told that if i wait for 30 mins so they will give me a good, large room with a view to the main street (Salah Uddain) , 30 mins passes, but no reply then an hour, after 1 hour & 30 mins, and I'm checking with them every 10 mins, He told i'm sorry there is nothing i can do, […] i will give a late check out up to 3pm, but what i will do with late check out, i need to rest since i was driving for 9 hrs. The room walls was wallpapers not paint and on some edges it wasnt sticky well so the kids would try to remove. There is nothing bad to report with the hotel. The location with a Mall across the street and a near by grocery, makes this an ideal location for a traveler.

Hotel is new with clean and nice rooms. However, staff need more training as they are slow during check-in/out and look confused very often. Also they need to smile more especially the hotel manager who pretended not to hear us when we were enquiring about late check out.

Upon arrival, the hotel helped carry in all the luggage into the hotel and up to the rooms. Room was very comfortable, clean and free complimentary wifi given upon arrival. I really enjoyed my two (2) days at the Ramada. Unfortunately, my flight was delayed but the hotel staff was accommodating to the situation. The hotel location is convenient for shopping, short taxi ride to the airport, and metro is nearby.

Modern clean hotel in ideal location Free wifi in room was great help. Breakfast was good but could be little more improved everything else is perfect. Unfortunately i never had a chance due to my busy schedule to use swimming pool, sauna steam room and the gym facilities. Staff were friendly and helpfull.

Pegasus airline flight got us into the airport just after 4 a.m. via Istanbul. Long queues at passport control meant we could take the first metro to Salah Al Din station. Taking the exit just by the side of the metro ticket hall convenience store brings you out on the same side of the street as the Hotel (double back along the pavement - 2 mins). Reception […] staff said that they could have a room ready by 9, but they actually had it ready for 8.15. Superb room with King size free wi-fi and breakfast included. In fact they were able to arrange a swop of breakfast with the last day as the departure was scheduled for 0200 (no breakfast on that day, of course). Theresa on reception was extremely supportive and knowledgeable. Breakfast had a wide selection of western and arabic hot/cold dishes, a selection of fruit, sweets, juices, yoghurts and a great coffee machine. Restaurant staff were particularly helpful too. The hotel is clean and very well maintained. Roof top pool is small with a few sun loungers. The gym did not have a cross trainer but other alternatives were available. The steam room gents not functioning this week (Feb 23, 2013). The travel desk was very helpful as well. Taxi's pull up at the lay by just in front of the hotel 24/7. A taxi downtown is about 25AED and to the airport T1 was 16AED (plus tip). many Arabic food outlets, Reef mall and gift shops, medical centre, pharmacies all within 3 minutes walk. 25 min walk to gold/ spice souks, Deira creek. Good and clean hotel with big spacy rooms and comfortable beds. The staff was very polite snd service minded. The food offered there was How ever not very good, but i guess the short time since the opening has a say. Over all its a good value for the money and i will return.

The location is quite convenient, however, the service is rather poor. It has been told that the hotel is quite new but it looks rather old fashion and used. We booked a non-smoking room but we were checked-in in a smoking room. the front desk manager told us that the hotel is fully booked and no non-smoking room available.
