"Great place in great location"
Staff were very helpful. Hostel is quiet, clean, and homey. I enjoyed it very much and would definitely stay there again!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
After staying here for 5 days we have mixed feelings about this hostel. On the plus side: the location is fantastic, close to everything; the staff is very pleasant and friendly; the front desk is open 24 hours; there is some breakfast; free WiFi; TV in the common room has English channels; toilets are clean and well maintained; the common room is big […] and has some books and maps; the atmosphere is nice and relaxed; generally speaking we had a great time in Lisbon, not least because this hostel was so conveniently located and because we had our own private room here. On the negative side: the weirdest thing is that the kitchen has no kitchen sink or faucet (!), so washing dishes or getting water requires going to the bathroom. They dedicated one of the 3 bathroom for dish-washing, so that the bathroom sink there is used for dishes and the toilet itself is closed, thankfully. The other 2 bathrooms are used for their direct purpose. The shower rooms were OK for a hostel but not the greatest or the cleanest, 1 of them was clogged regularly, although the other was OK. The breakfast was also merely OK: cheap bread, butter, peanut butter, 2 kinds of jam, apples, bananas, some cheap muffins, tea & coffee, milk. It's free and would definitely keep one from starving, but nothing fancy. The WiFi is free and usually adequate but stops working on occasion and/or doesn't reach the farthest rooms. Overall: this hostel is so-so, and I'm sorry to say that we won't stay there again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
I stayed in a double room with shared bathroom for two nights. The hostel is on the fourth floor with lift. It is centrally located to tourist spots, metro stations and the River Tagus. Room was comfortable and clean, staff were friendly and approachable. I had no problems with the wi-fi. Breakfast was basic but sufficient for me.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Un formidable accueil. L'hôtel est à deux pas des quartiers les plus sympas de Lisbonne et du Tage. Rapport qualité/prix (12 euros/nuit) plus que convenable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Great location. Good rooms. Excellent hospitality. Located at the very heart of Lisbon, downtown is just a few floors from your room. The rooms are very clean and the common room is comfy and warm enough for a good afternoon talk before dinner at one of the local restaurants (there's is all sort of offers nearby). Everything went so well. Vistas de Lisboa sure helped make my visit look a lot shorter!

Staid in the hostel for 3 nights in the middle of July. I mentioned them about my late arrival so they arranged me transport from Airport to Hostel, and the manager personaly came pick me up, thank you Krunal. The atmosphere of the hostel was full of fun, since morning until nigth. I didnt had prepared the trip, so one of the receptionist help me organize the visit in Lisbon. One of the guys also did give us a walking tour experience which we loved the experience. The location was superb, me and my wife found many restaurantes near by, some of them recomended by tripadvisor. Overall i would definitly recommend this Hostel and I personally will return back to this place.

We loved our stay in Vistas de Lisboa! Great place to stay for every kind of company, even with a group of 11 girls. The location is excellent to get everywhere you want. We've met some great people and seen great places. I would recommend it to anyone who's in for a great experience !
"Pleasant and cheap centrally located hostel"

I took the bus from the airport to the large nearby square. After asking several folks I found the one-way side street in the old city where the hostel is located. It is easy to walk past it.I stayed 5 nights and still kept missing the door. Most times you need to push the button and they will let you in.(Good security). . You need to take the elevator up four floors and find the sign-in desk. One internet terminal and free wi-fi are available. Plenty of trip literature and staff can answer questions, book taxis, etc. Efficient and helpful English speaking staff will take you to your room and show you the bathrooms, showers ,lockers, kitchen, etc. The kitchen-sitting area with a TV is quite small, like an average home. Except for breakfast there never seemed to be more than 2 or 3 travelers there. I was in an 8 bed dorm with windows over the quiet street..Breakfast was sufficient; breads, dry cereal , cheese and ham slices, jam, spreads, hot tea, coffee, milk and fruit..Almost always the same. You could use the kitchen for heating up food anytime. The hostel was well located, easy walking to shopping, restaurants and the river. Metro a few blocks. Overall quiet, low key and efficient. Sleep, use the clean bathrooms and do your thing about the city during the day Certainly not a big party place.

"A great place when I needed it"

I showed up in Lisboa and my original hostal wouldn't let me pass as it was after 11:30. Lady ended up yelling at me from the window to stop touching the call button on the outside. So I walked the city for over an hour and found this place. As of writing this review they are open 24/7. When I showed up someone let me in. He found an open bed inside one of the male dormatories. He then quietly made the bed for me, in the dark. The price was great (less than posted google price for me) for that night. The sheets were warm and clean. Bed was large enough for a tall guy like me, a little over 2m tall. The location is sweet. Right in the middle of it all. The bathrooms are normal for a hostal (bring flip flops of course). They have breakfast in the morning with a resonable spread for a hostal. Over all, I am more than pleased and can highly recomend this place. Enjoy.
"Nice hostel in the center"

It's perfect for short stay because of location right in the center. 5 min walk to the Rossio, Baixa-Chiado and Restauradores metro stations and Rossion railway station. Although almost all rooms were occupied, it was very quiet at night. Honestly saying, I didn't expect this, so I was positively surprised. Breakfast is very basic, but I liked possibility to make hot cheese sandwich. Stuff is very polite, nice and helpful. I would definitely stay one more time in this hostel.
"Central and nice, but with very rudimentary showers"
03/16/13 Alex_J0nes Dublin, Ireland
The location is extremely central and it was as such good value. My friend and I stayed 1 night and for 9€ each, we had a bed and a breakfast. The staff was not the friendliest but we've seen worse. The beds were ok, The only thing I really did not like and which are the reason for which I will not go back to this hostel are the showers and toilets. They were very rudimentary and of doubtful cleanliness. I am used to basic facilities, I go camping a lot, but in this hostel, I did not have a shower that night because the shower just did not look neat at all.
"No Wi-fi and TV!"
03/14/13 Pollonedj Stockholm, Sweden
In the hostel there is NOT a WI-FI connection working. The TV was not working too. The breakfast was very poor, cheap and bad quality! We had to have breakfast somewhere else. The location of the hostel, on the other hand, is very convenient, since it is very close to the city center and metro.
"A GEM of a place"
09/04/12 CrazyCanuck2011 Toronto, Canada
I stayed at this wonderful place for six days at the end of August 2012. In addition to free breakfast and free Wi-Fi they also do your laundry for FREE - within 24 hours! It is very close to two metro/subway/tube stations (Baixa-Chiado my favourite because of elevators and escalators), to the action in Alfama, as well as museums and galeries. Yet, it is also VERY peaceful. There are two large grocery stores close by as well as internet cafes and places to buy a Portugese SIM card for your cell/mobile phone (I used OZO). There is lounge /pantry arae with Wi-Fi, fruit and breadrolls etc for free, a fridge to store your own stuff, a microwave oven and a cappacino maker wih complimentary coffee, milk and sugar. They have single rooms, double rooms and hostel rooms
