The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the service is awesome. I would have given it a perfect 5 except the water pressure in the shower was very poor. The room our friend was in had the same problem. Also....there is a noise...a boiler maybe? that if you stay on the back side of hotel it wakes you up and runs from 6 am to 10 am and is quite loud. We read about this in the reviews in room 2 and we also had it in our room. The service was awesome and the bed and room were very comfortable. The bar is open at night and the deskclerks are great about getting you anything you would like to drink from the bar. The rooms are VERY clean!!!

I had previously stayed at The Mount but didn't remember the rooms being so snug. There is a chair in the room along with a desk and desk chair, I believe one of those chairs could be eliminated. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. I had a meal in the restaurant, the steak was a little overdone for my liking but I was hungry and did not send it back. All-in-all a nice property with some history.

The hotel, bar & food quality is excellent. Set in a rural area with easy acess to motorway. Would reccomend this hotel if in the area. Our stay was only 1 night as we were travelling. Excellent value.

Upon arrival I couldn't get into the B&B I had to wait for another guest to turn up to gain access. There was no one working in the hotel and therefore I had no idea where anything was. This was just the start of what turned out to be a very disappointing stay at Furnace House.
