"Pretty Good Hotel"
This hotel definitely feels new with the interior design as well as the cleanliness/equipment of the facility. However, it does lack the aura of a top class hotel that you can feel at Borgata or other 5-star Vegas hotels.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Beautiful hotel, A shame it closed down . . Dinner @ Asellina was amazing, The HQ Beach club is always a great time. . Even the regular pool at the hotel is very nice . Hopefully it reopens but keeps things the same.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Wanted to go for the last time before it closed. Was semi- happy with my stay. Took over an hour just to check in.. Line was ridiculous. Also the check in time is an hour later than most hotels and check out time is an hour earlier. You would think with the money you pay you could just get an hour extra. When we called about staying the extra hour.. […] The guest rep told us it would be half of the days rates $75..+. They really are trying to get every last penny before they close. So long Revel! "Comfort And Design Details"
The attention to high end design detail at the Revel did not disappoint. We found ourselves saying did you see that tile work? Those doors? The contemporary look was refreshing - not only visually appealing, but clean and comfortable and practicle. The staff was courteous and friendly. We ate in two venues: the steak restaurant and the food truck. We […] loved both. The convenient location to the ocean and the boardwalk provided us with impromptu options. We enjoyed the indoor/outdoor pool daily but found it to be too crowded and wished there was another large pool option for adults. While I would have had a different entrance than the Revel 3 floor open escalators, it would not deter us from returning should the Revel have a buyer and open again. The Revel could be reinvented as the luxury beach hotel for today's hipster families that the Jersey shore needs. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The stay at the revel was wonderful. Really enjoy the view from my room, Breath Taking.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I booked this hotel a month ago. $500 something per night. I was so exciting to stay at this hotel even is expensive, cuz the hotel looks great for everything. When I arrived at hotel to check-in. OMG there was bunch of ppl r waiting for check-in but the counter only has 2 ppl r helping. When my turn, the services is really really suck. Never pay attention […] on what I said. So I have to repeat again and again. And the attitude is bad too. Hotel looks new but dirty. Than I just knew the hotel is about to close in two weeks. The room is suck too. Pillow and towel is so freaking dirty. The light turn off and turn on suddenly, just like sleeping with GHOST. Sound scare but it is true. At night there was so loud, ppl talking so loud and fighting. And mini bar doesn't have anything not even a bottle of water, Wonder $500 per night is worth it? No wonder why they r about to close. "Sad to see it go... hope it'll reopen"
As an overdue honeymoon, early babymoon my husband and I went to Revel for a 4 day weekend. We were on the 47th floor and I've never stayed in a more beautiful room with a more spectacular view. It was GORGEOUS. Knowing that the hotel would be closing in under two weeks, we anticipated some service let downs... some of the people were just not happy […] to be there... but who can really blame them. The hotel itself was lovely and hopefully when they reopen they will hire people revived and excited to work at such a magnificent place. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Shame It is Closing"
First off, the hotel is beautiful. Our room was perfect for what we wanted. We were looking for a quick one night getaway without kids and more of a chill resort atmosphere and less of a hustling casino atmosphere. It was perfect for that. You walk in and instead of staring at the casino you come into a very grand lobby. In fact, very easy to avoid […] the casino altogether (probably a big reason why they are closing). Pool was great. The downsides.... It is on the board walk but the VERY far end. And the restaurants and entertainment... Just not there. We went to the Borgata for dinner and a show and came back which was perfect because we got the resort experience we wanted in Atlantic City with some of the night life elsewhere. Great hotel,. not a great casino. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"fantastic experience at Revel"
I took my sister and niece (from TX) on a beach trip up the Atlantic coast, staying in OceanCity MD, Rehoboth DE, and AC NJ. We paid 2x as much per night for the other two hotels as for Revel, but Revel was by far the best experience in almost every respect. The 47th floor view was amazing, the access to the beach easy, the sand on the beach was wonderful, […] the boardwalk was enchanting, the "Steel Pier" amusement park was the best of the three, and they had a spa---something my sister was looking for. All around, a fantastic experience. I hope they find a way to open up again next year. We decided to stay an extra day there, and the management made it happen. Very nice hotel and rooms. Way to big as far as walking to Casino and escalators etc. Especially for older people. I have very bad Sciatica and could hardly get to the Casino floor. Needs more variety of foods beside Italian. Would be nice to have a micro-wave in the rooms. Rates were way to high compared to the other Hotels-Casinos. My biggest complaint […] was; A piece of my cosmetic luggage was lost between the time we checked in and when the Bell Clerk brought it to our room. A matter of maybe 15 minutes, 20 minutes. We reported it immediately to the Bell Desk and was told they would look into it. They said they didn't see it. Sunday and Monday my husband called many, many times to see if they located it. Answer NO. Went to security and put in report and claim. With a heavy heart and needless to say I was very upset. Didn't play much on Casino floor because of it. Just spent a lot of time in room. Well, upon checking out our Bell Clerk who was more than very pleasant and very helpful, taking our luggage down stairs asked how we enjoyed our stay. We explained to him what happened. He said the piece of luggage I was missing had been in a cubby from Sunday after we checked in at the Bell Desk. How dumb can these people be that they didn't look in the luggage holding area. That incident spoiled my whole stay at Revel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel is beautiful and huge. There is a lot of walking to and from wherever you wanted to go-- from garage or casino elevator bank to lobby, to boardwalk or beach from lobby level. Food is also very expensive at the hotel. I doubt we would go there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location and excellent views of the beach"
The Revel is amazing, too bad it's closing, I would go back at least once or twice a year, so really hoping someone buys it and does a better job with running it. The hotel and casino are beautiful and we loved the restaurants, especially the Amada, great food and stunning view. The service was pretty bad though, I'm sure this had something to do with […] the impending job losses but I was not happy with the service. Check in took over an hour and the clerk was impolite and unhelpful. I had requested a late check out and was willing to pay more but was told no on two seperate occasions, even though I had heard from another guest that they had extended this option to her. That was a bit disappointing but lucky I didn't have to interact with the hotel staff too much. The rest of the stay was perfect. The resort is right on the boardwalk, can't get better than that! Everything was clean and just a great atmosphere. I nice place for a romantic getaway! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice place to stay"
I like the restaurants, the room and the view. It is a bit inconvenient to go from your room to the boardwalk. You have to go through three flights of long escalators. Also, if it is your first time to come to this hotel, you really don't know where to check in. You can drive up to the front but if you unload your car there, you can't park there. And […] you have to go up on three flights of escalators to get to the check-in counter, unless someone told you that you can drive to the 11th floor in the garage. This information should be given in the check-in instruction. Plus, it is under staffed for check in and check out. There are always long lines. I tried to check out on TV, but it did not work. The pool is also too small for the hotel of that size. But the room is really nice! I would probably go stay there again. I just hope that the casinos will not be soaked with smell of smoke as many other older hotels' are. The division of smoking and non-smoking areas is useless because the smoke can flow over easily. "Expensive but Very Beautiful Hotel"
A little pricey, but a wonderful, clean hotel with very comfortable rooms and great amenities. The hotel rooms themselves are pretty far from things - we spent a lot of time on those escalators and elevators. The fire pit area next to the Check In desk is really neat.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

What a Beautiful Place and to top it off the 2014 Atlantic City Air Show !!!. The Staff knows the place is closing and some still care about this 2.4 BILLION dollar FLOP. "Awesome - must stay here before it closes"
Revel is an awesome venue. From the decor, to the structure, to the rooms, to the customer service, everything is astonishing. It's has a very modern, chic feel and look to it. The room and bathroom are spacious, replete with very cozy and comfortable bedding, a walk-in spa-like shower, and an excellent view of the Atlantic Ocean (pending which side […] of the hotel your room is on). It has the fastest elevator as we went from the 47th floor to the 11th floor (which is where the lobby is) in a matter of seconds and didn't feel a thing outside of our ears popping! There are at least 7 restaurants located in the hotel and there are many activities it has to offer such as the sunrise/sunset yoga, clubs, burlesque performances on the weekends and lessons on Sundays and so much more. The only down-side is that the area for the pool wasn't big enough but there is always the beach. It is right on the boardwalk so you are close to the beach, as well as the outlet stores which are on the other end of the boardwalk. It is by far the best hotel resort I have ever stayed and am very disappointed it is closing its doors in September 2014. Revel is definitely ahead of its time, and I hope one day they are able to open its doors again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Hotel, Sad to see it Close"
Stayed at the Revel this week and it's a beautiful hotel. The rooms were the best I've ever stayed in and loved the bathrooms. It's small touches like the lighting and being able to control the room temp from your remote control that make it extra special. Sad to hear it's closing by September 10, 2014. Hopefully someone will buy it as it's one of , […] if not the best Hotel in Atlantic City. The only downfall is the surround area/neighborhood is a dump. The local city government really needs to fix this if they don't want even more casinos to close. The boardwalk is ok, but I would dare walk the streets at night. "Nice stay in a gigantic hotel in Atlantic City"
The hotel is overall well maintained. However some areas are a bit dirty due to the crowd staying at the hotel (swimming pool surroundings for instance). We appreciated the terraces of the hotel and the sea view from our room. VERY NICE HOTEL. VERY MODERN AND HIP. ROOMS WERE NICE BUT LOUD. COULD HEAR EVERYTHING IN THE HALLWAYS. EASY TO PARK. FRIENDLY STAFF. SMOKE FREE SECTION IN THE CASINO WHICH IS REALLY NICE. "Our stay 8/14"
The hotel was nice and the room was very nice, especially the bed-- extremely comfortable. We were really disappointed because we came for a romantic getaway and we found families with little kids everywhere. Based on Revel's reputation, one would assume that it was a sexy modern hotel. It felt like a family resort. We left our kids to get away and […] it didn't feel romantic. Also the layout was inconvenient. When we needed drinks or coffee, we couldnt find any and were told to go to a different floor. Overall we had to walk all over to find things. We would not come agsin unless things changed. We did hear that the hotel is bankrupt and wad bought out by Wynn. Maybe that's why it felt subpar. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Dissapointed and humiliated"
I stayed at the Revel for me and my best friends birthday for one night and we all were fairly dissapointed. The place is huge with very little to offer. The food celection was very few. It seems like almost all the employees working there have no idea of their jobs. The only place we liked was the outdoor pool. And the worst was the HQ club. The bouncer […] looked at my passport and told me it doesn't belong to me. He made that face like this asian girl thinks she can fool me. They are racist and have very poor judgment, it was terrible. I was humiliated in front of everyone that was on line and on the casino floor. It was supposed to be an amazing birthday celebration but it turned out be a nightmare. "A wonderful Hotel, I would come back again"
My wife and I did a little mini-vacation getaway. We loved the Revel. It's big, but everything is laid out well to get around. It was a bit expensive, but you get what you pay for and our view was wonderful, overlooking the ocean and the inlet to the bay. It is laid out VERY well for family fun as it's on the beach, has a great pool, and the Hotel/Resort […] is separate from the Casino. I would gladly bring the family here. I understand that they are in financial trouble and may be closing. This is very sad and I hope that they find someone to invest or take them over as I would enjoy bringing the whole family back at a later time. Pros: on the beach, hotel & casino separated, laid out well for such a large hotel, beautiful view of the beach, excellent staff, indoor/outdoor pool, beautiful rooftop garden and walking area, inexpensive parking, and comfortable/spacious rooms. CONS: Cost, indoor-outdoor pool is more laid out for adults with drinking allowed at poolside which is GREAT for adults, but iffy for the kiddies, and hotel is so large that it can be confusing.
