good location for skiers,it is not a hotel but apartments for skiers.Everything is self service.If you are going only for skiing in Meribel location is ideal.

A very cozy and comfortable hotel. For a mountain location, it has fairly good size rooms, although still small by a typical American standard. The hotel features a very nice downstairs bar/ lounge area with plenty of couches covered in lambskins, a fireplace, and a good speed wi-fi internet. Very well maintained and clean. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to spend a quality time in the Alps.

CGH Les Granges du Soleil inLa Plagne Soleil is located high enough to enjoy some late season skiing. Appartment we stayed in had a majestic view over the mountains from our amlpe balcony. Residence is located voer three different chalets which are connected to eachother. From the reception to our appartment we needed three different elevators. A bit of a puzzle but we did it with a smile, thinking about the sleepless nights the architect most likely had puzzleing to different chalets together. Limited number of restaurants in the area, even less bars/apres ski. Good equipped wellness and gym in the residence.

The studio is a caricature of cheapness as far as everything in the room is concerned, from wall and floor covering to furniture (no sofa or armchair, inadequate bedding comfort) or plates and linens. The room is very small and plain. Each guest must do the dishes and clean before departure, which is no guarantee of cleanliness or hygiene. The walls […] lack any sound proofing. For the positives: the staff is professional and reactive, and the location, within meters of the slopes and the core of Courchevel 1850, is perfect. Read more
