To start with, I chose the hotel for the relatively affordable price. And because it financially sponsors the adjacent primary school. Once there, I was... welcomed so warmly by the staff and that feeling of belonging lasted the whole stay! It really felt like...I was a member of the family. They even used my first name all the time. Hotel is simple & located a bit away from everything, but I would definitely recommend it, as the staff is extremely nice and helpful, all while being professional and caring.And that applied to all the guests too. Many thanks to Teddy and Skola and all the volunteer teachers !! ps: Did I mention I woke up to the breathtaking view of Mt Kilimanjaro from my balcony every day? :-) by Lawrence from MAURITIUS on 03/13/13

Anlände mitt i natten och blev hämtad av chaufför från hotellet. Tillbringade endast denna natt på Stella Maris, för vidare resa till Zanzibar dagen därpå. Trevligt bemötande och god service, mycket prisvärt!
